That tone sounds absolutely massive Wow!
The keys player vibing in the background :D...
That tone is unreal! well played!
Thanks!
Man your playing is so tasteful ♥️. You're really a blessing 💯✨
Thank you!
That Nash is just awe-inspiring!! Always love that signature ramping trem 👌
Loving the Spanish translation. “Amor sin condicion” is so much richer than “reckless love”!
😊
So good brother. That guitar sounds amazing.
Sounds good to me.
mannnnn love the tones!!!! so nice!
I enjoyed this video, Bradford.
This is exactly what I aspire to be as a fifteen year old playing lead guitar in two worship bands I one day hope to be as good as this guy so I can fill the empty space in my playing
Keep at it! This is the result of lots and lots of repetition and playing as much as possible and learning how music works even on a basic level.
Killed V2 Bradford!!! Inspiring, seriously.
Excellent musicianship. And a heart to worship.
WOW Bradford! This was an awesome play through! Loved the tone and the parts. Your own flare without being too much. Loved it!
definitely gonna take the time to just learn everything you played for this song
Brad you are my reference brother! Well played. God bless!
Um this is make me drool tone and parts! 😌🤌 Thanks for making me hate my current tone. Time to start experimenting again. Thanks for sharing!
All glory to almighty God 🙌🔥
Amen 🙏🏼
God bless you ❤
I really like these videos. I send them to electric guitarists who are interested in joining the worship team, but don’t quite know how to gel with the rest of the team. The amount of out of nowhere blues pentatonic, or way too much overdrive stuff has gone down 90% since then😂
🔥🖤💯🙏🏾
Now that is the definition of a "more me" mix :-). Works great if you already know your part.
I have 21 driver in-ears and using a $100 recorder that will inevitably compress. You won’t be able to hear things like me :) that and UA-cam compresses too haha
Unreal how good that was. Thanks for sharing!
dude that tone🔥🔥
We definitely need more in ear mix videos! 🔥
More coming soon!
Oh my gosh this is not a concert Bradford how can you solo like this! We can’t even hear the singing! 😂😂😂
J/k sounds freaking awesome #bringbackradsolosinworshipmusic!
Inspiring stuff Bradford. Appreciate you brother!!
You melted my face off! 🤟🏻🙌🏻
🙏🏼😎
Wow way to go! Sounds really good man’
Thanks!
First!
Good sound not doing much and yes reverb for days.Just to simple.❤
I would love a review of the Nash. That thing sounds awesome
It's the pickups (along w/ Bradford's incredible playing and gear setup, of course) -- Lollar Regals.
I've had them in multiple guitars (including a Shoreline Gold Nash T-72 just like Bradford's). I currently have them in a Fano GF6. They are some of the best humbuckers on the market.
@@robbrazier471 is that color shoreline gold? Not Les Paul Gold?
Go the Nash.
Time for a Review?
Sounds Awesome.
Love the mix! I’ve been trying to dial in what’s right but can’t find a good balance between being too loud and having the key reference (keyboard, bass, etc) being too loud.
Thank you for this amazing song. Please what are the chords he does at 1:54 & 2:15 ?
At 2:15 it’s an Am of sorts.
Thumb on E string, 5th fret and muting the A string beneath it. 2nd and 3rd fingers on 5th fret in D and G string. Open B string. First finger on 3rd fret on high E. You can move it to the 7th for a similar sounding Bm and back to the 4th fret for a G# minor and then to the 2 but leaving the high E open for an F#m.
At 1:54 it’s just an F but not barring either the first finger on the first fret. Only the b string.
@@bmitchellmusic thank you Mitchell ! I'll try it and will add it to my toll box
the beginnig of the 2. verse is sooo nice :D only thing i wondered about about was, that the click seems to be nearly inaudible at times, so are u listening more to your drummer? Also yourdrummer is insane
man this is so good. is all the sustain coming from the comp? or delay/verb too?
