Hi Andrew. Been following you for a long time. You are an amazing teacher. Thank you. However, I have always found that I am never quite smart enough to follow your lessons. I put you down for 6 months at a time hoping that when I come back your lessons will make more sense. Maybe I am just too old. LOL
It’s all about the journey, and just keep on keeping on! We all progress at different rates. One day you'll be watching a lesson and a major light-bulb will turn on. With music, we learn best by hearing the same information told over & over again in slightly different ways. Then, one day - it's like a switch gets flipped "ON." And, a whole bunch of stuff starts making sense.
Yes, they are composed, (rather quickly and off-the-cuff). I create the backing track first, then I improvise over it for about 10 min. and finally hit the "record" button on the cam!
