Good job Wasbir sir. Well moderated. Here is just a common man's observation. The NSF representative seemed dumb; kept wondering like his internet connection, kept blabbering, and brought nothing to the table. The representative should have been given only half a minute to speak because his stance is just a simple 'No' like those of IM group. Low energy, poor attitude and bad representation of our student community. Akukau Kahuto was concise, spoke the fact as it is, raised questions and offered suggestions- a common platforn where ideas can be compared and contrasted. I agree to it. Public should also hear the policies of the negotiators. The third panelist, the Prof. also made some good points. Flag and integration to some extent maybe possible. Separate constitution is difficult, but articles (after thorough debates) can be inserted in Indias constitution. Sir Lohe's stand is also very clear. I do not agree with India making the call, but we do need to churn out the differences amongst ourselves soon. Early solution is the only way forward for prosperous Nagaland. Right now we are lacking in many aspects. God bless Nagaland. May His will prevail.

NSF said they are for all nagas irrespectives of boundaries so where is our Nagaland student's bodies.Nagaland state too must have their own respective apex student's body to work for the welfare of nagaland srudents.

I differ opinion from Mr Kahuto on hijacking the Naga issue by NSCN, I.M.
FGN, NNC had burried Naga issue alive long back in 1975. It was NSCN under the leadership of Isak Chishi Swu, Th. Muiva and S.S Khaplang that the issue of Naga's self determination was exhumed, resuscitated and renewed in 1980. NSCN has legitimate right to speak unlike NNC FGN.
Nagas story is gone if not because of NSCN.

@nika I agree that nagas lived in independent villages where for Sumi's and Konyak's ruled by the village chief and for the rest head of each clan but when 2000 nagas went to France their eyes were opened and they decided to bring all the Nagas together under one nation...and the story goes on but the fact which I've furnished clarifies that they are not for all so they are ignorant or traitors

Just hate the attitude of Kahuto whenever someone speaks he laugh as if he is the solution of everything. His body language says it all. He keeps on attacking another tribes as if his tribes comes out of lotus flower. Recently he attacke our t Lothas now trying to blame others again. Its disgrace that we Nagaland consider them as intellectual who by far did not have any knowledge other than attacking other.
The difference as of now is his opinion matters and yours doesn't. There is this chap named Barth Humtsoe who is a Kyong himself , whom Mr Kahuto Chishi mentions innumerable times on his interview at Dimapur Today requesting the media outlet to get him voice his opinion regarding certain issues as well.

Accepting to be a part of Indian Constitution which only mean another mistake as 16 points agreement is the agreement between the government of India and NPC when some part of Nagas are on board resisting the external aggression. So if Naga are ready to accept within the Indian Constitution after such a long opposing Naga want to be separate from India then there's no meaning in when we look back the struggles and the decades old political problem. Just a thought what if there's no 16 points agreement ? I believe Naga could be have now as a sovereign Independent state today.
There can be no two solutions so why wait and talk later about flag and Constitution.
Well then ceasefire will have to be abrogated and warefare will have to resume. Flag and constitution means full independence. So lets be clear whether we are going for a solution or independence. You don't seat and negotiate for independence but you fight for it. So those who want to fight go ahead. Those who are wise enough will understand that even if Nagas are given full freedom we will fight among ourselves worse then we fought India. Even if Naga integration is done, within some years we will break up again. Its better to be pragmatic.

Naga negotiation can not go on forever. There must an end point otherwise it will end with futility. 23 years negotiation without fruitful outcome is self defeat.

Nagas will never agree on anything. When Indira Gandhi offered Bhutan type solution we disagreed.
When Nagaland state was being formed, Nagas now in Manipur (who did not participate much in the early naga struggle for self determination) were also invited but they refused to join..even the Rengmas in Assam and for that matter even the Karbis were requested to join the new state of Nagaland. They all refused to be a part of it and not because they wanted something better for all nagas but their fathers chose instead to be a part of the political process in the states they are in now. But now they all hate the state of Nagaland and blame it as if it is the root cause of Naga division.
They refused because the state was created as a surrender program by so called mediators used by GOI. Nagas are not fighting against aggressors to be part of Indian Union.
@@zingtai7426 who are "they" who refused to join the state of Nagaland ? State of Nagaland act of 1962 led to the formal recognition of the state of Nagaland in 1963. Th Muivah joined the NNC in 1964. So who were the "they" you refer to..who did not want to join the state of Nagaland because it was surrender?
Rather the fact is, the " they " you refer to sold out their people because they were offered plum political posts in the state "they" chose to stay in.
