    I need to get one! I have a heavy PA speaker I lug around for vocals . This is much more practical

    Tx. I`ve got one. I usually use mine linked to our main speakers as a monitor. Works perfect. I have a full sound and probably the best monitorsound in the band 😀 I am looking for a passive speaker to go with it... and a speaker stand that fits!

    Hello Vinnie, thank you for the great review! It seems a very nice system... does it lack little push in the bass, I have seen it is just 80-20.000? Have you ever tested other portable systems like Mackie FreePlay Live and Laney A-Fresco? .. just trying to compare them before buying but cannot find anything online.

    Hello, Vinny. cool vid. some questions, up to how many people attending would you recommend it? is it worthy to have two o would be too much? Nowadays, do you have it as one of your main amps? Thanks you so much.

    Thank you so much for this great review! I will be thankful if you could reply to these questions:
    1. Did you use it with your trio (0:51-0:58)?
    2. What is your recommendation regarding the max venue size (number of people) that this unit can cut through when guitar and vocals run through it?
    3. When you use it to amplify your guitar only, what is the max venue size that you would use it for?
    Many thanks in advance :-)

      +Na'ama Eilon I use it for a variety of gigs but mainly for small clubs. Yes I am using it with the trio. You can add a larger speaker for a more powerful sound. It's by far the most complete little PA speaker system I have owned and I don't have to break my back carrying it around..:-) I would say up to 200 people would be max venue without an extra speaker and 300 with it but don't quote me on that. I don't work for them I just dig the gear. Check the specs at the LD website for more info. www.ld-systems.com/en/home/?force_sid=aq1jti7ufv0fopjl5dt46mhoi6

    Hey Vinny, if you could tell us what type of FX/Stomps you're using to get this warm jazzy tone in conjunction with your smooth Hollow Body ...any Compressor or Preamp stomp ? (such as the Nyle Komp of Vertex FX which has this unique funky jazz tone)

    • @VinnyValentino
      @VinnyValentino  2 роки тому

      I use a Zoom G5n plug directly in but the tone comes from the D'Angelico EX1. It's a sweet sound and needs no effects.

    Hey Vinnie. Thanks for the in-depth review. I'm curious how much hiss this speaker produces when idle? My experience w/ powered speakers is that they hiss quite a bit especially when the treble is boosted. I hope to use this for very intimate gigs. Looking forward to your response...

    • @VinnyValentino
      @VinnyValentino  6 років тому

      I don't have the exact specs on the amount of hiss it produces when idle but I can tell you that it is negligible because I haven't noticed any.

      Vinny Valentino, thanks for the reply. It seems as though I can hear noise in the speaker while you are talking but it is not noticeable while playing. But if you're saying it has not been an issue then I'll trust you due to your tasty riffs and level of professionalism. 🤘🏼

      @@AbrahamNeuwelt there is a hiss at 3:15 when he is playing..also when he is talking..somewhere i was read that powered speakers (especially with built in mixer)produces a lot of hiss..construction problem..dont know is it true but im gonna find one and try..or maui 5 maybe is better solution..

      I have the Mix 10 and there is no noticeable hiss. I have EAW, RCF, and Turbo Sound rigs. I've owned or used JBL, Reinkus Heinz, vDOSC equipment. I gotta tell you that I grab this little gem more frequently than any other speaker. The sound quality really exceed my expectations, and it's so flexible. My beloved RCF HD10a 5's are seeing less used these days. :)

    Hi Vinny,well done for you playing and thank you for the video,I am looking to buy a light small and good quality pa speaker with evething included like reverb,some chorus etc,my only thing that's keeping me undiced ed about this model is, does it produce enough power/volume for an acoustic guitarist and vocals for a pub /cafe restaurant,would you recommend this amp.i would appreciate your opinion

    • @VinnyValentino
      @VinnyValentino  2 роки тому +1

      I find it to be sufficient for gigs like that. When I need a bit more power I brings a Bag End TA 12 jr with me and plug it into the speaker out. It works great.

    hi ! can I connect a mic and a guitar and a keyboard? together?

  • @Darmstadtiensis
    @Darmstadtiensis 4 місяці тому

    Is it not a problem to connect a guitar or a keyboard? I see only mic mic mic? Some people told me it is not so loud for a club. Is it true?

    • @VinnyValentino
      @VinnyValentino  4 місяці тому

      I would say if you are playing with a drummer in a medium size room or club use an amp. It's great in small clubs or restaurant. There are 4 inputs you can use for guitar or keys. The mic jacks double as 1/4 inch ins. Hence the whole in the center of the jack.

      @@VinnyValentino I dont understand. Can I use LD Systems Mix 6 it with a drummer in a medium size room or not? Can you compare the LD System with the amp Roland Cube Street EX? Which one is louder? Is a semifrofessional - shall I buy it for clubs, partys and churches?

    This video is cool, and shows off just the features I could read off of any website trying to sell one.
    But, I've given it a thumbs down for not enjoying the, in my opinion, strange cuts for music that's lined through this device, but requires a loop pedal and what not to do.
    The lining does not give me a view of the actual sound of the speaker itself. The effects and if they are useful and usable was not displayed either. The story of the keyboard guy was not ended with any kind of comparison if this little device actually was enough for you to be a good part of the mix in the gig or if the keyboard guy ended up having to compensate down to a level this could handle. So this video just left me confused rather than giving me much more insight than that it might have the right kind of features I'm looking for in my search of videos of this device.
