DEAREST LORD GOD deepest thanks for leading me to stories on YOUR St. Therese of Lisieux my personal patron saint. St. Therese please pray for me/my family.
She is AMAZING! I prayed to her for her intercession for months, then my bad skin condition completely disappeared after I'd had it for over 10 years...Also, I needed financial help and she did that for me too :) I love her so much. God Bless xxx
As a young adult I became a Christian. An Episcopal; something held me back from becoming Roman Catholic. More and more lately I've been reading about the Catholic Church and this beautiful story of St. Therese, who believed that small deeds and love are enough. Her story is so inspirational, and so is this beautiful video that moved me to tears. Thank you for posting it.
So wonderful... thank you for sharing this and reminding me of Jesus' calling to me. And I love her face... I always feel like she is my sister, and like she is smiling a smile of heavenly love... may others see the same smile of Him who loves us, when they see me. Thank you... and God Bless you all.
My mother came from Canada & she was her Favorite Saint of all because she was so sweet & Powerful & accorded my mother many answers & miracles in her lifetime.
I've sent this to several friends. It's so perfect the way you did it. It's not screaming in your face or overly maudlin. It's as quiet and unassuming as she was -which is why it's so powerful. Much more so that any other film of her life I've seen. Thankx for posting.~St. Therese ora pro nobis~
Today I felt very lonely and lost in life...I went to Mass and at the end as I always do I touch the foot of St Theresa's statue and light a candle and place it on the table she stands on...I stand and look at her beautiful face so calm and kind...today I asked her for help and she reached out and touched me..it made me feel I am loved and that I can love. Writting this my hands are cold but my heart feels warm and I feel happy...x
I felt a connection that St Therese had connected with me..I felt she had felt my pain anquish and she understood me she reached out and touched me. She soothed me
excellent--beautifully presented within a brief space. My mother was greatly taken by St Therese's Autobiography and recently I picked up her copy and began to read. This was a serene reflection on her life. She saw the beauty and godliness in everything she had received and this transfigured it, including her own physical suffering. Thanks for this film.
I took her for my confirmation name many years ago, and every time I see a video of her I feel happy and at times almost get tears in my eyes. She has been been by me from the time I was born and that I truly believe
along with St, Bernadette, whom I took as another saint to ask for prays from when I was in my 20's, Both these saints mean a lot to me and no one could say any thing to make me feel any different.
Thank you for such a beautiful tribute to one our most popular Carmelite saints. She was a genuine one of kind and I encourage all to read her autobiography...Story of Soul. I always associate the meaning of love with Therese. By the way, her feast is coming up this October 1.
Beautiful and joyfull. She learns me to love Jesus for long time ago, with her "little way" and so we became really good friends. Thank you for this so beautiful work. God bless you.
I love St Therese. She is the Saint I pray to and follow as I too feel like a child and I'm middle age. I understand her Litte Way and try to emulate it. What a beautiful path to God. May I too learn to wish for suffering as it is The Way.
I love St Therese, she has chosen me to be my Patron St, just the other day while praying I asked her to shower me with flowers, the next day I walked past a rose bush I walk past everyday, the day i asked her to shower me i noted how bare and sad the bush was, the next morning there was a beautiful red rose, i nearly cried. that rose is now in the church next to the tabernacle and has a heavenly fragrance, i have now asked Therese to be to me a heavenly sister to look after me, i love Therese.
I love her so much. I put my faith in her to carry my prayers to the Lord for over 40 years and she has never let me down. We must lead humble lives , follow her examples.
I heard that God could've preserved Therese from decomposing but she chose to decompose so people wouldn't be frightened from her little way. God doesn't expect something huge from us. Little acts of kindness (being patient, comforting others in their distress, holding back a hurtful word) these, if done with love, mean more to God than the greatest work done without love.
There is something so powerful about this little one; the music here conveys something of the depth of her connection to God. Why are we all so fascinated by her? Because she knew him.
Dearest Saint Therese, you are the Little Flower of Jesus. Pray this day that I may be made well in body, mind, and spirit. Help me to always see, as you so clearly did, that my sufferings and trials are meant to cleanse and purify me so that I may be more worthy to receive God's unending Love. Amen.
Michaelkurasiewics - she is not an idol, us Catholics do not worship her, all we are trying to do is emulate her and learn from her as a path to Jesus.
St. Therese was took care of a wet nurse. She is humble. Her mother died when she was about four. She entered Carmel when she was about 15. After long struggle of Tuberculosis, she died. Her last words were "My God! I love you!"
i was in the chruch at ST. COLMCILLES, CARMELITE CHURCH, KNOCKLYON, Co. DUBLIN to see saint Therese's relics, very very moving being the presence of such a saint, moving, i hope one day myself i can live with her in heaven, god bless to her aidan
I've had anxiety attacks in the past this was a massive heart attack coming on; I had nothing going on that triggered anxiety attacks in the past, it was a massive heart attack that was quite terrifying. I was attempting to activate my heart Chakra, I believe it released a heart attack that would have been would have been imminent and had I not been in the frame of mind to pray to St. Therese it would have been fatal. If it were only an anxiety attack then St. Therese saved me from a "massive" anxiety attack.
