Michael Holmgaard he just butchered the solo for this tune I don't think it was good at all sounded wrong I don't mind if a guy puts own touch to it but that was bad
50-year old band with a new album on the charts, sold-out tour and yet check out all the "career experts" in this comments section telling them to retire... some people are just simply embarrassing
i just seen them last night they ruled the stage halford sounds the same when i seen them in the 80s his voice is still awesome while the others in the 80s are shot
@@tylerdees4169 Unfortunately Yes You are right, and Priest is very old band,I saw them 2018 year in the Austria, and Halford is losed voice for some songs,He had a 68 year!!
That's the right attitude!!! if Gleen picked Andy so I'm all in about his decision, we can't disrespect Glenn's point of view and will, nobody knows better that himself who he wants to play with the band... As much as I also would like to see K.K. playing back in Priest I support 100% both Gleen's decision and Andy... STAY METAL!!!
I was at that show, it was great. Sold out too and rocking. There new album Firepower i think is freaking awesome. Reminds me of how Iron Maiden’s recent album Book of Souls was awesome too. These guys still putting out music that bands nowadays cant produce.
Classic metal tune that will never die. Its still near the top of my list of JP songs. I believe Glenn wrote this song,,,slipped my mind,,,and this song is really what was the start of heavy metal music way back in the 70's. Can't wait to see this tour videoed and recorded with professional people instead of just cell phones....My youngest son and I went to opening night in Wilkes barre and were five rows back on Ritchie's side of the stage...Great experience for both of us,,,and I'm 51 now..We will never forget it.
I've seen the who's who of metal for 3 decades so I have a good point of reference on this stuff. I just saw Priest this last Friday in Indiana and they kicked the shit out of everything. Honestly that was musically the best metal concert I've ever witnessed to the point of being a near religious experience.
If you read Sneap's involuntary mouth movements very closely, you can clearly see he's saying, "Faulkner and I played all of Tipton's parts on the record."
It's sad that KK and Tipton left, they were magical together. This new line up is still powerful and sound great. I hope that the original 2 can still be involved even if only behind the scenes. Wish them all well and keep F-ing Rockin!
Yeah, you can see footage of the bike during the Ripper years that uses that same dub. Hell, you can see the stage crew pushing the bike when Halford comes out
Sorry to see that Glenn has Parkinson’s - didn’t realize when I saw some other guy playing his part. I usually want to see the original members, but honestly, JP has always been mostly the Rob Hanford show - even during the brief time he wasn’t in the band.
For my money, this "cover" band is better than the originals. They must be doing something right, considering that #Firepower is the highest debuting album ever for Priest # 5 on the Billboard top 200 album chart, which speaks a bit louder than some of the zany comments posted.
Who's the bald guy? I guess I was lucky to see them in '82 and '84..I don't think I'd pay to see them today...I tuned out after Defenders Of The Faith...Turbo Lover was complete shite and they unfortunately went glam like all the other acts in '86...In '86 I saw Ozzy who looked like Elizabeth Taylor but luckily Metallica opened...The only band that didn't change in any era was Motorhead...But Priest did redeem themselves with Painkiller.
Halford's bike being pushed by someone so it can slide until the middle of the stage.. He couldn't learn to slowly drive a bike for 5 meters? He's doing it for 40+ years, come on..
They keep the bike in neutral so he can rev the engine. Its not because he cant ride. Plus you dont want to take the risk of the bike running away by accident.
sorry to say this, but they must've known about Tipton longer than they put on, the songs I swear a bit more fast paced or like they were in the old days on this tour, and just sound more accuratet
What's with the "Crab Claw" technique the new guitarist is using for every song. Just looks bad. He needs a more "metal" look as well. The metro thing isn't "Priest" enough. I know Andy LaRocque pulls it off with King Diamond...but he's also been around for 30 years.
Ok so Andy can play ok, but it's so hard to see Priest without KK and now Glenn. I still love Priest but it's just not the same. I hope this doesn't turn into another AC/DC - Axl type thing.
Roxxane D'troyt I am not questioning his credentials or his ability to play a guitar. I am saying he has absolutely no stage presence whatsoever. This is Judas Priest. Give some energy and effort into the performance, don’t stand around like a stump.
This has not always been the case tbf. If you see videos from late 70s through the 80s, Rob had charisma and presence. But he's 70 now, so I think just not as energetic as he was.
Andy has great shoes to fill, and he is doing amazing, respect
Richie will become a legend of his own some day.... what a magnificent guitarist! :o
Michael Holmgaard he just butchered the solo for this tune
I don't think it was good at all sounded wrong

Halford sounds fucking unreal
i just seen them last night they ruled the stage halford sounds the same when i seen them in the 80s his voice is still awesome while the others in the 80s are shot
You can't have seen them on this tour and talk shit. They killed it.
People are just fucking stupid and think they know everything about music when they don't know there balls from there Fucking ass crack.
@@tylerdees4169 Unfortunately Yes You are right, and Priest is very old band,I saw them 2018 year in the Austria, and Halford is losed voice for some songs,He had a 68 year!!
Thanks for the videos Jim!
I will be seeing this band for the first time ever in March 🤟🤟
It's 2018 and the PRIEST is back!
such a great concert!! thank you for uploading it
Can't wait for Tuesday night!!!!
Can't believe all the hate from Priest "fans".
They're not really fans.
There not fans and if they are there fucking pathetic and just want to bitch about anything.
even if it's not Priest, whatever it is it's fucking good
Great solo, Andy! Thanks for your dedication and passion.
That's the right attitude!!! if Gleen picked Andy so I'm all in about his decision, we can't disrespect Glenn's point of view and will, nobody knows better that himself who he wants to play with the band... Andy is actually pretty good,
Jim, thanks for uploading this! you're always on top of things!
Thank you for taking the time to record and share this. I saw them last month in Irvine, CA. I can relive it anytime I want.
I was at that show, it was great. Sold out too and rocking. There new album Firepower i think is freaking awesome. Reminds me of how Iron Maiden’s recent album Book of Souls was awesome too. These guys still putting out music that bands nowadays cant produce.

