Great review. Once you go oled you will never want to go back. The legion slim 5 oled blew me away and changed my opinions and thoughts on all laptops. I honestly think Lenovo is putting out the best quality right now out any other laptop manufacture. It’s also awesome to see the ThinkPad line still alive. My first ever laptop was an old ibm thinkpad with a pentium 1 lol.

Thank you for the review. I'm just wondering if OLED has any downsides? Do you find the battery life of the OLED screen version, shorter than IPS screen versions (above 10 hours)? Also, how do you find it on your eyes (Some say it is less blue light and better for eyes, while others say OLED makes eyes more tired)?

As a non-techie (who lives in a cave) your Thinkpad videos have been my main intro to the brand and this famous line. The reliability was the main draw for me but the more I learn the more I like, especially the enhanced repairability of the new Gen 5 T14 in partnership with iFixit.

PWM keeps me thinking whether I should go for an OLED. The beautiful colors and deep blacks and lack of backlight bleeding are all nice, but of what use if the low-light vibration causes eye strain after a couple of hours.

Those are such different systems especially because Mac looks run Mac OS. macOS can be nice, as it’s simplistic and steam light, but at the same time you can also be extremely limiting depending on what software you need to personally I can’t even run my software and Mac OS
If you’re looking for something that will offer Mac like design and battery life, your battery off looking for the slim seven, or yoga lineup from Lenovo. With AMD
Or if this 15 inch size is OK you can look at the Lenovo slim 7i or a addition with the new lunar lake chip. As it will offer incredibly good battery life. I have a review on it recently

The T14 gen 4 and P14s gen 4 use the same panels between the two lines, however the panels are sourced from different manufacturers (ex. CSOT, AUO, etc.) but they are all interchangeable, i.e. - the panels used in the T14 can be used in the P14s and vice versa. I have done many panel swaps in that regard.

There are several reasons you may prefer a T14 over T14s such as better thermals due to slightly thicker chassis, an rj-45 jack and easily swappable keyboard. However to your point, the T14s offers a more premium feel and build quality due to the materials used, so there's always trade-offs.
