I have had Visible for 6 months now. I have had to speak with customer service via chat, and they were quick and resolved the issue fast. My main beef is when traveling, I don't have coverage all the time. So I have to keep a backup phone for traveling. I use Visible to stream Netflix and play Minecraft on the Xbox mostly. I've never had an issue with service. I'm keeping them!
I'm glad you like it. Not a bad idea to have another SIM while traveling, but I don't like that you have to do that. When I drove across the country, I got US Mobile for a second line just in case.
May I vent? Earlier this evening I switched from Verizon to Visible. Did the Esim transfer. Port my number? No problem they say. A few minutes later I received an email telling me that my ported number is ready to go NOW. Excellent! But, it didn't work. Resets and reboots didn't help. Chatted with support. They suggested reset and reboot. No dice. Then I'm told that porting a number takes 24 to 48 hours. In the meantime I have no phone service. Trying to be patient. Not off to a good start.
No. Never did get it to work. Did another customer service chat that lasted two hours. Three different reps tried to help and they all had me changing various settings. I don't know how many times I heard, "This will do it." I finally told them that I give up and asked them to cancel my service, which they promptly did with zero argument. I believe they were relieved! I went back to Verizon and they had me up and running in about thirty minutes. The rep there refused to say anything bad about Visible but admitted quite a few customers came back in the same situation. If this helps at all, I have an iPhone XR. Good luck.
Switched to visible a few months ago to get the free air pods pro and $150 off an iPhone 12 pro. Service around my house (Silicon Valley) is terrible but it's great at work. I'll d stick with it for now.
What city do you live if u don't mind me asking. I also live in Silicon Valley more specifically in Morgan Hill and I've been thinking about switching but idk how the service is.
@@alanmaresromero9364 I live in Palo Alto and work in Redwood City. Coverage in both cities is very spotty (mostly bad). Also, lately (the last few months) the service has been terrible, not slow speeds but no service at all (zero bars). Sometimes toggling airplane mode brings a bar back but often not. Something changed a few months ago to their service, it got so bad that I just switched to US Mobile GSM (T-Mobile). It's seems better, although I wouldn't say it is great. Your mileage may vary, others seem to be happy with it.
@@sjn7220 I have tmobile and it's "okay" just very spoty where I work and no service where I live, so I was thinking of switching to visible but I guess I'll try cricket which runs on ATT. Thanks for the help! :)
yeah but then you get buffered every 5 seconds cuz it has to rout to your tunnel then back to you. shouldnt have to use a VPN for anything, if you do then the service is botch.
Same experience. That's the exact reason why I did not continue with them. I didn't get any service inside my house but had full signal bars outside. While T-mobile does not have this problem inside my house.
Works great in Tulsa, Ok but loses service as soon as I get into the city I live in which is about 30miles away. Their support couldn’t help me and kept saying my service should be working, but I checked where the closest Verizon tower was and it was out of reach. Sucks but will prob still keep it for $25/month
I bought my iPhone 12 from ATT. Have an $80 dollar plan buy my bill is $160 a month after all their fees and taxes. I'm done. I don't think I can switch to Visible wireless with an ATT phone.
I just ordered sim card and a second phone for a family member. With party pay I'm going to save $20 a month on those lines of service. This review makes me feel like this is going to really work out well for me. The only thing is the other family member isn't very tech savvy but I usually have to help even with the previous TMobile so I do think it will matter.
@@MichaelSaves well it's my mother and unfortunately she is good at complaining about anything and most of her phone issues are caused by her. I don't expect anything different. I have seen before with my work phone being Verizon that it worked in places I went camping more often than TMobile so I think it's going to be good for me. Plus savings. The only thing I don't like is the speed cap on hotspot but I actually don't think that will be a big issue either for as much as I use it.
Michael Saves, after your review and other glowing reviews I attempted to get Visible wireless today. I started the process at 6pm EST, and now 12:13am EST, and they have my first month payment and i do not have a working phone. If anyone is going to Visible, do not do the eSIM. Not a good enough technology as Visible is using it. I have had used other online only carriers like Tello and MintMobile that I setup in minutes after payment. Maybe it's the phone or how they are using eSIM. All I know is that 6.25 hours of my aggravation is worth more than the low cost of $40/mo. ☹
Understand your frustration for sure! Did Visible confirm phone compatibility before you signed up? I assume yes. It should literally take just a few minutes with eSIM.
@@MichaelSaves Yes. Confirmed compatibility with both Visible and Google (bought unlocked direct from Google Store). I have a callback "escalation" for today at some point. I will get a physical SIM, I guess. My other plans ends today so I'll probably end up paying for two plans for month one. Bad timing and bad eSIM download tech. Oh well. It's life.
So I waited today for 19 hours for a call back from visible. No one called. I called customer service. Then I got an email. That they called. They didn't call. Cuz I had my phone on all day. This is a most horrible company when it comes to customer service. I'm glad lots of people have success with this company. But visible, is not for me. And it took me another hour to just get a refund. This is not customer service. People should be aware that some customers they do not care about.
@@nmprofessional I’m sorry to hear this. What a waste of your time. Where did you end up going? US Mobile may be a good one to try. But it seems you’ve tried a few other good ones in the past.
I love visible so far! It’s killer with its pricing and I can upgrade once I pay off half of my phone’s financing plan??? Hell yeah lmao definitely recommend it
You are complaining about about ping times on a cellphone.....lmfao. Putting Verizon service and visible service right next to each other and there is virtually no difference for me. Ping times are 70-90 for me. I hit 140 down and 20 up driving on the freeway in a rural area. I stream Sirius to an android phone connected to android auto. While streaming 720p video to an iPad and I play games on the iPhone that’s being used as the hotspot. Never have an issue. For $25 let me know what’s better...
I had Visible for almost two years now, calling and texting were good but not great but I like Verizon 4G networks and unlimited data ,it's fast and reliable, but Visible phones are locked , they can only be used on Verizon networks.
