He had a sense of humor about himself at the time and got a lot more political than just being about getting fucked up and hating everything. If you haven't heard of WDU I'm sure you'd like pretty much everything Pat did before he retired and went off the grid. His oldest project Johnny Hobo and the Freight Trains is worth a listen, too. The New Mexico song off of Love Songs for the Apocalypse is a classic.
