A tip for helping clear a bitter nests, after you make a line of turrets, run up and throw down a turret line (5 or more) deep in the nest itself and then select your ammo from the hotbar. Once selected, hold Z and mouse over them (back and forth) to feed them a bunch of ammo. Takes a little practice to drop ammo all over the ground but once you have it down, it will GREATLY speed up nest clearing. I also suggest some fish on your hotbar too, as you can use them to heal you during the process. Nice video!
After the skyrim video I thought you're channel has to be huge and to my suprise it was not Come back to watch this one and found it just as entertaining, if not more Subscribed immediately, keep up the amazing content
You can pick things up from off the ground (Or from off belts) by holding the F key. You should NOT be hand crafting dozens and dozens of assemblers at this stage of the game. Make a Mall. IE set up some assemblers and feed the basic resources into them, then use them to craft assemblers, belts, inserters and so on and put them in boxes so you can just grab them. Hand crafting is slow and your inventory is still pretty small. Plus, once you get robots, you'll want all your inventory space for things they can build. To clear biter nests much easier, keep moving your turret line up. You get close and just shoot with your gun, that's really slow and wasteful. Slap down a few turrets every time you get closer and shove some ammo into them, they'll mow the entire nest down in seconds, especially with red ammo. You can hold down left click and mouse over assemblers and furnaces with for example tier 2 assemblers and steel furnaces to upgrade them, as well as just place them. It's a lot faster than clicking one by one. This works for inserters too, but usually you need to be more selective otherwise you just place a solid line of them. With power poles, this function is even smarter. If you click and hold and drag a power pole, it'll extend to the maximum length the wire can go and then place it. However if you need to power machines, the power poles will detect something needs power and will place itself, so if you just drag power poles along a line of inserters you need powered, it will be placed in a way that all the inserters get power. Efficiency modules are kinda trash, nobody uses them. Just make more power, it's way easier, especially as you get into the later game where you can just stamp down blocks of solar panels and accumulators. Speed and production are better, because they make more stuff faster. Oh, and one water pump can supply 20 boilers, and each boiler can power 2 steam engines. So 20 boilers, 40 engines. You can increase the size of the concrete/Landfill placement area, go into controls and click the search icon (you can search for the keybinds btw) and just type "area" and I suggest you set the controls to control plus mouse wheel, it's very convenient. You can quickly cover a large area in concrete. Side note, build more concrete.
efficiency modules are only trash on normal settings. On death world or any settings with harder biters, they are an absolute life savers, since mining drills are the second highest polluter next to steam power. Solar panels and efficiency mining drills make so much easier if biters are an issue.
I gotta say, watching this made me feel better about how bad I am at this game. Makes me feel less alone haha. I thought everyone who played this were pros. Glad there’s other nooby players. That being said, you’re still better than me 😂
did u feed the furnaces all by hand with coal? because I don't see how they get fuel. Just a tip for u or anyone trying to figure out how to do furnace arrays. 48 stonefurnaces (24 on either side) will get u 1 fully compressed lane of iron- or copper-plates. Place a splitter and let coal from one side and iron/copper from the other. This way the splitter will sort coal on the right side of the belt and the iron/copper on the other side. Great quality content, rare to see someone put so much effort in the videos and still under 10k subs. Hope that changes and at least 1 sub more now :)
Those large amounts of items dropped on the floor is caused by - Queue crafting - Fill inventory - Cancel crafting - It tries to put them back in your inventory, fails, and puts them on the floor (20mins in if you did work it out later) Edit: only 4 minutes later did you work it out :d
Homie....bro.....dawg.... 200 days in factorio???? Maybe please u got far idk the game but I'd love to see the progress you'd make in. 200 days either continue from the 100 or start new with your newly gained knowledge just an idea ik I'd watch it bit do what you feel best freind
These are really quite cool maybe u could try 100 days in terraria or some fallout game I hope it won't take u too long to make a new one and if your busy with one rn any chance u could tell us what it is or is it a secret?
don't be put down by the lack of views compared to your first success, it normally takes youtubers years of determination and multiple accounts to get where they are, as your 250th subscriber sorry for being late. Also if you need inspiration, don't be afraid to copy a bit of other peoples ideas, like poison or ice only
Man, Tizzy, i gotta say, ur content is highly underrated DESERVES more views.
Thanks! Im new here. These videos are getting more views than I thought they would get
with 7 videos and 30k subs its pretty safe to say his channel is growing faster than 99.7% of earning tubers
