    The combination of Tirunelveli and Tanjore has produced some great receipts too. The Kerala input adds to it. I don’t understand how people think it is boring to be a vegetarian. For the non veg there will never be a burst of flavours like in veg,instead of smothering it in onion garlic tomato, ginger

    Never knew that a gravy without onions, tomatoes and garlic would taste this great, tried this today and was very yummy, and everyone on my home liked it, thanks for sharing such an amazing recipe 🙏🏼

      I totally agree! Indian cooking today has degenerated into tomato onion garlic ginger coriander that my helper feels lost if any of these ingredients are missing.
      Thakkali illamal Rasam eppidi! Sambarkku kothumalli illaye! Sambarkku thakkali podavendaama, yemma?

      My in-laws are. From Trichur; they add a little grated coconut too and call it pulingari! Naturally urad dal is cut out and kadalaparuppu is reduced
      I interpret it as sambarcminus cooked dal

    we are orthodox Brahmans Never use that
    onions, and garlic , for us its a wonderful recipe. even with out tomato or coconut or any nuts or milk would taste this great,
    my wife tried this today and was very tasty .Dhevahmrutham and everyone on my home liked it,

    Hello. I started following your channel very recently. My mom's father's side are Mayavaram... But we are now settled in France (after my marriage) happy to hear namalava language...     We are just 2 here in the house. I was living with my in-laws for 30 yrs. They are gone now. My children are away in US AND GERMANY with their families. My In-laws were from Tanjore. So , so many varieties I used to cook in large quantities. Now just cooking for 2 n that too my husband likes selected few dishes n vegetables. Oh! How I miss those days. I just don't miss your episodes n get little satisfaction from watching it.

    Rakesh and mom, made the chakkravalli kozhambu, Mysore Rasam using your recipes. Loved the authenticity of the dish. Felt like heaven ❤️❤️💙💙. Am planning to cook recipes with fresh ground podis. I ran out of molaga podi stock and I will not be able to grind it in the machine for another couple of weeks. IF YOU COULD POST TAMBARM RECIPES.. I WOULD LOVE TO FOLLOW AND COOK...
