As someone who enjoys these Venom movies, the whole “Eddie moving like a crack head” got old REAL fast, cuz that was basically the entirety of the second movie
So a little detail in the movie you got wrong is about how the codex works. It's established that when the host DIES and the symbiote revives them, the codex is formed. Eddie died when he got stabbed in the first movie. They stay consistent with the symbiotes healing people near death, Eddie is the only character who died only to be brought back by the symbiote.
Same here we could have at least got three more movies lol if they didn't conclude with the third film and for the record the venom movies should have been R rated just saying 👍😅
I was surprised to see Agony at the end because she is one of the few symbiotes I know. But the one that I wanted to see was Scream who is similar to Agony but yellow and red. Also Spider-Man related they have official given Spider-Man 4 it's a release date July 24, 2026. Taking place between Doomsday and Secret Wars
I would’ve been surprised that she was in the movie, but Fortnite spoiled the fact she was going to be in the movie because of the collab being a venom the last dance related

Mayyyyybe she'll be in Spider-man 4. There is a comic where SM & Venom fight her. She's also pure evil like her father Carnage, she's meant to be a villain with no redeeming qualities.
I think Eddie's universe may get destroyed. He goes to the mcu, and he gets the symbiote back. He runs into spider-man, and they fight throughout the beginning. But eventually, team up to fight knull. Peter gets badly injured in secret wars, gets the symbiote, it heals him and that's how we get Black suited Spiderman.

Spider-Man 4 is officially hitting theatres July 24, 2026. A week after Christopher Nolan’s movie. What a summer it’s gonna be my favourite comic book character of all time and my favourite director having a film in back to back weeks.

I personally came out enjoying and liking venom the last dance, I understand that it was messy from its story and pacing, but there were times that I like it ,especially the near the end and how threatening the monsters from venom homeworld were 18:21 Maybe she had a bigger role which would explain why Fortnite included the Agony character as a skin
Venom said he had a shared memory with other reality versions... so what if the same venom could live on through the piece he left in the MCU and be born again after attaching to a new host, aka spiderman, and what if there was an eddie brock in the mcu that was also tom hardy - and venom is able to share his alternate eddie memories with mcu eddie to help them bond into venom once more?
Here's my thoughts on how they could've written a venom trilogy set in its own universe similar to Deadpool before eventually connecting to the larger picture The origin movie could basically be the same, but with a stronger narrative and characters. Cut to maybe a year later there's been a series of murders eddie investgates that leads him to carnage, an evil spawn of venom that uses the hive mind to learn of knull and actually wants to release him to bring carnage and death to the universe, so venom has to stop that. Then venom 3 knull discovers the multiverse after the events of no way home and venoms symbiote splitting between Universes. So he seeks out venom the try and figure out how he traveled between worlds. Before he's captured though, he more multiversal shenanigans or whatever pull him into the mcu. He then seeks out spider man in agner for endangering the entire universe. Idk something along those lines. The entire trilogy really should've just lead up to knull and a fight between Spider-Man and venom. Would've been so much better actually
IDEA: Personally, I think they've set up Eddie to be part of Tom's potential new trilogy. (This would be if Eddie somehow gets into the MCU) We have an Eddie, who is completely down on his luck, he's lost his life, relationships, has no world to go back to, and his best friend. What if he somehow finds out that there is a Venom, his Venom, out there, and finds that Spider-Man has it. He knows who Spider-Man is, and he wants Venom back. When Spider-Man says no, Hardy could get upset pretty quickly, which would make him turn hateful towards Spider-Man. There could also be a conflict where Venom wants to stay to Spider-Man, but Eddie is able to take him back from Spider-Man wanting him gone and now they both want revenge on Spidey. Also, since Eddie has no job or home, and we know JJJ is shady and believes the crazy, he might hire Eddie because of Eddie needing a job and his past credentials. Peter could also start to work at the Bugle since he's going to college and needs money to pay his rent as well. (To add onto that, Eddie could've talked to Spider-Man before to get Venom, but Spider-Man said "no" and Eddie would go to JJJ to write about Spider-Man being bad, hence why he was hired in the first place.)
You didn't mention Michelle Williams character Anne not being in the movie which was also weird considering she was the female lead of the franchise. She wasn't even mentioned.
The vegas part was my favourite part tbh, pretty much just because of Mrs. Chen😂 I loved the scenes with the family too it reminded me weirdly of the movie Paul with Seth Rogen
The thing that bugged me the most that nobody is talking about is how awfully edited this movie is. It's not even a finished movie. The last 2 movies actually felt like a movie, but this one is just straight from point a to b like teleportation. It took me out like 10 times to the point were I couldn't even enjoy the action. The main goal is legit to lower the standard so low that you appreciate other mediocre films way more. They definitely achieved that goal
Saw it last night with my gf who loves marvel but isn’t a comic fan. Her favorite character is venom so let’s just say she loved the movie until the end and we left the theater with her angry lol
Casual fan here. I feel like that plane would’ve been fine. They usually can fly with one turbine down. What I don’t like is killing off every symboite as soon as you introduce them. Venom: The Last Dance is my favorite movie in the Venom Trilogy. Though it is weird that VENOM of all characters got a Movie Trilogy before WONDER WOMAN.
Completely agree! My least favorite part in the whole movie is Eddies Reaction to Venoms death. He just says “no…no..” but with zzzeerrrrooo emotion. You’d think after building their relationship up so much Eddie would be wayyy more amped up and intense when watching his best friend die. It is the most lackluster thing ever and I can’t stop thinking about how I wanted to see Tom Hardy get super emotional watching Venom Die

