Applying boric acid is far better than calling an exterminator for countless applications. Moved into a new apartment and had a huge roach problem on the top floor. The apartment office sent an exterminator three or four times and I kept seeing him every early morning when I would get up. Several months went by and still was able to see roaches every day. Did some research and went and bought some boric acid put it behind the microwave and down beside the stove and behind the refrigerator and poof! I never saw a roach again for 6 years.
Me too!! I literally can guarantee that this got rid of roach infestation in my apartment 45 years ago. I never saw a roach again during my residency in a roach infested apartment building. Boric acid was in my cabinets, baseboards , under sinks……it seriously eradicated any and all roaches. Price of it was extremely inexpensive years ago but now it can be pricey.
Unreal, good for you. I can't find boric acid Walmart doesn't have it. Where else can I try. I don't shop on line. I'm +80 years old and I'm clean but have a few plants. I use oils in water to spray every night.

I have used boric acid mixed with honey half and half to get rid of cockroaches and ants. In a few day they are all gone. I have done this for many friends and neighbors. Thanks for the information on doing a great job with bugs.
I've used the boric acid mixed with boiled eggs and sugar, using one cup of work as I can one cup of sugar and for hard-boiled eggs only the yellow, and we didn't see a roach for about 3 weeks, nowhere, and then all of a sudden we started seeing brand new baby ones, how is it that you know when they are completely gone if you don't see them for a while and then they pop up again how do you know if they're going to pop up or not how is it that you know that you have ended the roach infestation by using this homemade remedy?

The only difference is you'd learn all these life hacks from the dude sitting next to you at the bar, not the dude on your computer.
Thank you so much for sharing this information. I've read the bottle and thought I was just putting down dust sparingly, but now I know exactly how sparingly. My home was infested with roaches #before I moved in, but I still see one here and there at night. So I just make sure there's no clutter in my home, food stays in the kitchen, dishes washed throughout the day and empty the trash every night. It's been 3 years and I've been able to keep the bugs away on my own so far.
I had roaches once in the kitchen of an apartment I rented once. It was gross. Thankfully it was a 1-BR and they were only in the kitchen. I'd come home from work every day and spray roach killer all over the kitchen. Take out all the drawers and spray the cabinets hoping I was not poisoning myself. Eventually i got rid of them, or at least they were scared enough to stay out of sight. I remember I'd be sitting in the living room or at the dining room table and my eye got trained to notice their little creepy antenna's as they would crawl around and come into view. I'd immediately jump up and spray.
I've been in the pest control industry since the 90s and what you're saying is 100% true. I usually use one of those green bulb dusters and it puts out a very light application

Much respect to you Sir. Ty for your honesty. It's easy to get roaches and I think that there is generally such a social stigma surrounding them that many are embarrassed about an infestation and don't tell/warn others. (Which of course inadvertently causes infestations to spread from one location to another.) Thank you very much for your tips. I've been trying so many things to get rid of the small roaches and crawling insects with no or minimal effect. I've tried gel, spray, diatomaceous sand, etc. Will follow your tip
Intice 10, Advion Roach Gel, insect growth regulator mixed with pesticide, such as Demon WP. These are all great roach products, I would recommend using them in unison for different areas of the home, and you will be stress free.
I've never had a roach problem but I do find that both borax and boric acid work on ants. But like the guy said, use sparingly. You don''t need a mountain of it.
@@seansmith445 Do you know what kind? I am on Amazon and most of them say they are for diatomatious earth dusting. Are they same. I don't know which I am more afraid of the Boric Acid or the roaches. I have been battling German roaches for a few months now and getting so stressed. I live in an apartment and when we started getting them I was able to somewhat control them with the de dust and boric acid. The landlord hired pest control who came in once and put gel bait everywhere in the kitchen (now my toddler has been finding these spots and trying to eat it). They also sprayed clumps of de dust all over the place. I laid low for a few weeks to see if their methods will help but now they have spread all over my apartment and we’re seeing them more and more everywhere. We live in Canada so our pesticides are so few and not working. Can’t even get igr here as far as I know. Please help us.
This is super informative in a really easy to digest manner, thank you. Id love to see a video about more common mistakes people make that increases insects resistance to pesticides, I think that would be fascinating
An old lady told me that boric acid powder ingested by cockroaches is like shards of glass ingested by a human. Is that true or just somewhat of a tale?

Thank You for this video.
I see some say mix a quarter part with powder sugar. Is there any truth to that. Thanks
Bro great vid because I always thought they were the same 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽👍👍👍
Thank you so much❤ I was using borax and was making piles !
Hi, Does your protokol with boric acid kill silver fish?
Boric acid doesn’t kill silverfish
Thanks so much for your information
I live in apt. there are always roaches. I just found out my plants keep them around. Do I have to dump my plants. I'm very clean. I use peppermint oils and other smells at night around my doors and counters and corners etc. and I still see them. Help. If I thought you could rid my apt. I.d call you in, but apts have them no matter what because they travel from apt to apt.
Great info. Thanks Jason :)
Keep up the great work!
Thank you your information is absolutely true
can you pour it down drains to get the ones in the sewer lines?
but shldnt we try the Alpine wsg first? i thought that’s what you suggested in another video? I love this channel. I followed your advice on bedbugs once and have never seen them again so I trust that you can help me with these German cockroaches.!!
7:23 - How to apply Boric Acid with a duster.
Thank you so much Jason, I am about to do this even though I am not sure I have roach problem. I saw something scurrying along my kitchen baseboards, but it might have been a spider which I have noticed a lot of before.
I enjoyed your video! Very good information
I've learned something new!!
Is there any difference of what brand you buy of boric acid and 100 pure or 99??? Any brand u recommend
Thank you
Thank you very much for your tips.
@@mr-toyota im ordering this if peanut butter baits don't work
It makes sense!
I've never had a roach problem but I do find that both borax and boric acid work on ants. But like the guy said, use sparingly. You don''t need a mountain of it.
Nice to meet a fellow Akers!
Cool video thanks.
Where can u buy the duster?
Amazon sell them
@@seansmith445
Do you know what kind? I am on Amazon and most of them say they are for diatomatious earth dusting. Are they same. I don't know which I am more afraid of the Boric Acid or the roaches. I don't have roaches yet, but I've seen some outside and I want to be sure to get them before they try to get inside.
Boss, what do u think of nibor d?
thanks for the help
Good details, i learned a lot! thanks. subed!
So should I seal the cracks too?
They are in the swear drain. What about pouring it down the sewer cleanout?
Our apartment did the same and my toddler found and tried to eat the gel baits too. Been trying to do pest control myself as well. 😢
Good info!
Thanks for great information! We spotted ONE roach last night in kitchen. Wondering if there's more?
Pretty great info!! Thank you! I would like to know about ear wigs. They are coming in from everywhere
Very true
Tallstar works really good for bed bugs
Hi. Do you have recommendations for fleas inside?

Thanks! I've been using DE, and it's not working. I'm gonna try boric acid instead. It's a war in my apartment.
Update? Has the boric acid worked better than the DE? Or was DE producing better results?
@@Ruthlesskidsfif not order advion im do that next
Where can i find your Amazon list of pesticides?
Thank you.

Hey dude, thanks for the video. I got the Harris plastic duster and it doesn't spray out fine clouds like it should, so I'm going to buy your southern homewares for the boric acid. Do you think it will give me better results? Thanks!
