In Justice League Dark Apokolips war Superman was Depowered by Darkseid, he saved Raven from Killing herself, he hold his own against two Parademons, he defeated a Soldier with one single Punch and he wore Lex Luhtor's Armor and was able to use it. Ultraman could NEVER do that because like you said he's a Coward.

Considering how the Boys universe is dark, I can see Ultraman from the Forever Evil storyline being represented. Considering the fact that compound v acts like a drug, and Ultraman in that story is addicted to kryptonite in a way A-Train in the show is addicted to the chemical, it would make sense to have him not only drunk on power but abusing kryptonite as well if that’s even in that universe, in the same matter. Plus it’d be sorta funny to see billy the butcher using that as some sort of blackmail against him or using that to somehow have Ultraman recklessly kill himself or the crime syndicate in some “coke fueled” kryptonite binge/rage.

In a universe in which everything you could do still happens, you're stuck with one choice while another universe is created where you made the opposite choice (and perhaps a 3rd where you did nothing, and a 4th where you went fishing! This is fun!) So, effectively, Owlman tried to blow up all of creation and failed. So either he created an alternate reality in which he did destroy all of reality.......or Batman's secret super power is spawning no multiverse in which he does not win!!!
The problem with Ultraman is the silly original origin. And gaining power from kryptonite. 1. He is only Superman counterpart like this... Is doesn't fit with any explanations of alternate Earths/Universes of DC. 2. DC established that Kryptonite from one universe has absolutely no effect on kryptonians from an alternate universe (* Superboy Prime) 3. The various "Crisis" have retro'd Ultraman several times...plus the DCAU version in CRISIS ON TWO EARTHS. Each time, the writers reinterpret him. There is absolutely no consistent portrayal of him. I always loved comics. Had a huge collection. Thousands of comics. Filled a big garage. And a big basement....with many many of 1st Editions like OMAC, ETERNALS, and specials...like the extra large sized SUPERMAN vs SPIDER-MAN crossovers...where Spidey got to ridee in the batmobile and Dr.Doom had a frank conversation with Superman.. But I quit. Got rid of everything because I got sick n tired of the reboots and reinterpretations. No continuity. Now I just watch the hero films when they come out. Marvel is at least trying to keep continuity in their films. But DC still doesnt get it. And probably will never understand the fan base. And so...DC will always struggle while Marvel will keep getting on rolling along.
