I just wanted to come forward and say that being a social media manager is not for the weak. I'm a social media manager for five separate accounts and there is a TON of work that goes into it. It is not simply taking photos and posting them on Instagram and being done. It's a real job and it's a lot of work.
Someone asked me to manage and be a content creator for their Instagram because they liked my own account that much. I know nothing about being a social media manager except for what worked for me. I’m thinking I might potentially do this for a living now. So thank you so much for all of your videos, they’re being extremely valuable for me while I navigate this new adventure ❤️

I haven’t reached out to new people yet, but after 7 months I’m confident and I’m actually starting to get the word out there. I didn’t want to be overwhelmed and have a lot of clients when I was still trying to learn the job myself. It’s a rewarding job and I love it. Best of luck to you!

Just started freelancing as an SMM and I had a feeling that there was going to be a lot researching involved regarding the product/service that the client is providing, not just making pretty posts. Thank you for clarifying this and you really provided the basics, it was so helpful!

I am really happy with this video. This is what I needed to know to understand exactly what SMMs do in their work. A friend of mine has asked me to be the SMM for his startup. I don't use SM very in-depth, so have been a bit stumped on how to go about it. Other videos were not getting this in depth about the duties I'd be expected to perform, and to what breadth that would entail. Very good.
