I see her as saint of great hope for all who have ever faced pain and abject degradation at the hands of others. It is the road toward purification for those who truly believe

when i was 9, i went to a boarding sch in africa, and i had book about St.Bakhita that friend gave me. I got in trouble because i was reading it at 12am while everyone in the dorm was sleeping, it was my fifth time to read it but the story moved me and made me cry. I decided that i should do good deeds and become a saint. LOL,i was young and silly but the story on saint Bakhita is one everybody should know

But I meant 1: dead people can not pray for us (except Moses and elijah who we know are in heaven from the Bible), and 2: we CAN go to God ourselves.
