These crabs are nicer than the regular land crabs we’re use to in Kingston
Those plants that are in the bushes cost a lot of money in the States. Their names are purple heart tradescantia, Snake plant and Peperomia. It's good to see them growing in the wild.

This put me in time of my childhood in Montego Bay when i went on a numerous crab bush at night very good memories
Those crab’s look different from the blue mud crab . I think those crab’s are called pimento crab if am right loving the video fam bless up🔥🙏🏾
They live in slow running water or rivers in forests or ravines but yh its different
And you find them mostly anywhere

Those are called jumbee crabs they are really common in christmas island and other tropical islands
This reminds me of the times I use to catch crabs at Port Henderson near Spanish Town. SO INTERESTING.

I like that they don’t catch the smaller ones. However I also notice people leave their litter in the crabs environment. We can’t do that. Please take your bottle torches with you.
Nice video I actually went the other night I’m from Portland I’ve never eaten the black crabs before this is gonna be my second time recording crab hunting it’s a really nice experience.

I was looking at one of your blog and to say you take me back seventy years back is an understatement everything you chat i have been there done that walk 🚶♂️ to school barefoot bammie shat pan in that short clip i relived my child hood days we were poor but we did not know it because we were a happy bunch did not have to run from gun shots the little we had was good and we were satisfied. You are proud to say how things were you and I have alot to compare yesterday and today the children today for the most part could not make it but people like us did the crab catching was all so a past time of mine as a young girl just say we are going to catch crab tonight i am ready. To make the pickled vegetales you have to cut up carrots in Julian stips hot pepper onions pimiento seed sweet pepper cucumber and vinnigar in one little sugar mix all is one pour in bottle set aside fry fish pour sauce over it serve ready

You need to try our Old Bay seasoning on crabs. We eat mostly male crabs most people don’t like female crabs

They don't purge them in Jamaica they eat them right away lol.I Iearn about purging crabs when I visited the virgin Islands st Thomas specifically they gave the crabs cornmeal and some vegetation to eat for about 3@5 days then they cook them

A me fi tell yuh. We dont eat those in St Thomas. They give me the creeps. Many sleepless nights these types of crabs cause us. They always tried to crawl on the roof at night and try get inside he house. Or get in and sit in the roof over the bed. And we had to kill them. And throw them away.
Crab in Clarendon are bigger and has grayish colour...did anyone noticed that...I think Portland colour is the same...
So wait a how those crabs so red these must be on the Westmoreland end