I choose her to be my Confirmation Saint. Pictures of her have been showing up in my life ALOT lately and I never really knew her story until now. Her story really has convinced me to have her as my Confirmation Saint.
The shower of roses she was sending. Is sending. Right now, and forever and ever. Why have we suffered? To pay for the heaven that no amount of suffering can pay for.
St. Therese of Child Jesus, please help me and please intercede for me to help me to our finances and please touch our finances and have a financial breakthrough. I pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and through the intercession of Mother Mary and your name St. Therese, thank you so much, Amen.
Yes, I took her name as my own for Confirmation. She was creative also-and wrote a play about St. Joan of Arc. Her sister took that pix of her as Joan, and kneeling when her fever was raging. She knew Therese was prob. going not going to make it. Not many saints have so many great photos:) You can see her great love and intelligence, even amusement,in her eyes.
Dear St Therese,Please pick me a flower from the Heavenly garden and sent it to me with a message of love.Help me out through your intercession with my immigration problems. I trust in Jesus and I know through you and Mama Maria Jesus will do it for me on this your feast day. Greetings from us the poor sinners.
If I have to describe St. Therese in one word, she is Love and love consumes everything! Through love alone it taught us to be simple and pleasing to God. I hope her simplicity become our inspiration in achieving perfection so that we'll become pleasing in the eyes of our Lord. May God bless us all through St. Therese of the Infant Jesus❤️
My mother told me that when I was born, she entrusted me to St. Therese. I just realized that I was born the day after she was baptized. For some reason I feel like crying. I don't really know why. God bless her.
She wanted the Arms of Jesus to be her elevator to Heaven, she chose to throw herself into His arms in total trust and abandonment...Oh how i love Jesus's Little Flower, and I am so blessed to share her Birthday of Jan.2...I put a rose near her statue in my parish on our birthdays, and it is still beautiful all these months later, Oh St. Therese show us your Little Ways!!!!
I feel the same way...that even in the absence of eloquent words, or formed prayers, The Father, Son, and Holdy Spirit know what is in my heart, mind and soul..what my needs are, my feelings, my true intentions....no matter what...no matter how many human counter parts may judge and condemn by my true self Iam known by those that matter...
My conversion date is the same as St. Therese's baptism's date Jan. the 4th. I staved off a heart attack Oct. 17th last year {2013} by praying to St. Therese and breathing deep into my heart Chakra yes heart Chakra. I saw a vision of St. Therese and my oncoming heart attack was staved off. Thank the Holy Trinity and thank you St. Therese.
Don Grindell Did you feel pain or numbness in your left arm? If you didn't it wasn't a heart attack. I have had anxiety attacks. They feel as if your heart is about to explode. But you can control them with breathing techniques. That's why I asked.
"Ah! how rapidly the sunny years of my early childhood passed by, but what a sweet impression they left on my soul! Everything on earth smiled at me. I found flowers under each of my steps, and my happiness disposition contributed also to making my life pleasing."
Im french and happy to see Therese been cherished beyond her limits. If you like she, I can suggest you searching for some videos with tags : Natasha St Pier, Anggun, vivre d'amour...
i'm not Catholic either- and go to a non-denominational church. I read St. Therese's autobiography and testimonies of others about her and have to honestly say she allowed herself to become totally redeemed by the Holy Spirit and identified with Jesus Christ. She allowed Jesus to make her into a true saint and she died at an early age because her spirit was ready to leave this Earth. Even her physical death was identified with Jesus's. I believe she is praying for all mankind!
It is so difficult to put into words, somehow i felt i'd been ' touched ' as though someone was right there with me and i rather think i know who she was. It was truly amazing. We' waited a long while in the queue and it was quite simply well worth waiting for....i'm hoping to visit St. Therese in Lisieux, do you know of any places to stay there? And thank you for replying.
There are coming from a new music collective project realesed some month ago, by the french singer/producer Grégoire with talented singers. All the lyrics are Therese's poems and music by Grégoire. Please note they all sing in french but maybe you will be able to appreciate it...
I wish I could have experienced this entire offering. But the many slides with much writing went by too quickly for me to read the entire slide. Could you edit this to allow more time to read the longer slides? I believe it would be a worthwhile edit. Thank you for your consideration.
That is amazing! God bless you, and I pray for your continued health. St. Bernadette of Lourdes is another Saint that we pray to for health. Many were cured of illnesses at Lourdes France. There are others as well. These Saints bodies never corrupt. That will be another interesting find "The Incorruptible Saints" here on youtube. St. Bernadette died in 1858 I believe, and her body is as perfect as the day she died. Many stories. I welcome you to the faith should you choose.
DEAREST LORD GOD deepest thanks for leading me to stories on YOUR St. Therese of Lisieux my personal patron saint.
St. Therese please pray for me/my family.
Thanks for this & God bless you from Scotland & I became a Catholic at age 55 in 2017 💙💙💙

I was 70 before I found this - and my husband and I, strong believers, in one day made the decision to be Catholic. Wonderful.

How do you know it was a heart attack and not an axiety attack? Did you feel pain? Where exactly? If you don't mind me asking :)
I felt that my chest was about to explode and knew that I could not get to a phone and call 9-11.It was not an anxiety attack.

According to Wikipedia (who shows the same pic), she wrote a theater play about Jeanne d'Arc (Joan of Arc) and played that role seen in the photo.