I was with Sprint and was forced to switch to a T-Mobile sim...now I have horrible reception and I don't live in a rural area at all! I have decided to switch to visible and just buy new phones and by joining your party...$25 per month will easily pay for my new phones FAST ! I pay over $100 per month for 2 lines now!!!
Michael, the credit card protection plans only cover up to $800. Most iPhones are over a $1000. So if you lose your phone or it gets stolen you’re gonna end up paying a lot of money? Am I missing something? Thanks for your time
I just became a new customer! After watching this video--I'm considered with the data speeds and video quality. I did buy a new iphone 13 pro max through them/affirm, so I'm wondering if I don't like the service, can I cancel it and take the phone I'm paying for through Affirm to another carrier or service plan?
Man, I really appreciate you mentioning Gaming and the Ping relationship! My primary reason for looking into Visible is to get rid of my terrible wireless ISP. If you're averaging 120, that's not terrible, just not great. But I wonder if that would be better with a home cell booster setup?
While watching your video just now I get a text message from my Verizon service letting me know that my phone is down to less than 10% of it's monthly data bandwidth allowance and will shortly be reduced to basically old dial-up modem speeds for remainder of the data cycle... .ughhhh! I've so had it with my Verizon Wireless plans at this point.... over 2 weeks remaining in my data cycle before the cap will lift again, I hope to NOT be a Verizon Wireless direct customer before then though! Just saying.
I am sorry. That's so frustrating. The good news with Visible is you don't get slowed down due to data usage. It's a truly unlimited plan. But your priority is lower than Verizon Postpaid, so you can be slowed down during congestion.
Hey Mr Saves, did u know that visable has no number to call for assistance and many people who are disabled have a hard time typing to chat for help!.. So that's 11 things to know
I am reading a lot about Visible cancelling accounts without warning in the last few days? Something to do with a promo. You are a customer, has anything happened to your account? Makes me wonder about switching. TIA!
I've had no issues. I don't know if I would have handled the situation the way Visible has, but it canceled accounts of people violating terms and conditions in order to get a gift card. The reason I say I wouldn't have done it the way Visible did is that perhaps some people didn't intentionally cheat the system. It's hard to know. So I would have preferred if they emailed the offenders and told them they would not receive the gift card and that they had 15 days to find another carrier.
What do you mean? You sign up and get the deals, then you join a party after you sign up. (you can join mine if you want or many others.) Every customer can be in Party Pay and take advantage of the referrals, certainly new ones and you can take advantage of those device offers too. Good luck.
Michael....if you want to test it out and then decide to remain as a customer, can you join somebody's group, after the fact? Or...do you need to join from the beginning? I just don't want to join a group and then leave in a month if it's not the right service for me.
Yes you can join or leave a party anytime. You can always join my group. There are plenty of people that it won’t affect anyone’s bill if you leave. The link is in the description and pinned comment.
I was thinking of looking into the service, but then I found out in the compatibility checker that my Samsung s10e isn't compatible. I know it's not the newest phone but I still I figure I can get some life out of it since it was quite expensive to begin with. I purchased it factory unlocked so I don't understand why it isn't compatible.
I been using noncompatible phone on visible for over a year now and it still work great. Depending on the phone u might have to change the apn to get it working. Some phone just work without any adjustment. Some phone texting don't work but if u download the verizon messenger app on the google store then it would work. Just look up nonsupported phone on visible on utube there are some tutorial that people made about it. Just make sure your phone got band that support verizon network. I think that is what most important.
Thanks for your vid Michael. Yours is current. Since Big V. bought Tracfone, Visible should work on T. phones.? My present 1 year card with T. expires in June. Visible states my T. phones are not compatible. (Again, V. bought T.) The phones are- Moto E6 and LG Rebel 3. (3 is a refurb) So your video has been bookmarked when the time is to try Visible. A lot of RVers had discussed Visible as a 'net provider when it's service debuted.
Yes some RVers use it for internet since the mobile hotspot is unlimited. And I use the mobile hotspot when traveling all the time. I'm not sure about Tracfone devices. You can use the compatibility checker on Visible's website. Sometimes it's unpredictable and a bit surprising to me why it will say some devices are not compatible.
Hot spot is capped at 5mbps. Even states on the site. I've ran the hotspot through an extender into my router for the home network. It'll barely stream 1080p. I was going to do that to get the new customer price on my ISP for 1 Gbps for 50.00. In order to do that, I'd have to have not had service within the past 30 days. Then I called them to cancel and they were able to give me the promotion. I would have been OK with one month's worth of suffering.
@@MichaelSaves My buddy lives in the sticks and had T Mobile for years. The 5G was great in his area. He ditched it for Mint and he used up his hotspot allotment in a couple days. He’s now using his Dex. I could at least say, with Visible, you’ll still have your hotspot but you won’t be rocking high speeds.
I'm disabled and considering going off grid. I need this for college classes. My friend wants to go and wants to know if it'll be enough speed to do telemarketing and work remotely. Could she use mine or would she need her own?
Possibly. MetroPCS uses T-Mobile's network. Go to this website (webcoveragemap.rootmetrics.com/en-US) and enter your ZIP code to see how the networks perform where you live. You may live in an area where a plan that uses Verizon or AT&T's network will be better. Visible uses Verizon's 4G and 5G networks, but no 3G roaming. That's mostly an issue in more rural areas.
This was a great video and I'm 99% convinced and I'd gladly use your referral code but one long question: I travel for work and play online poker in my free time. The most frustrating thing while playing poker online is getting disconnected for long durations. I don't need fast speed just a VERY stable connection. Would this do the trick? Thanks and subscribed!
I think that all depends on the coverage. So you could enter the cities you travel to in the coverage map tool. If there is strong coverage you should be good.
Has anyone done anything with their Wi-Fi service on Verizon? We are fairly rural and have terrible internet. We have to use Wi-Fi. With phone and internet our bill is 200+ per month.

