- With 19 characters available in just its closed alpha state, Marvel Rivals already offers players plenty of variability, but us fans always want to know what’s next. So, if you’re just like me and cannot wait, I have some good news, because not only has the code for 20 planned heroes leaked, but we also have some substantial information on how many of these characters will actually look and play. Not to mention, we have some rumored info on heroes you’ll probably want to hear more about.

Aside from the datamined characters, I am really hoping they add Nightcrawler, Cyclops, and Jean.

Carnage over nightcrawler any day.
Compared to Overwatch, Marvel Rivals is in the unique position of already having a large roster of characters to choose from instead of having to build a character from scratch. On top of that, people are already familiar and attached to some of these Marvel heroes which is a plus
So Marvel Rivals having a very large roster doesn't surprise me, the only issues I could see would be a lot of balance changes and possibly a bloated cast
Balance problem will be when they release Thanos, in this company MOBA Thanos could collect the stones, snap his fingers and half the enemy team was gone...

Im loving what im seeing but theres one thing i really want. Cyclops needs to be in there and he NEEDS to have a mobility option where he aims at the ground and shoots and the force throws him up and forwards.🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

They might not be A listers but Cloak and Dagger would be a great combo. Them being one character is weird but could work i guess.

Here's an cool idea. If this game becomes big enough. And it hosts a anniversary event during the event it should have the players vote on what charater they want to see next.

there was this datamined leak recently with Storm's in-match interaction phrase, referring Jean, so she is gonna be a playable character
I hope it doesn't take them too long to come out with characters. I think a big strength of the game could be it's big roster given how many options they have but because people aren't all around marvel fans, like every single series, they could go a long time without coming out with a character the consumer feels obligated to buy if that makes sense.
Hope they release character's more than one at a time.

I love the designs, especially the Human Torch and presumably the rest of the FF, it reminds me of the worlds greatest heroes show from the 2000s.
i do hope that cyclops, jean, nightcrawler, quicksilver, gambit, rogue, iceman, deadpool, daredevil, ant-man and ghost rider can make it to the game

I really want Beast! He has so much potential for such a fun, acrobatic, and bouncy moveset and we never get games that take advantage of it.
I hope we get She-Hulk and more villains like Moleman (the FF are here so why not? Also he could be like OW Venture but with the use of minion moloids), Absorbing Man or even Modok

I would've preferred Lin Lie as Sword Master and have Danny play as Iron-Fist. I think Lin Lie playing Iron Fist would mean we lose out on Sword Master which is a cool ancient magical swordsman character.

Ill love to see some ethernals and inhumans like blackbolt and medusa would be sick also daredevil and luck cage and colossus could be great
Mystique would be a cool hero, and maybe give hee some cool weapons and movement and then have her ultimate switch to a different hero for a period of time, similar to echo
Hyperion Sentry Exodus or Blue Marvel would be sick.

Very happy with the list but i feel like we need more villains. There are very few and Villains are cooler anyways, would appreciate seeing Dr. Doom, MODOK, any spiderman villains (some might just be re-skins), thanos and many more
