WCA Response to UMC Bishops Regarding UMC Doctrinal Standards

At the summer, 2022 meeting of the UMC Council of Bishops, Council President Bishop Tom Bickerton called upon leaders of the WCA and GMC to stop spreading falsehoods that the UMC Doctrinal Standards had changed or would change. WCA President Jay Therrell responds by sharing no WCA or GMC leader at any level have done so. Instead, Therrell points out bishops violating The Book of Discipline.
