Thanks for the review! I am comparing this with the Citro 30, hopefully I can choose one haha. Cheers

Absolutely! Right on, that's a good one as well. I like that it has a reservoir included. Best of luck 🤙

My sternum strap broke on my pack also. The easiest way I found to install mine after many struggles was to place the plastic pieces in boiling water. Take it out of the boiling water and slide it on the rib on the shoulder strap. The plastic after being in the boiling water becomes somewhat softer and makes it so much easier to slide back on.

Awful design on that strap! I should've thought about the boiling in water idea; great thinking. Hope you're enjoying the pack overall 👍

Water bladder taken up space also is something I noticed with the 40L. Not sure how other backpacks of this size deal with it?

Wow, that's interesting about the 40L. Yeah, it's a weird quirk and design flaw. It's one of the reasons why I moved up to a 30L from a 20L- was for the space. There is a Gregory water bladder (3D Hydro Trek Hydration Reservoir) that has the dimensions of (12.4 x 9.44 x 3.15 inches) and I wonder if this would provide more room in a pack since it's design is wider? It would be interesting to try out.

Nice vid, just picked one up in 35l version and the sternum strap clip broke on me too haha. Not the best quality on that plastic. Good to hear its holding up well though.

Oh geez!! 🤣Yeah, that strap needs a redesign ASAP. You're right about the quality on it. Thanks for tuning in!

What hat are you using? I need more sun protection and like the one you have on 👍

Great question! Thanks, dude. I got it at REI it's the The North Face Horizon Breeze Brimmer Hat. I love it. Light weight, good sun protection and moisture absorbing materials. My only complaint is that you have to "train it" to get the sides to look the way they do in the vid... otherwise it will look like a fisherman's hat 😂

Nice review. Can I ask what size pack you purchased? Sm/m or m/lg? I would need your height though too though.

      I believe it's a m/lg and my height is 5' 8"

I have a female version of this pack Jade 28l and it's ridiculously comfortable. the sternum strap was ok so far.

That’s great to hear! Gregory have done their homework when it comes to comfort. Glad to hear the sternum strap is still holding up 👍

Why are the chest straps so bad with breaking on this pack? Also, I’m female with big hooters 😂 and broad shoulders and found the Zulu 30 (mens/unisex) was a lot more comfortable on me than the “women’s” Jade 28, in case other women are looking at this

Good question, haha! Not sure- it's definitely one of the weaknesses with this pack. Didn't have an issue with warm weather... it was only when I was hiking in snowy conditions when the strap became brittle and broke. Thanks for the tip about the Zulu for the ladies 👍
