    Beautiful memories of the ferry to Gigha with my wife and cycling the island and enjoying the beaches and pub. Wonderful atmosphere. The gardens there are lovely too and the South end pier. Wonderful. Remembering Caroline forever ❤

As a new subscriber, I didn't really know how fantastic the islands are from altitude. These videos are very much the money shots. • @trev.lee.adventure
      @trev.lee.adventure  5 місяців тому +1

      Generally when over water I fly fairly high. With no engine I would lose around 850 feet per minute so I work on 1000 per minute. So if i'm at 4000 feet I have 4 minutes to make a mayday call giving my position and how many people on board. I would position for an into wind landing on the water as slow as I can fly and as close to land or a boat as possible. During the last minute I would unplug anything that might stop me getting out of the aircraft and make sure my seat belt buckle is clear and I can get to it once stopped. Once stopped I will ditch my helmet undo my seat belt and get clear of the aircraft before inflating my life vest and activating my PLB (self inflating life vests are not advised). I run this scenario through my head and visualize it regularly. I am also a technical mixed gas diver. My mindset has been developed from diving. Panicking is not in the rule book. IT JUST WASTES TIME!!
