Really enjoyed your video, try having some baby wipes handy for your sticky hands. Also if you press your project using baking parchment it will help set the glue without getting bits stuck to the iron xxx
Claire, have you considered hosting a group on a social media platform to have a prompt every month for a project for other sewers to try your techniques. It seems to be all the rage now. Your collages are so inspiring . I hope you dont mind but I am going to try to create some echinacea this month. Next month maybe another type of flower or feathers. I do have lots of batik scraps which seem to work great for collages. Thank you.
I just now discovered your channel! Man, I should have saved my teeny tiny scraps for a project like this, I guess. I just stuffed them ALL into a little pillow (even the threads from my projects LOL). Oh well, there will be many, many more scraps in the very near future.

It is smaller and plastic , is it a foot you use for the smaller fabric shapes that you are sewing on? Thank you for this really nice video tutorial! ❤
Thank you for your comment. The foot is called a darning foot or freemotion embroidery foot, most sewing machine companies sell them as extras. Happy stitching.🪡🧵♥️
Thank you for your comment. I use all sorts of thread, I am not brand loyal so use rayons, cottons and polyesters of any machine weight. An embroidery or metalic needle and an easy feed stand is a must for my machine.
I did this one and am trying to attach flowers with metallic thread. I'm having trouble with the stitches not catching the bobbin thread. Any suggestions?
To get the best results with metallic thread I always use a separate thread/cone stand that sits behind and still feeds in from the top as normal. I replace my regular needle with a Schmetz metallic needle, it has been designed specifically for metallic threads. Both products can be purchased from www.silverviscount.co.uk/. I hope that helps, happy sewing.
I love this 💕💕 but..NO criticism intended and me being anal as........I used to do floral art and my fingers are itching to remove 1 flower leaving 5 only......for the most part, nature doesn't like even numbers
