I HAVE to celebrate this woman and this entire experience. Not only did she take a serious fall, but she got back up, sang that song IN ITS ORIGNAL KEY and tore that place up!!!!!!!! My heart breaks every time I see this. But like the true performer that she is. She got back up. & who can laugh at a person for getting back up after they fall down. I'm also glad her sons were there for her. ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

Sometimes I think we forget how much our artists sacrifice for their public and their craft. This woman put on a great performance for her fans in this video. She has a beautiful talent, a beautiful heart, and a beautiful soul. And she indeed showed it in this performance.

being a good singer and going out of a stage and sounding good and not making mistakes is a billion times harder than being an actor in a controlled setting.
That is true strength and to be able to witness it on UA-cam is inspiring; being there live would have given me extra inspiration for two years or more.

This brought me to tears and reminded me of a time when I was really sick but felt the show must go on so I performed. In the middle of the song I left the front line and by the time I got to the back of the stage I passed out. I got myself together and returned shortly after to finish the show sitting down on the edge of the stage. I think about stars that have medical emergencies or even die on stage and how devastating it must be to the fans. That's my biggest fear. Resiliency is definitely a word to describe Deniece's response to falling off the stage. An amazing performer!!! In response to the persons comparing how she sounds now, as to how she sounded many years ago, do you realize that professional vocalists normally lose their vocal abilities and ranges as they age. Most true vocalists are wondering how she is still able to sing most of her songs from long ago. Put a young athlete with a senior athlete and have them compete. Disrespect is sometimes not realized until someone points it out or you experience it for yourself. God Bless!!!
