Join me as I react to the new set photos of the new Superman suit released today by James Gunn. In the images we see various looks of the actor David Corenswet wearing the new suit he will be dawning in the Superman movie that will be releasing in 2025. I will also be giving my thoughts on all the suits including the reveal that Mr. Terrific is in the movie. I will share my thoughts on everything from the bagginess of the suit to the pads. I will be honest this isn't my cup of tea but also these are just set photos.This is basically just a fun video to share some thoughts on the new Superman movie. I hope you enjoy It. Well I disagree with most of your points. The suit is amazing and is the perfect way to do Superman's costume in the modern age.

@@FSGAMER818The reason for the bagginess is because Gunn didn't want to use muscle pads like most of the Supermen suits that came before.
The suit is baggy so David can move properly and naturally while moving. The suit can be slimmed down in post production.

The crazy thing is, people complained about how overly muscular the snyder suit looked in Justice League. But people think the Christopher Reeves skin tight looks corny now. But people also dont like the sprayed on muscle definition. And people dont like the suit being a normal fit.
Remember when everyone all of a sudden had opinions about Pattinson with a collar?
The lesson is... it dont fuckin matter. If they look like the character's base elements, if they embody the character's heart, and (most importantly) if the writers have TALENT. It will work and everyone wont even remember all the complaints before.

@@midwestkrazy83turner50The reasoning why it may look a bit baggy to u is because unlike all the the Man of Steel suits and most of the Supermen suits that came before and after. Gunn didn't want to add muscle padding for the suit most likely for the reasons stated in the comment above, but it's also so the suit looks more natural cause an actual skin tight suit doesn't show muscle definition. But who knows, maybe Gunn might change his mind during post and add some muscle definition later on, literally anything can happen after a director is done filming.

People liked it back then for a reason u know!? And it's the reason why the majority like it today.
Mr terrific is the smartest justice league member. He's been in the Justice League unlimited show and in the show Arrow.

Relax...All modern suits are loose fitting and padded to help the actors.It will be touched up in editing.Its a common thing.Marvel SPIDERMAN had baggy pre production suit.Calm down.And also according to the ALL STAR SUPERMAN story line ,he loses his powers and weight because of SOLARIS.Chill dude, Gunn knows the big guy better than most! Even better than Snyyder ever did.

I actually like it much better than the first original reveal. Love the vibrant colors and don't mind the trunks and happier (but not totally satisfied) that the neck isn't as covered up as I originally thought. Still prefer the open neck giving superman a broader chest and shoulder look. And hopefully there will be cg modification to the suit to make it tighter fitted in post production....like they did for Spiderman and Black Panther. If people notice this obvious aspect, hopefully (and surely) the production team did as well. Corenswet worked way too hard in the gym to only cover up his bulky frame..... hopefully they'll do him justice in the end. We'll see.
Idk if people follow James Gunn but he stated the suit will not have padding and it will not have CGI added onto it. What we see is the suit. They will obviously fix color scheme and suit in post production but this is the suit. My guess as to why it’s not skin tight is that they want David to be able to move in the suit. I personally do not see an issue with the suit. David looks like Superman and Clark. I like the mix between the new 52 and old school Superman suit. I personally don’t know what they could have done more with the suit. I think Henry’s suit looked amazing but I did not like how dark it was and it looked like it restricted Henry’s movements quite a bit. I love this suit a lot.
My guess they made Superman suit like for all the big CGI moments during flying and fighting.
Gunn is going for a alex Ross cloth look . Which is why its " baggy" his suit is made of earth bound materials not alien tech or materils l like with snyders . I love this suit it looks amazing also superman has had baggy suits in the comics and theres no padding on corenswet suit . He got jacked for this role

Modern or not. He’s doesn’t wear a baggy suit. It’s fitted skin tight. Superman is jacked and it shows through the suit, it’s not hidden. They messed Superman up!

I dont like the trunks outside out tight soandex style suits. Ive always favored the no trunk designs. Black suit, lightning superman, new 52 etc.

