Bill Cipher also pops up in a early episode of Owl House when King teaches Luz about demons. In Rick and Morty, items from Gravity Falls pops up through a portal. It's fun finding connections like that. There are probably even more but I hadn't seen anymore

Oregon actually has the highest number of haunted houses of any state in America (thus making it the perfect setting for this show), not to mention loads of tourist traps & roadside attractions/oddities that the Mystery Shack takes its inspiration from.

Yeah. There's TONS closer towards the coast. Hiking, swimming, rock climbing, skiing, the city, wide number of festivals, the falls, the gorge... Other than the hot air balloon event though, can't think of much in the eastern half. 😅

An interesting detailed to keep in mind is that Mabel is always wearing a different sweater every episode. And it was stated by the writers that not only does she make them herself. If you don’t see her on screen, she’s most likely knitting a new sweater. Also, a very interesting little fact is that. a deleted second that the fandom has actually taken as Canon. Has stand talking about an older woman that he ended up meeting once in Vegas that they ended up getting married by an Elvis impersonator, and then she stole his car. One of the details is, he describes her having long gray hair, a bit of a snaggletooth and wore a 30 and flirty T-shirt. This was about a year or two before owl house came out. Where Eda not only has that same shirt. She also has a mug that says 30 and flirty. So the fandom has basically adopted the idea that at one point stand Pines married Eda, the owl lady for a short while.

this series is such a treat, it really encourages that mystery-finder mindset. there's so many fun little background details and borderline-ARG clues, to really help drive home the idea that there's something bigger going on, but without getting in the way of a casual viewing experience, because it's still conventionally entertaining and genuine. (not to mention funny, I don't think there's a show out there that better matches the exact humor my friend group vibes with, so many laugh-out-loud moments)

Oh, my, freaking, GOD this literally feels like a dream Alicia is ACTUALLY watching gravity falls I absolutely love gravity falls even though at first I’d actively avoid it because what was shown on the adverts it looked really scary but one morning I had a doctors appointment so before I went to the hospital I just watched whatever was on the TV channel which was Disney XD that day and watched the Halloween episode which if there was going to be a scariest episode that would be it but I REALLY enjoyed it and would actively watch it instead gravity falls is such a phenomenal show (I deeply miss when Disney used to make things that was actually freaking good)
There are so many secrets hidden in this series it is quite interesting. Hidden messages, ciphers and things that look like letters all throughout. When it first came out there threads on reddit trying to find and decipher everything liek the little ending cards with code, wild theories and lists of little hints etc. It was a wild and very entertaining time. Good memories.

LET’S GOOOOOOOO this is literally my favorite animated show ever, I’ve watched a lot but I’ve rewatched this show so many times and I love the story and everything, I’m so glad you’re starting it!
This show is full of codes and secrets to look for. Every episode ends with some cool codes to decrypt. The random gibberish at the end of the credits (and a card after the credits in season 2) has jumbled letters or numbers to decript with some really clever codebreaking using several different kinds. Season 2 even COMBINES codes to make them tougher to figure out. Season one's codes are simple and goofy, usually an extra joke related to the show, but the shorts from between the seasons and season two's codes god a lot more heavy with ominous foreshadowing future events. If you want to try and solve the first set of codes yourself, listen to the whisper on the title screen. Playing it backwards will give a clue how to solve the code.
Yeah Gravity Falls is one of those modern classics. It came out and everyone knew it was gonna be something big. Best part is the creator got to tell the story he set up. No rushing to the end due to cancellation or anything. Just the two seasons he wanted. Although there is some rumblings Disney are trying to get him back for more Gravity Falls.

And it was stated by the writers that not only does she make them herself. If you don’t see her on screen, she’s most likely knitting a new sweater.
Also, a very interesting little fact is that. a deleted second that the fandom has actually taken as Canon.
Has stand talking about an older woman that he ended up meeting once in Vegas that they ended up getting married by an Elvis impersonator, and then she stole his car.
One of the details is, he describes her having long gray hair, a bit of a snaggletooth and wore a 30 and flirty T-shirt.
This was about a year or two before owl house came out. Where Eda not only has that same shirt. She also has a mug that says 30 and flirty.
So the fandom has basically adopted the idea that at one point stand Pines married Eda, the owl lady for a short while.

this series is such a treat, it really encourages that mystery-finder mindset. there's so many fun little background details and borderline-ARG clues, to really help drive home the idea that there's something bigger going on, but without getting in the way of a casual viewing experience, because it's still conventionally entertaining and genuine. (not to mention funny, I don't think there's a show out there that better matches the exact humor my friend group vibes with, so many laugh-out-loud moments)

Oh, my, freaking, GOD this literally feels like a dream Alicia is ACTUALLY watching gravity falls I absolutely love gravity falls even though at first I’d actively avoid it because what was shown on the adverts it looked really scary but one morning I had a doctors appointment so before I went to the hospital I just watched whatever was on the TV channel which was Disney XD that day and watched the Halloween episode which if there was going to be a scariest episode that would be it but I REALLY enjoyed it and would actively watch it instead gravity falls is such a phenomenal show (I deeply miss when Disney used to make things that was actually freaking good)
There are so many secrets hidden in this series it is quite interesting. Hidden messages, ciphers and things that look like letters all throughout. When it first came out there threads on reddit trying to find and decipher everything liek the little ending cards with code, wild theories and lists of little hints etc. It was a wild and very entertaining time. Good memories.
This is one of my favorite tv cartoons from Disney. It’s got a vibe that matches the old Disney Afternoon lineup if it was made a a decade or two earlier.

At 6:34 : That's the part I love the most about this show and a cool little tid bit is how the writer based Dipper and Mabel and their relationship off of him and his own sister and their lives when they were young.

LET’S GOOOOOOOO this is literally my favorite animated show ever, I’ve watched a lot but I’ve rewatched this show so many times and I love the story and everything, I’m so glad you’re starting it!
This show is full of codes and secrets to look for. Every episode ends with some cool codes to decrypt. The random gibberish at the end of the credits (and a card after the credits in season 2) has jumbled letters or numbers to decript with some really clever codebreaking using several different kinds. Season 2 even COMBINES codes to make them tougher to figure out. Season one's codes are simple and goofy, usually an extra joke related to the show, but the shorts from between the seasons and season two's codes god a lot more heavy with ominous foreshadowing future events.
If you want to try and solve the first set of codes yourself, listen to the whisper on the title screen. Playing it backwards will give a clue how to solve the code.

Yeah Gravity Falls is one of those modern classics. It came out and everyone knew it was gonna be something big. Best part is the creator got to tell the story he set up. No rushing to the end due to cancellation or anything. Just the two seasons he wanted. Although there is some rumblings Disney are trying to get him back for more Gravity Falls.
You know after watching this episode I might watch all of gravity falls again because I’m not just saying that I genuinely DO love it

They got married at some point in Vegas and stayed together for a full 48 hours before she stole all of their casino winnings and his car and he never saw her again.