Compressor 👌🏼
I loved the mix, playing was amazing, would love to understand something of your process to get to this point. How did you learn the song initially, through to practicing (did you have the track to play with) through to getting the whole band to play this well together. I guess that’s a big question, but perhaps many have a similar issue of learning and practicing alone but struggling to then come together as a full band? Thanks
That click track would drive me bonkers....😳 Do you hear that in ears the entire time? Or is it for the video? Nice playing, beautiful tone...💚🎸
Brad, I'm not sure why I have stayed away from Nash, but the tone is incredible. Are the Pups stock? I recall the necks being a tad thin. Thoughts? Thanks, and God Bless
Depends on the guitar I suppose but this neck is CHUNKY. These are Lollar WRHBs. I bought this used so not sure if it’s stock for sure but I believe it is.
Question relating to a problem I’ve had with my tone. When I dial in my big lead tones, everything seems to wash out super quick. I use an rv6 on the modulate setting. Any tips to fix it?
I have an RV-6. Maybe try less reverb and more delay. Another trick I use is having a long delay time but lower mix. Also making sure the reverb is bright enough to not be muddy. I started keeping the tone knob up around noon or higher and found that I needed less reverb because it cut through the mix better.
I sure love that modulate setting!
Hope this helps :-)
What chord are you playing at 2:15? That was tasty.
Hey man, I know it’s late, sorry! Ha
It’s an Am of sorts.
@@bmitchellmusic thanks dude! I dig that. Stealing this and your E/G# from firm foundation
What are you using to get this tone man? This is killer!!!
In which key have you played it?
did you use captures in the QC and what are they?
Yup. Probably Chimera and SC30. If not then Clubman and 64 AC30. Those are my combos so not has to be one of those 2 sets.
@@worshiptutorials sounds awesome. I can't get my QC to sound that good (with my pedalboard). Did you use IRs or cabs for the captures? Or just EQ at the end? Would be great if you could upload that preset 😁
We have these available on our site :)
All our captures are full amp/cab captures (including preamps and some subtle EQ we do on our preamps - typically Neve 1073's). We've found that full amp/cab captures always sound better than direct captures with IR's or QC Cabs.
The preset used is just the two amp captures in a stereo configuration.
Appreciate that there’s been loads of chat about this over the years, but I just can’t do this song - God’s love is never reckless. I understand the attempt being made by the artist to convey something, but no amount of creative word play can ever convince me that it’s ever an appropriate description for an attribute of God’s character.
Thanks for the comment!
I agree. It's a poorly written song and doesn't convey the true character of God at all. Our old church used to do this song but we'd swap out 'reckless' for 'perfect.'
But I need to add my two cents.
Nice comment, how about how great the guitar playing is….
I've always considered it "reckless" from our perspective and understanding. It doesn't make logical sense to leave 99 sheep to find 1 lost. Humans would find that reckless, to jeopardize 99 for the sake of 1.
so much reverrrrrb, noooooo
I know this is late but if you intend to use reverb so it’s heard in a mix you will need to up in. It will disappear otherwise. You are hearing my ears so of course it seems louder but in the house our FOH gets just what he needs.
too much! the guitar lines are making the singing melody sound off. Less is more, he did an instrumental from the start to finish of the song. Music needs silent too.
Thanks for your comment.
its make a joyful noise. not make a joyful silence. your pre-conceived notions about what makes music tasteful or not is purely influenced by societal cultural norms and not what is commanded in scripture. unless i missed the verse about the electric guitar parts for this song in the bible...
This also isn’t the in house mix. It’s probably quite a bit more subdued with the house mix.
Feels like an immature comment. You didn’t really have to say that, esp since you’re probably wrong.
1) We don’t know how it actually songs FoH, this is just his in ear. So it could’ve sounded rlly good out there
2) this is a worship service, not a recording label. Meaning they’ve sing this song thousands of times and they certainly do not play it the same way everything time.
2- Sometimes we leave lots of silent, other times we don’t. It depends on the entire set list, the mood we’re going for etc etc.
Simply telling them they’re playing it in bad taste is like telling PTX for not singing the song properly lol.
TLDR; it’s fine, you’re overthinking. Having played it a thousand times, I’m sure they’ve played it exactly how you wanted. This is just one of the thousands of variation to fit a setlist
