All in one is neat! How do you go about doing a workload in that case? Where I am we have an Essilor Mr Blue blocker and Mr Orange edger! While lenses are glazing we do padding up ready to go when the current job is done~ Given we are a certain UK store with a catchy slogan (hint hint) we do work en masse- depending on ordering and lenses we can do 40-60 jobs a day~
All completed jobs should be rechecked in the Lensometer to assure the lenses are on axis and that the finished pd is correct. I myself, I’m a licensed optician.
No need to "up" these days. The edgers do have setting adjustments if you find you need a constant +/- for a particular frame material. You can also do adjustments for an individual job but no need to do it for every one.

Glad I could make your day! I do have a question for you please. Just got a new pair of Oakley Trajectory glasses and they have a 6-base wrap. I got Oakley Progressive lenses P1.67 with their Stealth AR. Problem is I can see the edge of the lens in certain lighting conditions and I find that to be unattractive. Do I need a rolled/polished edge? Also is a base-6 wrap ok with progressive lenses? Thanks!!
@@planetfabulous5833 Someone may be able to change the bevel placement a little to hide that leading edge of the lens where you are probably seeing the edge of the polarizing filter (see the video about bevel placement). But you probably do have some lens/frame style conflict there so don't expect any miracles. A progressive MUST be run on the base that it requires. You can't play around to get a better match [regardless of what you might see/hear]. So, it would depend on what the frame curve is and what the lens curve is. We will release a related video on this next week. John

How much do you set up your zyl frames . Back in the day we will set up are size by 1.0 mm On the edger .35 is this correct