Spoiler: The ending was unfortunate as someone who enjoyed this version of Venom and Eddie, but hey who knows I mean if they can retcon the Spider-Man line from NWH for this film they definitely can retcon Venom’s ‘death’ I mean they technically did it before with Venom 1 and the ending where we thought he died alongside Riot. Or either/ or have that tiny bit of Venom from NWH (which I know was retconned to be the Sony bar) be the actual last bit of Hardy Venom now living in the MCU or smth 🤔 Heck I’ll even take Hardy being the voice for Venom in the MCU and a different actor plays the MCU version of Brock

My opinion on the Venom movies is just that I'll take what I can get. Would I prefer an actual *Venom* movie, goin against Spiderman and being an actual menace? Absolutely! But in the meantime, I can enjoy the stupidity of these ones for what little they're worth
I have a theory about the codex thing with the side characters, possibly due to the symbiotes having a first-time symbiosis whereas venom had connection with Eddie before he is killed.
One of my favorite parts was the credits 💯🔥 They should've added more of the venomized animals because it was cool to see ones like the penguin, the elephant and those turtles lmao

Here's my thoughts on how they could've written a venom trilogy set in its own universe similar to Deadpool before eventually connecting to the larger picture The origin movie could basically be the same, but with a stronger narrative and characters. Cut to maybe a year later there's been a series of murders eddie investgates that leads him to carnage, an evil spawn of venom that uses the hive mind to learn of knull and actually wants to release him to bring carnage and death to the universe, so venom has to stop that. Then venom 3 knull discovers the multiverse after the events of no way home and venoms symbiote splitting between Universes. So he seeks out venom the try and figure out how he traveled between worlds. Before he's captured though, he more multiversal shenanigans or whatever pull him into the mcu. He then seeks out spider man in agner for endangering the entire universe. Idk something along those lines. The entire trilogy really should've just lead up to knull and a fight between Spider-Man and venom. Would've been so much better actually
IDEA: Personally, I think they've set up Eddie to be part of Tom's potential new trilogy. (This would be if Eddie somehow gets into the MCU) We have an Eddie, who is completely down on his luck, he's lost his life, relationships, has no world to go back to, and his best friend. What if he somehow finds out that there is a Venom, his Venom, out there, and finds that Spider-Man has it. He knows who Spider-Man is, and he wants Venom back. When Spider-Man says no, Hardy could get upset pretty quickly, which would make him turn hateful towards Spider-Man. There could also be a conflict where Venom wants to stay to Spider-Man, but Eddie is able to take him back from Spider-Man wanting him gone and now they both want revenge on Spidey.
Also, since Eddie has no job or home, and we know JJJ is shady and believes the crazy, he might hire Eddie because of Eddie needing a job and his past credentials. Peter could also start to work at the Bugle since he's going to college and needs money to pay his rent as well.
(To add onto that, Eddie could've talked to Spider-Man before to get Venom, but Spider-Man said "no" and Eddie would go to JJJ to write about Spider-Man being bad, hence why he was hired in the first place.)
A venom trilogy without spiderman is stupid.
The family being there was necessary. Sometimes filler scenes are needed to feel immersed in the story.
I feel like there was a lot of insignificant characters and scenes I also think they could've done much better with this movie.

The vegas part was my favourite part tbh, pretty much just because of Mrs. Chen😂 I loved the scenes with the family too it reminded me weirdly of the movie Paul with Seth Rogen
The thing that bugged me the most that nobody is talking about is how awfully edited this movie is. It's not even a finished movie. The last 2 movies actually felt like a movie, but this one is just straight from point a to b like teleportation. It took me out like 10 times to the point were I couldn't even enjoy the action. The main goal is legit to lower the standard so low that you appreciate other mediocre films way more. They definitely achieved that goal

Saw it last night with my gf who loves marvel but isn’t a comic fan. Her favorite character is venom so let’s just say she loved the movie until the end and we left the theater with her angry lol
Casual fan here. I feel like that plane would’ve been fine. They usually can fly with one turbine down. What I don’t like is killing off every symboite as soon as you introduce them. Then the ending that goes nowhere. Im just ready to see where that drip of venom leads to in the main marvel universe

Completely agree! My least favorite part in the whole movie is Eddies Reaction to Venoms death. He just says “no…no..” but with zzzeerrrrooo emotion. You’d think after building their relationship up so much Eddie would be wayyy more amped up and intense when watching his best friend die. It is the most lackluster thing ever and I can’t stop thinking about how I wanted to see Tom Hardy get super emotional watching Venom Die

The whole trilogy is Ight. There’s some parallel universe out there where Sony made 3 amazing fan service Venom movies, just sucks in our universe we get this trilogy. Still bummed out about Carnage but was excited for Detective Mulligans Toxin; again bummed out
Venom had some nice moments, like thanking the kid for the chocolate, Eddie honoring him going to the 🗽.

The ending was unfortunate as someone who enjoyed this version of Venom and Eddie, but hey who knows I mean if they can retcon the Spider-Man line from NWH for this film they definitely can retcon Venom’s ‘death’ I mean they technically did it before with Venom 1 and the ending where we thought he died alongside Riot.
Or either/ or have that tiny bit of Venom from NWH (which I know was retconned to be the Sony bar) be the actual last bit of Hardy Venom now living in the MCU or smth 🤔
Heck I’ll even take Hardy being the voice for Venom in the MCU and a different actor plays the MCU version of Brock

My opinion on the Venom movies is just that I'll take what I can get. Would I prefer an actual *Venom* movie, goin against Spiderman and being an actual menace? Absolutely! But in the meantime, I can enjoy the stupidity of these ones for what little they're worth
I have a theory about the codex thing with the side characters, possibly due to the symbiotes having a first-time symbiosis whereas venom had connection with Eddie before he is killed.
