Watching this at half speed almost makes the lady appear life-sized.
AWESOME!
Thanks!
Nice flying! I have the same model. I hope to get out today to do some testing with the mechanics. I switched to a different FBL, so I have the mechanics mounted on a test platform to make sure everything is dialed-in close enough before everything goes back into the fuse.
That's great! It's a great flier.
Super fun to watch!
Very nice flight. Thank you for letting us listen to the helicopter rather than that stupid theme song. Well done!
STUPID THEME SONG!!!!! :0 ua-cam.com/video/SfyhL-pFFMw/v-deo.html
Nice flying
Great flying I have the Roban Airwolf myself and added more detail to it it looks more amazing now 👍
I would be interested in seeing those details. I added afterburner lights to the turbos but I messed up the controller so there weren't working for this video. I am waiting for a replacement controller.
Have you got a email address so I can send you some photos.
Let me know when you have the afterburners working, I think a sound module would be great!
Great job, she looks amazing.
Thank you
Great flying, Did you put any weight in the nose also did you paint your main rotor blades?
Nope, no weight added. I did not paint the blades.
What is your throttle at 75% 100%? Are you using idle up mode?
I am using a castle esc in governor mode. I set the motor specs and gear ratio in the programming. Then tell it what headspeeds I want and it tells me what flat curve to set. The percentage of the curve doesn't matter in that mode because it is just telling the esc which of my headspeeds I want. This video was all at 1450 rpm.
I love the way it came off of the ground and you say you're using to 5500 batteries I have 6000 in mine and it's feeling tail heavy did you have to add any nose weight , I have not had it in the air yet!
No, I didn't add any weight to the nose. I am using a 3S 2200 for a rx battery. One thing is the way this helicopter is designed it hovers nose high or slightly tail low since the mechanic are tilted forward. One thing that help mine a lot was I am able to shut off the stabilization on the cyclic to check the neutral position of the swashplate. Mine would pitch up dramatically and I adjusted the linkages to get a more level swash. The swash movement is so small on this helicopter even a small amount off level can be bad. Even though I had the gyr on for the cyclic I noticed a pitch tendency in turns. Once I got it to hover hands off without stabilization that tendency was gone.
@@pilot482 Thanks for the 411 , I need all I can get !
@@roachcoachhelis6387 anytime. I am happy to help.
Would you say the airwolf with 2 blades sounds better than md500 with 5 blades?
Each have a good sound. They are both different but sound good in their own way.
I’m just wondering if you are using a BavarianDEMON AXON?
Nope. Using a Futaba CGY755 with a R7008SB rx.
Thank you for your reply
Would you be so kind to show me were you mounted it?
What kinds of main motor ?
Scorpion 4035 560kv
