Sailor Mini-Moon was known as Chibi usa in the original Japanese version. And yes, Justin Stewart from Turbo: A Power Rangers movie and Power Rangers Turbo was 12 years old when he took over for Rocky Desantos.
This is the first video of yours I see and from this video, you got some refined taste. Started in Tokyo 2 months ago and worked my way down. This is actually my last night here. Today I squeezed in a trip to Mandarake Fukuoka for a lot of Touhou CDs. Bought too much to list but the highlights for me are: Dragon Quest V, Burning Paper(GBC), Castlevania Legends, Tokimeki Memorial(PSX), Sakura Taisen(GBC), Lunar(Sega CD), and Time Hollow(NDS). Man looking at your channel, you're a damn veteran. Crazy how I never found this channel.
You got me interested in goemon 2, popful mail and the scrolling sailor moon fighting game. Maybe future purchases. When I was in japan in August I couldn't find retro gaming camp I went to it's position on the map but found a furniture store instead. Thought it closed and thought nothing more of it. And here we are it's still about.
Final Fight Guy got expensive fast. Used to see it for like 4000 yen. And I tried, but never got into Super R-Type, actually. R-Type III is incredible, however!
15:10 Doh stands for Dominate Over Hour and it is the main boss in the Arkanoid series. I really like the series but they are hard to play without a paddle controller.
I'm always amazed by the quality and price of Japanese retro games. I've never bought a snes game in the UK where the box didn't look like it had been eaten by someone's dog.
Its always wild seeing shops in Tokyo. I moved to Japan 8 years ago and live in Kansai and prices here are insanely cheap and always have been. Seeing that chrono trigger hurt tho. I never pay more than 800 yen for that CIB. I used to buy tons of them bc the pack of cards inside is worth way more than the game. Can easily sell the pack of cards for 10k yen or more. its the same in my area for almost all ps, ps2, DC, saturn, famicom, super famicom, GB, GBA etc Never paid more than 1k yen for CIB. The only acception to that was a CIB copy of terranigma and that was 3k yen and Castlevania sotn was also 3k yen. which I was fine with bc Needed them for the collection I didn't see you pick it up but guessing from other vids from tokyo that mario RPG is prob in the 4-5k yen range over there but still 800 yen here CIB. The final fight guy also here 3600 yen. You get the idea. I understand if you live in Tokyo and if you are fine with the prices but as for people coming here to visit japan I always say tokyo is the last place you wanna be buying games or cards and of course any famous shops or tourist area is always a terrible idea.
@@ericng5707 Yeah I feel you there. Some people get mad at me bc I won't tell them the shops I go to in my area and its the same reason I don't tell them. I'm all about helping but I'm not going to tell people where I get stuff in my area or I wouldn't have been able to do this for so long
always down for some SFC game hunting! I might be overdue for another pickup for it. so this will definitely give me some ideas! shoutout to jikkyou oshaberi parodius I just picked that one up on saturn, easily my favorite in the series!
Been doing it for quite a while now, but I guess it depends on the Hard Off. I have been trying to focus more on other types of videos recently though.
Love the Super Famicom complete in boxes. I just love seeing original artworks.😍🥰
Same, each box is a little work of art.
Nice. Here in the US we deal with crooks like DK Oldies.

Yeah, I've been at it for a while lol. First moved to Japan back in 2010 and started collecting games almost immediately.

Yeah, it's easy to overlook, it's kind of a hole in the wall on the main drag.
Really appreciate the gameplay shorts that go along with the hunt. As always, great work!
My pleasure. Thanks for watching!

Yeah, Super R-Type is one of those early SNES shooters, when they hadn't really figured out how to work around the less powerful processor.
15:10 Doh stands for Dominate Over Hour and it is the main boss in the Arkanoid series. I really like the series but they are hard to play without a paddle controller.
I had no idea, thanks!
Yeah, any Arkanoid or Breakout type game really needs a dial to be played properly.
I'm always amazed by the quality and price of Japanese retro games.
I've never bought a snes game in the UK where the box didn't look like it had been eaten by someone's dog.
True, it does seem like Japanese gamers generally took good care of their games back in the day.

It's not a MPG video until Jim says Ganbare Goemon
It does come up a lot, doesn't it?
@@MadPanicGaming Half tempted to do a super cut. Less than half.
It’s Thanksgiving and I’m here to give thanks to you for these great videos!
As usual, you're too kind.

Same, definitely my favorite Parodius game.
There's 5 super bomber man games
I can't come to Japan until late next year so I'm exchanging my Yens now 😅
Nice, planning ahead. 👍
I can hear doh sound
There are Super Famicom games I still want but the price just keeps going up. It's like collecting fine art 😄😄😄
Starting to feel that way.
You seem really bored with going to hardoffs.

@@MadPanicGaming I understand, just thought it was funny the sarcasm oozing out. “Oooh looky here an exciting copy of Mario3 “
