  • Hey everyone. So most of you know I had Covid in August. I wanted to chat with you all about some covid- 19 symptoms Im still experiencing including hairloss. My hair is falling out in clumps. I never thought covid hairloss would be on of the Coronavirus long term effects I would be dealing with after recovering from Covid. I do have many other odd after Covid symptoms as well but the including loss of smell and loss of taste. And find it weird that Covid hair loss is the symptom that bothers me the least.
I hope this video helps give you guys some answers about hair loss and Covid-19 hair loss and that those of us who have had Covid can share different symptoms we may have had or still have with each other.
Thank you for your support and for watching!

Thank you so much for sharing your story! I too had covid in August, the hair loss has been tremendous! But the last three times I washed it, there was less shedding. Just In case any of your subs read this, I wanted to mention two other symptoms I had that no one has talked about. I had a skin rash over my whole upper body. It turned into hives, and benadryl cream helped with it, but it took 4 months to go away. Also, most importantly I had major depression with thoughts of not wanting to live. I have never had thoughts or feelings like that before or since having covid, so I pretty sure it was a symptom of Covid. If any of your followers are reading this and this is something you are feeling, please talk to your doctor!!! Don't wait!! Thank you! Stay safe and God bless!

I contracted covid in Jan. 2022. As of this week I’ve lost at least 50% of my hair and counting. Now, I can’t stop the constant anxiety about my hair loss. I’m sure the stress is not helping the situation. I was down for a week with a high fever, horrible body aches, smell changes (like u I smelled a funky odor all the time) and overwhelming brain fog but other than that it was not that severe. I’m dumbstruck by the hair loss and thought I had overcome covid with no after affects, boy was I wrong🥴. I’ve started a vitamin regimen and I’m going to the dermatologist this week to hopefully obtain some help. I’m praying that all the people afflicted with this terrible disease can fully recover.

Oh wow! Im so sorry you are having hairloss. It definitely in sort of a kick in the gut to think you got out on the otherside ok then the hairloss starts. I hope your dermatologist can help and I do believe vitamins are a huge reason why mine stopped. It's been about 2 months now and shedding is a normal amount again. I will be sending all my good vibes your way! 😘

Would go into coughing attacks that i couldnt stop until id break down in tears like a baby. Here we are 3 months later and my hair fell out, it was a ball the size of a honey dew melon. I cried, i felt sorry for myself bc i am very inlove and attached to my hair. I am one of those natural hair girls who caters and protects and works hard to see it healthy and strong for years. the back of my head, and the front is see through. Devastation but im ok now! First of all, my heart goes out to your family about the loss of your friend. Please hang in there! We went through the same thing after having covid in October 2021, we were sick and out of work for a month (the worst feeling I've ever felt, horrible). Then the shedding started in January, at least 1/3 of my hair fell out. Light at the end of the tunnel - I noticed the excessive shedding finally stopped last week. From others who also experienced the same, there are a few months where nothing happens at all (no loss/no growth) but it does grow back again. I'm also smelling phantom burning smells and weird sour smells no one else can smell (never lost taste or smell). Please take good care, it's frustrating. I'm thinking of you and sending healing thoughts your way.

    • @AnasaNaturals

Pumpkin Seed oil helps. My hair was down my back, cutting it below the shoulders made it less traumatic and the bangs helped hide the thinning. My hair is curly like yours. Please hang in there, it won't all fall out. It's traumatic, but please try not to stress...the loss is due to stress on the body. ❤

My son and his bride to be have The Big C right now. He says he is tired (irritable) headache, body aches, less lung capacity, loss of taste and smell. He only had one dose of vaccine and she has refused vaccination. Her symptoms are similar to his. When the public outbreak started he was cautious. I believe, in part, peer pressure caused him to throw caution to the wind. They are due to be married in a few days. Just a ceremony, no reception. It would be considerate and kind to postpone because the infection rate is increasing and will increase more after the holidays. He is an adult and has his own life. Still, it's my opinion, that it's not wise to gather without mitigation. It's also disappointing that he minimizes the risks. Thanks for sharing your experiences.

I had Covid last march. My husband works for a company where he, at the time, had a lot of interaction with people. So he got sick first. Two days later I and our kids were sick. The girls were fine. My youngest just had a fever for 2 weeks, while my oldest daughter we think was asymptomatic. My husband and I were bedridden for over a week. I had trouble breathing. At the time testing was not readily available. But his doctor was pretty certain we had it based on the symptoms. I had the shortness for breath for months after. Reading to my daughter was a struggle. I never lost my sense of taste or smell. However, I do still suffer from brain fog and hair loss. I have thought about cutting my hair really short but then you could see all the bald spots. I am so self conscious about it. I hope your symptoms resolve soon. I really am sorry about how this is affecting you emotionally.

You are not alone. I tested positive October 1. My husband and sister had it as well. I had high fevers for 11 days and diarrhea for 14 days. I have had hair start falling out in handfuls. So does my husband and sister. I have also had a problem with anal fistures and a rash in between my cheeks. It all started at the end of Covid. It’s literally a pain in my butt. Foggy head is also an issue for me. My husband still can’t smell most things. My sister had severe cramping and bleeding after Covid then her IUD shot out. We are all having issues. My daughter had a miscarriage at 18 weeks. While having Covid. This is a very serious virus. Hope things turn around for you.

OMGoodness😳😳! First, thank goodness you are still here! And thank you for sharing this information. The after effects of COVID are scary because it messes with your mental as well as your physical health. My family had COVID tests last week- after close contact with COVID positive individuals (2 different purple at 2 separate gatherings). Thankfully all our tests came back negative because we wear our masks religiously! But it's scary to think everyone in our house could have been sick at the same time. I'm not sure what's going on with the mask mandates- but we are keeping our masks on forever🤣! Praying for your full recovery!! Stay safe beautiful!

Got my smell back but it’s weird some days. I too had a strong sense of smell but simple things, like toothpaste, smell so strange to me. Not that I’m complaining but I’ve not had to shave my underarms or legs lately either. I tried to explain to my husband, right after Covid, that my skin felt like a bad sunburn. I’m thankful that sensation has gone away. He didn’t have these symptoms after the fact like I did. Have things gone back to normal for you or are you still experiencing post Covid symptoms? I hope it gets better with time. Thanks.

. For anyone that needs advice. I too had covid hair loss and lost quite a bit of hair. Immediately started a regimen of collagen- dose and co- everyday, liquid biotin, multivitamin, vitamin d, biotin capsules, fenugreek capsules and green tea capsules. I even drank black seed oil but only for a week( really strong taste). It's been 2 months since I started and I can finally say I feel confident that my hair is healthy again. It looks fuller where bald spots used to be. Of course its thinner at the ends because I refused to cut it. But the ends reach my hips and when i started it reached my waist. Pray and keep the faith that Jesus will help you, so be positive! Oh and use tea tree oil shampoo, which helps stimulate blood flow in your scalp.
