It's stupid if you think about it. Even for Ford, why in the Fvk would a major automobile manufacturer go to Italy to design and build a car body.
The Italian car body's had nothing to do with winning LeMans.
Ford was really only interested in buying Ferrari, to kill it / make it go away.
I don't blame Zora for squashing it, GM already had a better car.

Truth is Shelby was just as much a hack as HF,III was.
