If avatar the last airbender was a 10 then gravity falls is like a 9 imo, I think that these are 2 of the best "kids shows" in terms of story, characters, mysteries (yes avatar does have mysteries even if they aren't focused on that), and setting. To me ATLA and GF are like the 2 hidden gem childhood shows that no one expected to be good but ended up amazing.
Pls finish this show. It's absolutely one of the best cartoons ever made if not the best. Also, the creators of Rick and Morty and gravity falls are best friends so there are Easter eggs of Rick and Morty in gravity falls and vice versa. For example in the last episode you watched from Rick and Morty (citadel of ricks) there was a easteregg of dipper and Mabel as morties walking around in the citadel of Rick's.

One of two Disney animated shows of this century I bothered to watch that isn’t Star Wars or Marvel. Really surprised me with the writing and humor and quirky characters. Like a comedic, family friendly version of Stranger Things. I have a 7 year old beagle named Mabel. Wish I could show you pics. I suggested the name for NON-entertainment reasons. My brother was watching G.F at the time and agreed with my name suggestion. I didn’t see the show until Spring 2020. Oh, and best Disney villain ever!
