Great video my friend, perfect flight and the bird looks amazing with floats. Thanks for posting and big salute from Slovenia, Pilot Robert
Wow this is amazing!! I loved how the old one flew but hated how it looked. This one looks real and the flight characteristics are superb! Tell the pretty lady that her still shots of the bird at the end of the video were perfect! Steve did a great job on the camera as well!! Good thorough flight demo of all aspects of the flight envelope! Love it!! ✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️
I'm new at rc planes but my god you can fly!
What a nice and powerful plane.
Love it Rich, looks amazing. Great flight brother.
Now that's nice, thanks for the demo
Great flying Rich, love my V1 on grass and at lake house with floats, these are by far one of my favorite flying float planes and really pulls a crowd at the field, thanks for a great video 👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼
Nice demo and a gentle powerful giant 👍
Man that is one bad dude love to get my hands on one eventually
Amazing flight time for how hard you were flying that plane!
That's some scale flying...
Didn't expect this thing to be that fast.Amazing
It's ultra powerfull
That's some NICE flying! Asome pilot. 👍👍👊👨✈️
Excelent vídeo! Congratulations from Brazil
Hermoso avión y buen vuelo
As usual Rich a seriously impressive display of what it can do.....it i didnt already have a V1 (that i bought after your V1 video), and a V2 (i got from FMS last year), id go buy one right now off this video alone👌 great stuff!
Amy killed it with the photos again too🔥🔥
A 16yo LADY HAS B.V2 AND SHE FLIES WITH 6S 7.2A 35C G.ACE AND FPV EQUIPMENT (1.3GHZ 250MW/FY41AP/CAM WITH MICROPHONE) SHE GAVE ME THE GOGGLES AND THE VIEW OF THIS STRONG PLANE IS FABULOUS FROM THE COCKPIT! NICE VID,NICE DAY!
Thanks Marios!
Great flying

Hi Gavin,
A quick update, Horizon hobby product support stepped up after my ESC meltdown and sent me a new one, love the Beaver!
Excellent!
Biutiful plane
Sounds like I am not the only one adding weight to the floats to achieve proper c.g.
Nossa top 😍😍😍
You came damn close to those trees! Whoa. I used your link and bought one.
Thanks man for using my links!
Thanks Rich! I am seriously considering buying this plane for my lake cabin flying and for here at the club. Jim
It is such a sweet plane! Please consider using my links in the description below the video as it does support my channel a no extra cost to you! Thanks for the support!
GD now ii need a Beaver
Which receiver are you using?
Got the Beaver V2 , beautiful plane to fly, unfortunately we have no lakes to fly from where I live (Cornwall UK ), I strap my GoPro4 to the underside , got some nice videos of our flying site, also have the 1400mm FMS Pitts and The FMS Super Cub
Another killer video! Great job!! Just purchased one and was wondering if you could provide some detail on how to split up the float rudder and program it in the radio. Got a dx8 g2 and 6 channel receiver. Thanks!!
Are the wiring water proof in case we crash it ?
Very Nice Rich!, I mentioned in your maiden vid that I purchased one of these, Put a nice coat of Varathane Semi Gloss on it, Really brought out the colors, I don't have the floats yet, But did you use the stock prop with the floats? And is the water rudder removable? As I like to use floats for snow instead of skis in winter. Thanks, and stay safe!
what is your CG on land and in water with floats
Did you change your CG or battery location when using pontoon/floats?
hey brother what lake are you flying from there's a lot of empty lots
What kind of receiver you put on this plane ? or what is the best receiver for this beauty !
I actually had a question which jet do you think flys better the 90mm freewing f18 or the freewing twin 80mm f14
Both are comparable. Its a bit of a trade off however. I like the way the Tomcat flys better with the wings extended and it has a wider stance to the landing gear and sore stable during taxi. The Tomcat is super easy to fly, but takes more attention to setup the swing wing and need more care when flying it with the wings swept back. The Tomcat is super maneuverable! The Freewing Tomcat is the coolest fighter jet availble:) The Hornet is bad to the bone and a much more simplified and easier model to setup and deal with. It has a long flight time and is very fast! The F-18 flys very nicely! My only complaint with the hornet is that the main gear is narrow and the plane can tip easily, but this is just how a Hornet is:) You will not go wrong either way, it is more of a matter of personal preference:) Call me if you have any questions... 407-683-6032
RCINFORMER yeah I watched all your vids on it and debating between both of those jets to get so I can fly one at joe nall or something but I’ve always been a tomcat fan it’s just sooooo cool but now that I’ve heard from an expert on it I think I’m sold on it thank you very much 😁
OOPS! my bad...pulled up the wrong web sight, sorry
Hey Rich, great video. Saw you were flying this with a DX7 transmitter. Would it be easy to bind this to my DX6? Any mods you had to make?
No mods, DX6 should work great:) Please consider using my link in the description below the video to purchase as it does support my channel at no extra cost to you! Thank you for your support!
Did you have to add any nose weight to get the c.g. correct ? I am having to add 7 ozs. to front of the floats to get c.g to balance.
I don't remember adding any weight.
@@RCINFORMER Thanks for the reply, am I correct in thinking the c.g. is the same for floats or landing gear?
@@CaptBaldo1 Yes, but I don't remember needing to add any weight. Contact me this weekend & I can check my plane to see if I added weight.
Could I put as3x on this plane?
Can you put a video up that’s just touch and go stuff and scale flying?
With the Beaver or any model?
@@RCINFORMER with the Beaver for sure! I just put mine on floats and I need something to tide me over until the next good patch of weather!
Just an FYI your links are not working, tried to get to the link for the floats and getting a 404 error. I did order the Beaver V2 from your link to hobbyzone on your other video...horizon hobby is out of stock at the moment.
Ok thanks! if you saw my logo there it the same thing! Thanks for the support!
Where did you get the decals for the floats ?? cant find the floats for v2 anywhere
HERE IS A LINK: bit.ly/2CAeV1o
@@RCINFORMER thanks for the link !
@@RCINFORMER Can't find the V2 Red floats anywhere..Any help will be appreciated
@@michaeldonovan369 I think everyone is out of them Right now
i had to add a pound of weight up front to get the CG right on mine with a 4000 battery slightly less with a 5000 . i would like to see how you did yours .
I added no weight! Just used a 5000 pack:)
@@RCINFORMER WOW i think i had to add 10z. with the 5000 14oz with a 4000 . i have seen another review on here where the guy had to add about the same as me. anyhow that was some great flying .
@@RCINFORMER can you show us in video where is your CG for with floats in water and for landing gears on land
✈✈🐨.whats the 3 holes underneath. maybe tape over. Keith Australia .
No need to tape over... there is nothing critical in there to get wet... those are cooling exhaust holes.
Sorry Rich not Gavin!
I’m just waiting for him to put that airplane in the weeds and flip over so the ESC can burn out.
Dude...web sight says no longer available...wtf
