I use Rogaine and have the best way to apply - through trial and error - buy a metal demitasse cup and saucer and keep t in the freezer. When you take it out to apply the Minoxidil, put the plastic can cap inside the cup. When you spray the foam, it will blow up higher in the cap and you will find the very last of the foam will be as firm as the first. Easy and 100 percent of the time, the foam will stay firm and if you're like me, you'll use less to cover your target areas.

I’ve been on minoxidil and finasteride for 1 whole month now and there’s a couple things I’ve noticed.
Context: I’m 24, been receding and thinning alittle forclike the last 2 years and my hairline has gone back like an inch only and I don’t have a bald spot but I have overall , minor thinning.
So back to what I’ve observed.
First of all, my baby hair at the corner of my hairline are literally sprouting again and it’s so cool. They’re still really small but they’re coming back and it’s so cool to see it happen. Like a plant you have growing on your window. It’s just like sprouting so little but I know within 6 months / a year it’ll be even great.
Second of all, the recommended dose of minoxidil has been really flawed in MY PERSPECTIVE. I have like medium sized hair, like half an inch shorter than the guy in this video, and I found that using a half cap full twice a day is just not enough. Cause that’s what it says on the bottle. Using a half cap full is not good for people with any hair at all because so much of the minoxidil foam get stuck in the hair strands as you’re trying to press it over your head and I worry that a lot of it isn’t even reaching my scalp. And I don’t even have that long of hair!!! But I guess that’s the gimmick right? They know minoxidil works, they know minoxidil promotes really healthy blood flow. Minoxidil IS an answer. It is and in order to make money off a product that really works, they have to make it so that the customer consumes more and therefore they charge alot knowing youll use more than they say you need. I Use about a cap full once when I wake up and then again late at night when I get home from work
I’ve been using HIMS brand finasteride and minoxidil but I cancelled my subscription for minoxidil since it’s like $70 for a 3 month supply. I’d rather do the Kirkland 6 pack on Amazon for like $83 I think it was? It’s just much more financially feasible and I’m not worried about the branding. The branding is just the branding. So long as it’s 5% minoxidil you should be fine.
Overall? I think this shit works. I’m pretty optimistic about the future of my results. The way I apply minoxidil is I apply the foam in like penny sized bubbles all around my scalp, giving most focus on the crown and my hairline. And then I first spread it all around with my fingers and very quickly after I mix it with my fingers, I scrub vigorously with the exact massager from this video. The massager is the best thing ever. It’s really literally good for opening up capillaries and letting minoxidil absorbed more. You can tell it’s good for you when you’re done and you feel a warpy feeling of like blood rushing throughout your scalp.
Two takeaways however if anybody even gives a shit. I have been experiencing both brain fog and headaches. These are really strange headaches though. They’re not the typical like…. Headaches I get. It feels different. Usually my headaches and migraines are met with a throbbing of my head and neck veins when I breathe and move a lot. These, from minoxidil, feel like someone’s literally holding to fingers up against both my temples and mildly squeezing. It’s interesting. NOTHING DRASTIC, it only comes and goes every now and again and lasts like 40 seconds but it’s interesting for sure. I’m sure it’ll go away with time

I like the part where you mention you scrub the solution in hard, and to not care about making hairs fall out, cause they’re going to fall out regardless. That’s what worries me the most. Is scrubbing in the solution hard to make it effective, but IN DOING SO, making already weak hairs forcefully fall out due to force. I shouldn’t worry about that momentary scare because I’m the long term, all that blood flow youre creating with minoxidil will compensate for momentary loss of weak hairs you see falling out

Here’s a rogaine hack, especially for people with long hair.
    1. Places the foam into the cap
    2. Using any type of heat to melt the foam in the cap making it into a liquid.
    3. Use a 1m bayster found on the regular liquid minoxidil
And there you go, you just made liquid minoxidil that dries in 20 minutes, no greasy, and can be applied directly to scalp with baster applicator. This is amazing for guys with long hair

    • @vunnamnithin9555

    • @edgardelgado8753
      @edgardelgado8753 4 роки тому

rocky9555 I’m assuming you’ve never tried liquid minoxidil if your asking that question. 1 it’s greasy, like putting oil to your head, 2. It dries in 3-4 hrs just horrible and inconvenient. 3 it has a ingredient that for some causes nasty side effects. The foam is just way better because he doesn’t do any of that and dries in 20 mins, but it hard to put it on the scalp, especially if you have long hair it sometimes gets stuck in hair. And you NEED minoxidil on scalp not head.

Yeah this is good advice, the name of the game in hairloss is try and get away with doing the less amount of therapies.
When people notice hairloss they usually panic and jump straight into finastride, ketoconazole, minoxidil, dermarolling, biotin vitamins.hairloss consumes their life’s they become frustrated and aren’t consistent. All the while a simple ketoconazole shampoo and minoxidil could’ve gotten them the same results. Now I can’t stress this enough the Earlier you start therapy the better results!!

I apply it in the evenings around 4 to 5. I wet my head with just water, let it dry and apply it on. That way I can easily let it dry, take its due course action. By the time I hit the bed it dries up, and in the mornings I can style my hair without it getting all greasy and oily.

Would anybody reccomend using wax to style my hair after using this product? I do enjoy styling my hair, but I've grown concern because I'd have to use this once-twice a day & I wouldn't want the wax to conflict with this product. Any suggestions? I've thought about using an Aloe Vera based gel instead, but Gel's v.s. Wax usually doesn't style my hair as nicely as I'd like. I'm def going to use this product, but seriously, any suggestions? I also wash my hair 3 times a week Mon,Wed, & Friday. Than I take a break on Sunday to use a DermaPen on my head & wouldn't use Minoxidil @ all or maybe early in the AM once

I need a hand, lm new using Rogaine foam, I got a 3 months treatment, I’m on the first can, and the first two weeks the foam was coming out normal, but now seems like doesn’t have enough pressure to shot the foam and all it come out is the liquid. I been applying this straight to my head, shooting little by little and being careful to not use more that the cap as the instructions say. Pls guys let me know if I’m doing something wrong 😑 or if this is normal thing to happen, but I’m confused 🤷🏽‍♂️ because it should be ok

  • @jfkif69

KVON, this video is great! Please answer this though: I have a huge problem using foam. It takes me like 15 minutes for every application because I'm doing parts in all 3 thinning areas and I rub it with my fingers but I'm so afraid that it gets into the hair and not the scalp that I'm rubbing it for so long my hands hurt. It spend way too much time for this. So the question is have you been applying it the exact way you do in the video with the brush since the beginning? Because I really need to stop doing it the way I do. Your way looks far less time consuming and more convenient than mine. Thanks in advance!
