I Love Jeff Glovers personality. Great technique as well. I will try this. In addition, I like how he turned and gave us a better camera angle of the move. I wish more instructors would film their techniques at all different angles or at the very least do what Jeff did in this video. Great content!!
Thank you Jeff ! I have been trying to do this without the part about getting the foot out from under his leg, and I have been failing . Also, I like how you are pivoting around him with your head as your pivot point
Wow thanks for that detail on unhooking the leg, then standing up. I always got stuck trying this pass for a while, threatening cradles and just trying to pop my leg out.
What is there to keep him from keeping the knee shield in as you pass? There is nothing blocking the top knee from following you as you go around the side.
Does this work if the guy on the bottom is actually trying to hold half guard? The guys bottom foot was like a dead fish; it should be active with the toes hooking round the shin.
There’s a technique to deal with that, this is simply 1 option for when they aren’t locking their feet. He could be there for hours talking about how to beat the knee shield. Check Lachlan Giles out his UA-cam vids are priceless.
Watch that cuff that came between his leg...a savvy bottom guy will grab the cuff of the arm woven thru the legs and lasso that arm....and a good lasso is a BITCH to get free from...best,
I kept months trying to figure out how to get out of the shield. Great and clear explanation. Thank you guys!
Probably one of the most simple, yet effective guard passes. Good tech. Thank you Jeff!

Great explanation. Also loved the quick little nap Pete the Greek took during the explanation :)
Thanks Jeff this guard has been giving me trouble forever. As a blue belt I should have looked up your instructionals a long time ago.

Will give this a go. Cheers Jeff!

I thought this was guna be this other pass I dont like but I'm glad I kept watching that was awsome
Different from what I've been thought. Good variation.
Thank you, Jeffy Glover. I will use this knowledge for evil.

Yea I tried with someone resisting on foot. Doesn’t work
Dude. I knee shield all the time. I’m so new that’s all I know, instinctively. Thank you for showing me a way around my weakness!!
White belt question here, how do you get past his frame in order to plant your head?
I love how this guys Kimono yells: "fuck he never wore a fitting kimono before".
So the problem I have when doing this. My other arm is exposed to kimura. What should I do with that arm so I don’t get caught?
Jeff is the best

Beautiful 🤩🤩
His feet are never locked though. How does this break the lock?
