Thank you for these lovely tutorials. I am new to slow stitching and so far only made random pieces/scrolls. These broaches are a great idea for artistic expression.

Your channel came up in recommendations from UA-cam - I’m really happy about that!
This is just the sort of thing I love, and watching to learn a new skill is very helpful. I am partially disabled and don’t get out much, so it’s good to have small projects to do. I can’t manage big sewing jobs much now.
And I must thank you so much for allowing us to hear just your gentle voice, without the addition of loud music to compete with human voice. I have a cognitive disfunction, which means that my brain can’t handle human voice with music overlaid, very loud, and turned on and off in quick succession.
Almost all UA-camrs add music to their work, and it causes pain, dizziness and confusion, for the time I hear it, and then for about twenty minutes afterwards 😢 It’s got much worse as I’ve got older and since Covid!!!
When I’ve asked politely if UA-cam content makers would consider making videos without music, I sometimes get told, “turn the sound off”! Well of course I do that a lot of the time, but it’s lonely to live in total silence all day, every day. And also, I can’t learn anything if I don’t hear the instructions 😂😂😂
Anyway, thanks again for these lovely little ‘slow’ sewing projects. I can now make little gifts from all my spare fabric off cuts! Bless you ❤ xxx

You have definitely inspired me…I started practicing some stitches and then began some Fiesta collages. I’m pending the backing now.
    Thanks again!!!

So I am literally starting slow stitching today!! I've been gathering fabrics and materials but I wasn't sure where to start so this video has been really helpful to me. I hadn't thought of making such a small piece but it's a much less intimidating idea than I had in mind. I have subscribed and I feel a bit of binge watching coming on. Thank you Jo

I appreciate hearing your thought process in choosing the fabric placement as well as the colors of threads. these are adorable and the stitching of the colors make sense; the piecing of fabric with the colors also make sense. I think these examples are very eye pleasing! tfs!😊

I love the elephant selvedge. Thank you. They are a sweet gift idea. I'm going down to look at my scrap pile just a little differently. I want to find some birds.

They look great. I found in my stash a mommigami (sp) square i had sewn to fabric. I never thought to add a safety pin to it. I was thinking of scrap book items. But great idea. Take care, be safe.
