He quit drinking back in 1986, I'm sure that helped a lot. I think he still likes the sweet leaf though. :)
No shit! This isn’t a great JP song but his VOICE drives it to be DAMN GOOD. He must treat his chords very well...unlike Paul Stanley, sadly. Wow...just wow. Saw them in 1981 buffalo vengeance tour and Detroit turbo tour. Each was outstanding!
Listen to the original, they play it a semi tone lower surely for the sake of Rob Halford voice (so it is still a great performance)
Nobody does a live performance better. My fav band for 41 yrs now. They still sound amazing! They still write great new albums. There will never be another Judas Priest! Killer performance Rob is still the metal God!

What a performance! I've loved this song since I first bought Stained Class around 2003 or so, and I allways thought it was a bit sad that there was no live recording of it, until now. Boy do they do it justice! Finally we can hear these heavy heavy riffs the way they were supposed to sound!
This was only the second or third time they played it live. I saw them when Stained Class came out and it wasn't played at all

My apologies, as this is the only complete song that I recorded. I shot short little clips of other songs shown together in other video that I uploaded. Phone battery is toast, and not enough free space left to have shot more, but this was the one song that I wanted to get even if it killed my battery while recording.

I took Judas Priest in 1982...i have wondered through the years how it would have been to see the original guitarrists bassist and singer...holding the band for 50 years of carreer...perhaps in other dimmension they are sounding hard...

Turbo Lover is a crowd favourite at Priest's shows. For the last 10 years, it's always gotten one of the best crowd pops and sing alongs at every show that I've attended.
Its called having a 43 year career. Times/tastes change and they briefly adjusted during the 80's. But back to where they need to be.
True, but they have played it on the last two tours.If they want something from that era there are a ton better than turbo lover. Blood Red Skies, I'm a Rocker, Out in the Cold, Reckless, Wild nights, hot n crazy days, would be cool, Ram it down even.
