Good for all of you!!! While I understand that "Perfect People" are EXTREMELY annoying, however, that woman just seemed vicious. There's a difference between wanting to bring someone down a peg or two and wanting to tear someone's self-esteem down.

Excellent call, @thebertshow, Lucy wants a mean girls club and wants to spearhead the hate to their first victim. Jealousy is ugly and bless you all for not only not playing into it, AND for calling her out - her bargaining then anger when you did so proves her motives.
People who feel the need to show off and brag all the time are already deeply insecure people. Tearing them down isn't going to make the situation better.

Why do you care? It’s so petty to want to take someone down for your own satisfaction. You could truly hurt someone.
The caller should invest in making her own life the best that it can be. She needs to examine her own behavior and focus on a change of attitude. Ditch the envy and the pettiness. She should be happy for other people and their successes, rather than seeking to tear them down and gloat about it. Wanting to deliberately “take someone down” is a toxic way to walk around in the world. It’s sad and unhealthy. Kudos to Bert for choosing to take the high road.
Petty Lucy has a 1 year old. She could be suffering from postpartum and she hasn’t realized it. She sounds completely miserable. She wants to complain about her life. She said it herself.
