Growing up in Jamaica, Port Antonio - Boston, was the only place to get jerk pork and jerk chicken. When my father travelled from Kingston to visit his mom and sister in Port Antonio, we always took back, Jerk pork, jerk chicken and a bottle of jerk seasoning in an empty (jam or mayo) bottle to Kingston from Boston.
Years later, I was surprised to see jerk meat being sold all over Kingston.

Mass Dwight! you can't keep doing these things to us, this is the definition of ultimate torture. You know regardless of how well people in USA say they can Jerk, it is nothing in comparison to this....I can almost taste it in my mouth.....and it will be several months before I can make it down to the Island to have some in person!

@@annettejohnson2683 No made up story. It was called Crystal Springs camp site that had these deers. Hurricane Gilbert came and the deers escape into the wild. Crystal Springs was near Buff Bay, Portland.

Festival was originate out of BRATON St CATHERINE early seventies by a Rasta name PROFF...... he all box and sell on the market in New York..

Michael... Do you know that bauxite is what they use to make zinc. And it also use to make pots , Pans, Knife, forks and many other house hold items.

Thts hw jerk is originally done covered with zinc…even though it always hve pimento leave covering the meat b4 they put the zinc in it..
We see this all the time. What you need to vedio for Million views and Subscription is to show how they season it up from scratch.