I saw them this past Sunday in Biloxi, MS with Deep Purple, and both of these legends still have it!
Gracias Inglaterra por crear a la mas Grande Banda de Metal de todos los Tiempos..JP por los proximos 100años.
Faulkner's tone is thick and huge!
T H I C C
Marc D EXTRA THICC
Didn't know Jason Statham still had hair.
Layne Staley Lol.

LONG LIVE GLENN
Why is Rob holding his jacket? Hiding his belly??Haha, you got to love that guy.
no hes holding a whip near his coat fool
So cool to see Andy sneap play this stuff
There is only one band and one GOD🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Now I think I know what is Andy's favourite Priest song
Andy sounds Great. Perfect fit. Cant wait for NorCal show.
Maybe it is me but his timing on the opening riff sounds off. The way he is playing it maybe.
Andy Sneap has a serious case of involuntary mouth movement while playing guitar. I thought I was the only one!
If you read Sneap's involuntary mouth movements very closely, you can clearly see he's saying, "Faulkner and I played all of Tipton's parts on the record."
I thought all hobos did that?
Kenny K Only if they play guitar.
Skipper The Eye Child
I know right? Lol
Jep! :D by T&M
It's sad that KK and Tipton left, they were magical together. This new line up is still powerful and sound great. I hope that the original 2 can still be involved even if only behind the scenes. Wish them all well and keep F-ing Rockin!
With Accept!!! in Europe on Tour (ok as well a bit Megadeth) --> they have for sure guts
Sound guys livin the dream on guitar.
hey Rob we need another long hair guy to match Richie...not a bald man....xd
New guitar!! What's her name?
what's up with the second solo? that was never in the song. Only Glenn's that was played by the short haired guy with a beard
Wow, I did not know that dealer from High Maintenance can play on guitar like this. O_O
Yeah, you can see footage of the bike during the Ripper years that uses that same dub. Hell, you can see the stage crew pushing the bike when Halford comes out
Probably because of the "incidents" that have happened with the bike in the past.
Sorry to see that Glenn has Parkinson’s - didn’t realize when I saw some other guy playing his part. I usually want to see the original members, but honestly, JP has always been mostly the Rob Hanford show - even during the brief time he wasn’t in the band.

the bald guy is Andy Sneap...producer, sound engineer and musician...
Good, but not the same without KK, Tipton and Dave Holland.
Halford's bike being pushed by someone so it can slide until the middle of the stage.. He couldn't learn to slowly drive a bike for 5 meters? He's doing it for 40+ years, come on..
ABNM R could be a state or venu specific law preventing him from starting the bike. Remember, this isn't 1980.
That would make sense to be honest.
They keep the bike in neutral so he can rev the engine. Its not because he cant ride. Plus you dont want to take the risk of the bike running away by accident.
You don't think the engine sound is real, do you?
The bike isn't even turned on, they probably aren't allowed to even have fuel in it. Health and safety precautions and all.
Don't get me wrong,i love Judas Priest but at what point is it no longer JP ??? They should have talked too K.K.
KK retired. Glenn is still in the band and hes still writing
its not the same without tipton and k.k.
These new guys fill the void pretty well.
Pues ya vuelvan a traer a Ripper y Priest a lo grande sin los principales pilares, con el nombre basta
sorry to say this, but they must've known about Tipton longer than they put on, the songs I swear a bit more fast paced or like they were in the old days on this tour, and just sound more accuratet
This band is a shell of it's former self. Time for them to pack it in already.
KK and Faulkner. ONLY move that would of worked here. Some people need to get over their egos
Sounds exactly like US festival 83'
Did Halford, Faulkner, Sneap, and Hill get some sort of "buy one, get three free" deal at Shitty Leather Wardrobes "R" Us?
I appreciate Sneap, but this shit ain't right without Tipton! He wrote this song!
this is not judas !!!
Wtf is Rob doing on that bike?
Herman Helmich that’s a joke right ?
Rob's been doing that for decades, lol
Yea really, not quite sure what you mean XD he's been doing to since Hell Bent for Leather came out in 1978
He is sitting there and reading the lyrics...?
MaximusMetallus That's what I'm thinking too

Sneap the best on the guitar Faulkner the baby
La voce non c'è più
To be honest I prefer the original "Hell bent for leather" of the fuel for life dvd...Hot chicks in the audience
Sneap has no presence at all
people and their stupid ass cellphones
A tree stump, I just witnessed a tree stump with a beard playing a guitar.
you witnessed a guy in several heavy metal bands playing guitar .look him up. Andy sneap
Roxxane D'troyt I am not questioning his credentials or his ability to play a guitar. I am saying he has absolutely no stage presence whatsoever. This is Judas Priest. Give some energy and effort into the performance, don’t stand around like a stump.
Get rid of that computer nerd guy.
He just doesnt fit in
Wow pretty good for only two original band members cover band Faulkner looks like a kk clone
Holy fucking solo butchering!
i look forward to you uploading videos doing a better job
lets see it bitch
Martin L how old are you, 10
Richie just totally sucked with that solo.
Rich Vee waaat your smoking crack dude.
amazing vocalist but a very poor front man
This has not always been the case tbf. If you see videos from late 70s through the 80s, Rob had charisma and presence.