I was hoping they finally put the red linings on the neckline and sleeve wrist end just like the new 52. but no... They didn't. No red lines.
I think David is so wham that the suit just doesn’t fit on him as tightly as if he were more lean. But I could be talking crap. There are a couple of gripes I have about this suit is ; 1 the thickness of the lines or just having the lines in general, the collar would’ve probably looked better if it was more angular like New 52, the symbol would be cooler if it was slightly larger and then my final nitpick is that it would’ve been better if the logo was more pronounced like a 3d symbol a bit like Brendon Routh and Henry Cavill’s suits. But like I said it’s just my little nitpicks. The colours are vibrant and the cape has a nice drape to it, also nice cape logo 😎🔥

😆😆😆😆. Dead a## MCU vibes! I know that Synder isn't coming back. But at least he had his own vision and he didn't have to copy any playbook. This clown Gunn, done went off and copied the MCU formula and he done brought the designers and ppl in this New DCU. I see that WB made a BIG Muck up hiring this dude and i was nvr on board when they announced his hire. I felt like they should of timed out on the New DCU and found better. GOTG were off the backs of the other MCU movies. He didn't create the MCU, that was Kevin. Gunn doesn't have past movies to merit him to be making a Superman movie. Gunn got Superman in hoocie daddy shorts 😆. I'm just cherish what was from Synder and hope they don't get to messing with Matt Reeves projects.
Lolol again you Snyder fanatics are fuckin hilarious. "He had a vision" his vision was fuckin dogshit and all it did was fuckin eviscerate every DC character it fuckin touched for a LONG time, whilst producing nothing but flop after flop after flop.
The MCU's designs sought to update the comic designs to the fullest, whilst also actually adapting the COMIC BOOK character. They didn't try to impose what they believed the characters should be like a pretentious idiot did. They embraced what the characters were on the page and applied it to the screen. The films made during the MCU's 10 year run weren't restricted by a man's vision of what the comics should be. They were loyal to what the comics were.
So if Gunn's philosophy is similar to that... which given how much he claims the film is inspired by certain comics and how much love he has shown comic creators since his takeover, and given how many homages are in this suit - then DC will be in very VERY good hands for the next decade.

Don't even care to give it a chance. The DCU is already DOA. Look at the detail of the costumes and then think about the debt. Would you give it a shot. Never in my life. I'd rather watch a real life demon come out of the television and kill me. Get what film i'm talking about.
This suit is kind of conflicting. Here's what still bothers me a month later after the first reveal. The lines, they don't belong on the suit at all. The symbol is a bit low. I don't like the neck collar still. Not the biggest fan of the Kingdom Come logo. And the suit is slightly too baggy, the kingdom come Brandon Routh suit from the CW was more form fitting than this one. The back logo on the cape is a bit small. Here's some positives though. The colors are beautiful, I like the yellow outline on the symbol, cape material is great, I appreciate the fact that he has a symbol on his cape, even if its small & doesn't have my absolute favorite design. That's about all I can say for now.
Ayyyeee Daniel! I appreciate you stopping by and sharing your thoughts. I think that of course as with everyone it's going to be subjective. It seems from these comments like its fairly divided. I tend to more agree with your opinion. I just think I'm used to a simpler suit. That is not to say accents cant be cool as well as we saw with Man of steel. I also do like the colors they chose. With that said like I mentioned in the video these are my set photo "hot takes" if you will. They are subject to change when we actually see the final product.
@@Eric_Rosas No problem. I haven't stepped in & commented on your videos in a while because I was on a social media detox for a whole week. But it's been over for 2 days thankfully. I just hope the suit is a bit more form fitting in the movie, similar to how the VFX artists remove wrinkles on Tom Hollands suits, but not as extreme hopefully.

Black panther n Holland's spiderman suits were baggy n sorts (especially the ones that were made for action scenes for flexibility)b4 they were tone up during post...
