    I used to own a fluorescent pink Chaser S. I was intrigued to see a bright pink Sub70 on your video. Could you tell me who makes it please?

      The trike was made by MK engineering sadly no longer made although you could possibly bend his arm to make you one ,not sure . The wing is a avian rio t. Made by avian hang gliders in the peak district.

    Some nice flying there, looks fun! Those power lines give me the fear, bet they are further away than they look though. Someone ordered one in bright pink? Wont be many of those around!

      those power lines are a tad too close really they certainly keep ya brain engaged ? , yeah not seen another pink trike the new wing that,s going on top is also bright pink .

    Am I correct thinking one of those trikes has GRP rod (fiberglass) wheel legs...Can you confirm?
    I am toying with the idea myself.

      7075 grade aluminium

      Ah, cheers for that.
      At 0:31the trike behind the pink trike looks to have fully cantilever legs with more flex than 7075 could take and I can't see any support struts/wires, so they do look like GRP.
      My mistake.

      @pimplequeen2 the paramotor guys use fiberglass rods .

      I built a paramtor trike with GRP rods and they soak up a good deal of rough terrain nicely, but I am worried the extra 26kg weight of a wing will cause me problems on the hang glider trike I am building.
      Think I am going to have find out the hard way or do a couple of pull tests.

      @pimplequeen2 I not sure if there alot of weight difference between the alloy and fibre glass rods guess you'd need to weigh both up .

    What was the last wing you flew with the VG Ridge?

    • @TheRidgehog
      @TheRidgehog  2 роки тому +1

      The rio fly lovely wing but actually the last wing i flew but not showing on the video because of a flat battery on the gopro was the grif zoe , now that was nice very light bar pressure incredibly easy to pull extra speed & roll control is effortlessly.

    What are the round things on your control bar? Weights?

    • @TheRidgehog
      @TheRidgehog  2 роки тому

      Small wheels they keep the control bar off the muddy ground and help whilst rigging the wing