Do you get all Verizon towers ? A lot of these thord party providers claim to be on this or that network which is true but as I have found out they don't have access to all that networks towers only a portion of them .
I purchased Visible a month go. I use it only for my TV streaming. It constantly buffers, from the getgo. I have done everything Visible tells me to do, but it doesn't help. Do you have any thoughts?
Are you streaming on your phone or a connected device? If you use mobile hotspot, that's why. They slow speeds for mobile hotspot. If it's for your phone, that shouldn't happen. I'm wondering if the service isn't a good fit for you in that case.
If I already have a phone with an existing plan and I want to change my number and service to Visible, would I be able to do that? What would be the process?
Yes, through porting. You will check on Visible's website to see if your phone is compatible before signing up. During the signup process, you'll let them know you're transferring your number. Visible will take over from there.
I am considering to have a new back up line with Visible. After applying, can I turn on some months or turn off some months freely? And how I join your party? Which applying stage to mention to join your party?
I have a link to the party in the description. You join after you sign up. It's a prepaid service, so it's fairly easy to stop and start. But there's no on or off switch. Do you have high data needs with this line? If not, maybe an annual plan from Red Pocket Mobile would work? Those are available through Red Pocket Mobile's eBay store.

You could connect to Wi-Fi at a coffee shop and also stream in HD. Sorry if the point was not clear. But since Visible is truly unlimited data, some people may not automatically use their home Wi-Fi.
@@MichaelSaves Agreed, I’m one of those people. I don’t use Wi-Fi on my phone at home. I feel like, what’s the point of paying a phone bill if I can’t solely use what I pay every month for. So my data has to be good.
I am Surprised that you have not mention anything about Visible’s latest promo. I learned about this on Facebook, Also it come up on Google. $15.00 a month for a whole year.
I just received my new phone from visible, after 12 hours of constant attempts to activate service then another 5 hours trying to figure out why phone won't download apps. All I can say is, 10am can't get here fast enough so I can reactivate my old phone with boost. What a total waste of time and money. So do I recommend visible,? My recommendation is to stay the f away from them, you'll save yourself the highest levels of frustration and reconnect fees back to your original device and then you'll be faced with a fight to recover visible fees and then there's the loss of revenue for losing phone and internet service.
@@MichaelSaves how does that work if I’m already in a party? This is from their chat bot 💬 “As long as they aren't already in a Party, any active member can start one.” And a Visible customer service rep said this “You can either create or join a Party Pay plan.”

