That bit at 4:00? Yeah, I can do that too. Every. Single. Time. 😂 Awesome tone, thanks for sharing. I love the fact you're leaving tons of space in your playing, you're helping the song along rather than filling it full of 'noise'. Really helpful to see
Wish my helix sounded like that, always sounds great on headphones but live it always sounds so bass and muffed not sure if my bass player has his speaker to loud lol great job praise God
I have always wondered if having a click track or directions like this in your monitor affect the worship teams's ability to enter into worship or be led by the Spirit. What are your thoughts?
I filmed a video about that recently. It’ll be up soon. For me, it doesn’t hinder that at all, but I know that might not be true of everyone. The bottom line is the technology exists to be directed be us, and not the other way around. So we have the ability to change direction or do anything we want, even with the click. All it does is help sound better and more locked in with timing.
Thanks! I've got everything set up before the amps here. Except for one reverb (the Particle Verb in the Helix). That one is post amps, but I only use it for the super ambient sounds. Never with any kind of overdrive.
Not that I’m aware of. I have different presets I use with single coil guitars or HB guitars. All my amp and drive settings stay consistent from song to song.
Sure! This doesn't have the update yet that I've done on my end, but we'll send that out soon: worshiptutorials.com/product/wt-signature-brian-wahl-tone-match-patches-line-6-fractal/
Call me stubborn or old school 🤷🏼♂️. But, when it comes to classic hymns, I have a hard time connecting and feeling God's presence when they're put into the modern praise and worship style like this. Not to disrespect, because you did a very good job playing it Brian. It's just a personal thing. Maybe, one day, I'll get over it.
It's a preference thing for sure, and I say it's 100% cool for us to like what we like (and not like what we don't, ha). Where it gets strange to me is when someone tries to tell me that their preference is 'right' and my preference is 'wrong', but that's not what you're doing here at all. 👍🏻
Wow, what an awesome combination, and the 2nd beat hits after the transition we're perfect!
I love your progression as an electric player Brian. Tasty tonez brother
Thank you!
That Les Paul sounds awesome!

Brb sending to worship leader…..
Man… that is super hot! I like to hear myself a little more “in” the mix.
Wish my helix sounded like that, always sounds great on headphones but live it always sounds so bass and muffed not sure if my bass player has his speaker to loud lol great job praise God
First! 🤣 Beautiful Brian! And that tone 👀
Thank you!!
What’s ur fav guitar boys?
When you record your in-ear mix do you have to do any eq-ing when making these videos are is this a raw mix of your in ear feed? It sounds great!
Thanks! Yeah there is some EQ and compression applied just to make it louder and sweeten things. But this is pretty much what I hear in my IEMs.

the worship leader can signal it to be turned off when necessary

@@worshiptutorialsIt took a lot of reps before I could feel connected with all the input in my ears- especially if the mix was off
The click track was hard to get used to-
Great job - which patch was used?
Thanks! I used a tweaked version of the Brian Sig patch that’s been updated with the TM Gen2 IR’s.
@@worshiptutorials oh man that sounds pretty awesome - cant wait for that!!!! Great job once again brutha!!!
Great sound. Are the reverbs /delays pre or post amp modeling? (I use Tonex, not Helix)

Great video!!! How did you record it?
I capture the audio from my IEM mixer into a Zoom H6, and I used a Sony a74 for the video.
@@worshiptutorials Thanks a lot!
Does the gain change on the mixing board when you switch from a humbucker guitar to a single coil guitar? From one amp to another?
Not that I’m aware of. I have different presets I use with single coil guitars or HB guitars.

@@worshiptutorials thank you for the reply!
I’m curious is the click always used at double time?
Depends on the song/tempo
I kept thinking my blinker was on
... at 68bpm, ha
That transition was interesting, hits on the 2 is not used like that very often at all
Hi, Beautiful ! Full of dynamisme. Is the Tokai guitar a good guitar?
What wt patch were you using lol

Can you put the link?@@worshiptutorials

Is that a gibson
Tokia
Basically, what the house mix should be, minus the click/music director. MONSTER GUITAR!!!
I agree 100% ha!
“Diret”😂
…oops 😬
