Watched this with a smile on my face throughout because I can feel your joy! If only I can also do that in my country!
Yeah I don't think it was highly recommended in Australia to be honest.
If you have an OBD11 you can program the bi-modal exhaust, in the superb 206, to stay constantly open. Or if you don’t have an ODB11, turn the car on, have someone sit in the car and put it into drive and change to sports mode. While they’re there with foot on the break and hand break on, reach up and unplug the little plug on the side of each muffler. You need to unplug the plugs while the little flap is open so the motor inside the exhaust stays open. Both ways WON’T cause any fault lights etc. just give you a slight bit of extra exhaust note all the time. Take a few seconds to do and definitely better. Also throw in an air intake, inlet elbow and turbo muffler delete for subtle turbo noise without sounding like a teenager. Great cars, I hope you enjoy as much as I do mine!
There is easier way, just put the car in sport mode and shut off engine in D/S gearbox, so the flaps are open and engine off. Then remove "Flaps installed" bit from long coding last byte in 01 engine unit and you are done.
This sounds so good 😂 I can understand your smile and constant gunning it
So my problem with all that straight piped exhaust system is when you drive on the autobahn you get such a headache.
I mean it sounds greate but when you drive alot you will get annoyed very fast. I like it when its not that loud but it also sucks when its too quiet.
That's where valves help. The RS3 does a pretty great job of avoiding drone.
This is Australia.....what’s an autobahn? :)
I mean autobahn translates to highway. We have those.
@@KoryNunn Yeah, nah. Comparing our highways with bad surfaces and 110 km limits to Germany's autobahns is a bad call. Even driven on an Autobahn? The only place where really fast cars actually make sense...
@@dimsoneill what has that got to do with exhaust drone on a highway?
Great vid, im gonna try this on my dads superb hehe
I absolutely condone this.
Sound very nice and loud. Well it's pretty loud for a Skoda.
I like how people say “for a skoda” and don’t take this as hate but it’s literally VW.
It's an Audi engine and drivetrain, from the S3.
@@KoryNunn and Audi is owned by VW so there is my point.
Good ol DSG farts!
Yes we Love Skoda, got the Kodiaq sportline, superb sportline and Octavia RS245
Teddy damn
Yessss i love to drive it everydayy🔥
I have the same car. I had some leaks on that exhaust joint, so when dealing with that I tried the same mod. Man that was stupidly loud 😂 It even pops when shifting up before rev limiter 😂
Wait why does this sound good ? 😂
Skoda uses a lot of Audi and Volkswagen parts since they’re owned by the same company.
Please do an apr stage 2 map with pops and bangs .
I don't think my wife would be happy about that to hers, but I've basically done that to my RS3: ua-cam.com/video/QPaNt11OVR8/v-deo.html

It sounds like what it is......a car with f##ked exhaust. You wasted your time Bro....lol!
Ps. Invest in some axle stands.