Different products for different markets. Why does Apple not just sell it's most expensive phone for maximum profit? Because people who want a cheaper phone will go someplace else. It's not exactly the same as when you buy a company, it's often to buy their customer base and then try to up sell or convert them to use your flagship products. It might just be it was cheaper to buy the other company than to compete with them directly.

I'm glad you like it. Not a bad idea to have another SIM while traveling, but I don't like that you have to do that. When I drove across the country, I got US Mobile for a second line just in case.
Great video. Visible looks like the best value if you go for the party plan. Thanks for the info!
Thank you, I needed a 2021 update.
I just made the switch over to Visible based upon your review. Thank you for allowing me to join your party to save some money.
Did you ever get phone service? Because they are still holding my number hostage and I have no service. It has been four days so far.
Good luck.
@@Iwannadrive Any update, Stephen? What phone do you have?
@@zimplemeh Nothing new. I paid my Stupid Tax and went back to Verizon. I have an iPhone XR.

You can get around the 480p streaming limit with a VPN, just FYI :-)
Good to Know
how does it work ?
yeah but then you get buffered every 5 seconds cuz it has to rout to your tunnel then back to you. shouldnt have to use a VPN for anything, if you do then the service is botch.
Crazy I’m streaming 1080p on this video rn.
Lol bro I be streaming 1080p no problem. I live in NYC
Great information. Thanks for sharing! I can't wait to sign up for Visible and start saving on my mobile bill.
Visible Wireless is awesome. T-Mobile penetrates buildings better where I live and have faster latency but Visible is solid.
Same experience. That's the exact reason why I did not continue with them. I didn't get any service inside my house but had full signal bars outside. While T-mobile does not have this problem inside my house.
@@zimplemeh I thought Verizon had the best network?
@@gavinoctavien1953 they do, I think. But the signal penetration through walls and ceilings is poor.

