I went to Game 3 with my father; he and I had gone to Opening Day at Citi Field in 2009, when Wright hit a big early home run to tie the game, and hadn't gotten to go to a game together since. Here, Wright hit that go-ahead first inning homer and I just jumped around and smiled, held my dad's shoulders and said "He did it! HE did it!" and we didn't need to say anything more to appreciate how awesome it was. ...God, I wish that team had won it all.

That made me angry and sad. Wasn't he battling a back injury in the World Series too? They should always be thankful for everything he did, also thankful for even making it to the World Series, because even making it to the fall classic and not winning is a huge accomplishment.

Man the 2015 royals were just a beautiful scrappy baseball teams. Just a good solid team that did everything right without having anyone be the superstar or savior and not having to rely on the homerun to score. Great speed and great fundamentals with some great pitching in their bullpen, no one was gonna dent them that year.

Harvey’s ego ? He poured everything out for the Mets in 2015 after coming back from Tommy John. It wasn’t Harvey’s fault in 2015. Did you forget already ? Terry Collin’s told Harvey you got 1 more batter and Collin’s left Harvey in for 2 and the rest is history

He wants to play hero ball and then gives up the game winning hit completely folded. Terry should have stuck to the game plan . Which was to go deep enough in the game. About 7 innings.

And the only reason we stood a chance in that game 5 was because of Harvey. Our offense did nothing and Harvey kept us in the game. Game 5 is not Harvey’s fault not even 1 percent
