- Ok everyone I decided to do a covid hairloss hair growth update. Its been 2 years since I got covid and and had a good amount of hairloss among other long term covid symptoms. I have had a lot of hair growth in the last 6 months or so and I have noticed my hair loss slow down in that time frame as well. I also share some weird covid symptoms I still have even after 2 years. I feel at this point I am experiencing covid long haul. Please share any long term covid side effects you may be having int he comments below so we can compare notes!

Hey you! Im so sorry to hear your hair never came back but glad you are able to wear wigs. The weightloss has been difficult! But i think thats due to my hysterectomy. The burning and other things i learned to deal with too 😢 its good to be back posting and chattin with you guys 🥰
Rogaine! At first my hair wasn’t growing back either, my scalp was straight bald in small patches throughout my scalp (like the follicle was never there) I’m three months in using it and my hair follicles are coming back.
I’m having Covid hair loss right now 5 months almost . The shedding slowed down scalp pain unbearable. I’m starting to get better with washing it . I’m not coloring it until regrows scalp is back to normal maybe after a year will color it . Your hair looks great gorgeous giving me hope that grows back 🙏❤️

I smell burnt rubber at odd times 🤷🏾♀️ 🤣🤣 My hair fell out too! It grew back, but the texture is different in the back. And my hair is still thin!
As a nurse I feel obligated to caution you against stopping blood pressure meds unless told to do so by your health care provider. It's a reason blood pressure is called the "silent killer." It is what ultimately led to Tina Turner's death. The thing about high blood pressure is that the damage is silent and deadly AND the damage can take place in very little time and grow exponentially in its effect on your body. PLEASE PLEASE 🙏 🙏 🙏 PLEASE Be careful because this damage can be done with your pressure elevated only 5-10 points above normal. I got off my BP meds by loosing weight (90+lbs) - it tooks years to do, but was sooooo worth the effort!

Hello! Its good to be back! I missed you guys! Omg burnt rubber is a horrible smell too! I think thats equally as bad lol I started my BP meds back a few days ago. My pressure was slighly elevated over the last few wks so I decided to start back. I have appts coming up so I will discuss with my Dr then. Thank you for the concern. I know better as well. Im in the medical field lol congrats on your weightloss! Wow! 👏🏽
Male here.. had covid with hair loss on crown and receding hairline, possibly once Dec 2019 and another February 2020.. years later slight improvement on crown but still thinning. I get a haircut every 2 to 3 weeks to maintain sanity. I'm all ears to strategies to grow and fill out my thinning crown, and possibly my hairline.
Hey! Im sorry you are still having hair loss. Im have been taking vitamins with biotin and also using Mielle Rosemary Mint & Scalp Hair Oil that has Biotin in it as well. Glad you are managing the effects, as best as you can. When grandbaby started pre-school last fall, we stayed sick till summer. MONTHS! Her pre-school did close three times because staff tested positive . We ran multiple C tests and we didn't get a positive. Can tell you, one of my symptoms from from a months long, sinus infection, was a spoiled meat, decay taste-smell. Many people I have had conversations with report similar symptoms as yours, after C. Hey you! Omg! The baby is already in preschool?! Time is flying! Its good to hear you all are good and never testes pos. Ya thr rotten meat taste was in the beginning now things are just off like way too salty or bland or chemically. Like everything is exaggerated.... lol

Hey girl! Yeah I shaved all my hair off a couple of years ago. Because of that. My scalp hurt. I still keep a fade. I don't know that I will ever let my hair grow out.😊

Yes! My scalp got really tight and extremely itchy! Almost like my scalp was having an allergic reaction without the hives. My hair loss didn’t start right away mine was normal shedding several months after the illness without the hair growing back. Yes, too felt like I was going crazy! I’m still trying to regrow my hair from the scalp.

How did u get it healthier or get it to grow back we have like identical hair! My hair been falling out n breaking - maybe bc if stress - medical issues! Every shower - yea thise clumps of hair 😢
I honestly have been as nice as possible to it lol no unecessay heat and I use Mielle Rosemsry Oil after every washing and the same hair mask once a month. They are linked in my Amazon favorites. I also take vitamins, some which include biotin in thr ingredients.