So should I switch over from T-Mobile to visible? My T - mobile bill is like $85 right now
Works great in Tulsa, Ok but loses service as soon as I get into the city I live in which is about 30miles away. Their support couldn’t help me and kept saying my service should be working, but I checked where the closest Verizon tower was and it was out of reach. Sucks but will prob still keep it for $25/month
If I just want to use UA-cam, google maps, and Spotify. Will I have issues with Visibe’s speeds?
OMG all I know is yesterday I saw their same ad about 750 times and if I see it one more time my head is going to explode.
Very informative!!! So can an iPhone 11 purchase through Verizon be used on visible!
Sometimes. I would use the compatibility tool on visible’s website to be sure
Great video,keep it!🇧🇳
Thank you so much 😀
I bought my iPhone 12 from ATT. Have an $80 dollar plan buy my bill is $160 a month after all their fees and taxes. I'm done. I don't think I can switch to Visible wireless with an ATT phone.
I did
I just ordered sim card and a second phone for a family member. With party pay I'm going to save $20 a month on those lines of service.
This review makes me feel like this is going to really work out well for me. The only thing is the other family member isn't very tech savvy but I usually have to help even with the previous TMobile so I do think it will matter.
Hopefully once you get set up you don't have to help anymore. Let me know how it goes

Hell yeah lmao definitely recommend it
Ping is the biggest problem, working but not suitable for multitasking! Great for a secondary phone.
Great video. Thanks.

I did buy a new iphone 13 pro max through them/affirm, so I'm wondering if I don't like the service, can I cancel it and take the phone I'm paying for through Affirm to another carrier or service plan?
I would chat with them about your options. But I’m wondering - did you do the free trial to test it out first?
thanks for the comprehensive review. i am unable to find a link to join your party...can you you post it?

Whoa....visible caught on to the reddit thread and instead of shutting it down...encouraged it?? Big thumbs up
Yes they never discouraged it. But they’ve certainly leaned in and improved Party Pay
Man, I really appreciate you mentioning Gaming and the Ping relationship! My primary reason for looking into Visible is to get rid of my terrible wireless ISP. If you're averaging 120, that's not terrible, just not great. But I wonder if that would be better with a home cell booster setup?
Speeds and service depend how close you are to a Verizon cell towers.
So that's 11 things to know
I mentioned that in the video
I am reading a lot about Visible cancelling accounts without warning in the last few days? Something to do with a promo. You are a customer, has anything happened to your account? Makes me wonder about switching. TIA!
I've had no issues. I don't know if I would have handled the situation the way Visible has, but it canceled accounts of people violating terms and conditions in order to get a gift card. The reason I say I wouldn't have done it the way Visible did is that perhaps some people didn't intentionally cheat the system. It's hard to know. So I would have preferred if they emailed the offenders and told them they would not receive the gift card and that they had 15 days to find another carrier.
how do I become customer...specs?
Real question is, will I qualify for those deals as a new customer if I join someone's party?

I purchased it factory unlocked so I don't understand why it isn't compatible.
Buy one their phones and sell yours. Many of theirs give you virtual mastercards as well. Pretty good deal.
@@MichaelSaves Thanks for the reply. When the time is up I'll return and do the required research. As usual. Search, search, search.
Used to be you would be maxed out at 4 for the party plan.
Yes.. not anymore. Unlimited
I often get more than 5 Mbps -- but below 10. It helps a lot during power outages.
I had Visible for > 1 years & experienced dropped calls & > buffering than Verizon. I'm switching the family to US Mobile.
I think US Mobile is a good move for you then!
I'm disabled and considering going off grid. I need this for college classes. My friend wants to go and wants to know if it'll be enough speed to do telemarketing and work remotely. Could she use mine or would she need her own?
I have Verizon now so If I do go with Visible and I put their SIM card in my phone will all my contacts be there?
Just what does the SIM card store?
I currently have MetroPCS and get just 1 bar of signal at my house. Do you think switching to Visible might change that?
But if your out in the country you may not get service.
Do you mean outside of the USA? If so you can try T-Mobile instead.
Just heard the $3 first month deal is running again and I missed it last time. Anyone have the info?
How noticable/frequent is the internet slowdown, including upload speeds? I use it all of the time and my mom needs it and the hotspot for work.
For me it’s not bad but some people have had more frequent issues. Hard to say. I make a living online and Visible is OK for me.
I was charged twice. It’s been 2 days and I still have no service. Can’t talk to anyone. Only chat with no resolution
This was a great video and I'm 99% convinced and I'd gladly use your referral code but one long question:
I travel for work and play online poker in my free time.
