Manila Hotel is one, if not the oldest first class hotel in the country. They kept their prestige for years. It an old hotel though. I guess thats the charm.

Yes, Sol was correct, you could ask for more if you like. i think what the crew and hotel was trying to avoid is wasting food because many people grab so much food and then not finishing them. You could also go for second serving if you feel you could eat more. Saying Php4K was not worth it because of the serving size is not fair. Just saying, not mad or anything at Luna btw ✌🏼😊

Filling your own plate was the normal practice. The partition started during Covid and they never removed them. That's why we haven't been back there. Spiral is now doing the same thing. I was surprised when I ate there last week.
In future episodes, hope to see Flores De Mayo or Santacruzan which is celebrating this month of May every year. Malls also do the Santacruzan. Some of the ladies participating in the said celebration were Filipina beauty queens or celebrities or ordinary girls or even gays but the problem is it is also start of the rainy season in The Philippines also the month of May.

This particular buffet is somehow still operating under pandemic protocols… usually the customers can control pick and choose as much food as they want like any other normal buffet in the world… somehow this restaurant buffet is still operating under a pandemic protocol format… maybe it was uplifted and this restaurant just chooses to continue to operate that way, or they are waiting for some kind of clearance from the top management or government officials to go back to the way it was… but, yeah! …Sol & Lunas way of how a buffet operates in the Dominican Republic is the same way how The Philippines usually does it as well… Just somehow this particular buffet is still under a pandemic protocol format on how customers would receive their food.

Its a buffet… your 4k will be worth it if you have to eat everything… as in everything… unlimited.. that’s why its called buffet.. but if you just eat little .. yes you can say its not worth it..

Meron pong ambassador ang Dominican Republic dito. Ambassador Jaime Francisco Rodriguez. NON-RESIDENT ambassador, meaning hindi sya naka-based sa Philippines. Sya rin ang Ambassador to Vietnam kung sana sya naka-based. Nangyayari po ang ganito kapag maliit lang ang percentage ng nationals sa ibang bansa, kaya sa neighboring country sila nag-ooffice.
