I really would like to see a "Mass Nerf" they teased as an idea a few years ago. I think we've hit a point where it's kind of mandatory in order to get things back on track.
It was even said that it was supposed to happen last year but for some reason they didn't do it. I think that after a year they've got some idea how to do it properly and that they will do it. At least I hope so.
@@KingOfTheDungle the problem with that is that a lot of the achievements require "unconventional" playing, so trying to do them while playing the meta almost guarantees you will lose every match. It's just not fun, IMO. I would much rather do them while experimenting with off-meta/meme decks.
First off, revert Renathal. It was a (not so) funny out-of-season April fools joke but now we should bump it up again to 10 health. Then prolly Mass-Nerf, especially mana cheat.
I really hate how hearthstone has turned from a card game to a super duper combo game where they took the concept of the old gods (late game card that require a deck built around it to trigger a powerful effect) and made it the only thing hearthstone is built around, deck creativity has been reduced, and all the game is centred around is having specific late game super cards and just stacking them as much as possible, renethal, that 8 mana manathirst deal 16 one, mage hero etc. its actually the only reason why warrior is still dead, warrior got no hardcore synergy cards, no 40 mana combo worth 10 mana in 1 card, same goes for other classes honestly, see priest and stuff, synergy super combo cards have become hearthstone.
For 2023 I want them to stop making cost reductions, disruptions and unavoidable face damage cards and nerf the already existing ones, the game will be a lot better without them. I would also like to see the Wild mass buffs/nerfs that the developers were talking about back then but never actually made.
I think the dev team just looks at which are the most played cards and nerfs those. Renethel was the most played card but that doesn't mean it needed a nerf
Renathal is not what we needed to stop the powercrept combo decks. what control decks really need are cards with effects similar to Theotar. I know people don't like theotar but that's just because they don't understand the importance of the role that hand attack disruption plays in a game like hearthstone.
What I really want is more Highlander cards!! It’s great that we got Reno back in standard, but with no other Highlander cards it’s hard to play that style of deck! It’s one of my favorites and lots of people enjoy that style. I could make 10 decks out of 1 class back in the day when there was a variety of Highlander Cards. I just want Blizzard to either make or bring back more Highlander cards! :)
@@huseyingul1720 highlander card is for example reno jackson or dragonqueen alextrasa , this card only works if you don't have any double cards in your deck so you have deck with every card only once or you wait until you are at the end of your deck
@@huseyingul1720 Reno Jackson, Zeph, Dragonqueen alex, mage reno ( the 6 drop ), Kazakus, Raza, etc. Like half the community uses the term "reno" for the archetype, simply because reno jackson was the first card that did this and named an archetype after him. The other half just decided to name it universally "highlander". They both mean the same thing: "if your deck has no duplicates, do something broken" decks, which typically have been control decks in the hearthstone of the past. The good kind.
I literally just made my own "How to save Hearthstone in 2023" before watching this. My entire video was spotlighting how the events we have don't appeal to all Hearthstone players. Worlds doesn't mean anything if you don't know the players, don't enjoy the meta, and don't enjoy watching 40 min priest mirrors. I believe we need more events that engage more people within the community, similar to the Thijs Tavern event. It was open to everyone. You had to qualify in that open cup, then get placed for the main IRL event. Hearthstone events got me into Hearthstone, and the meaningful esports system of HCT kept me. I would like to see more events for more players in 2023.
There's always a huge recency bias with those unfortunately, from the creator (although Zeddy tried to mitigate it) and from the voters especially. That last survey that Regis did was heavily skewed towards this very last month of Standard with its results lol
For me the most important thing'd be that they fix the technical aspect of the game. Because after 5 years of me playing and 8 years in general, the game is in a worse technical state than back then. The game almost has more bugs than features at this point. And it's Blizzard, not some senile farmer Joe making a game in his backyard. It's a spit in the face how much money they earn per year and how little do they care about their games. Including their "we have to wait until the next big balance patch" attitude. LoR devs can literally print new cards when they feel archetypes lack options, meanwhile Blizzard shrughs their shoulders, going like "If there was anything we could do...". Sickening. Are they underemployed? Underpaid? What the hell is the issue?
@@N12015 Maybe. I still think their design philophy is fire, but I may be wrong. I'm mostly having a blast with Path of Champions, because they added back my boy Pyke. I have all "Lurk" cards prismatic and I love the archetype, despite it being almost always in low-B-tier.
E-Sport is "dead" for Hearthstone, because Hearthstone has little to do with how good you play in these days. Most games are not "board" vs "board" or stuff like that. In most games it just doesn't matter at all, what your opponent plays or has. Both sides play their deck and one of them wins. Kind of a coin-flip. If you would see every card the other has in his hand, it wouldn't change your plays in waaaay too many games. E-Sport is about skill and reacting to what your opponent does. But since Hearthstone has no boards anymore and most decks give a shit about what the other player does, it's no longer about skill. It's only about: Which matchup is better, who draws his combo pieces faster.
Why is there no in game preview on the portraits before you purchase it? Also why can't we customize portrait trays since we already own them, we should be able to switch them out... Across other classes... I also agree about big mana cheat, it's redicolous
I really want warrior to get something because part of what feels bad is when I see other control classes getting cool shit and my favorite archetype control warrior be shit for half a year, it makes me not want to play the game. Also not saying I want it to be strong necessarily but give it stuff like sister svalna and cool legendarys.
I'll second everything Zeddy just said, spot-on. Though I think one majorly overlooked feature is not having separate ranked rewards for each mode! If you reach plat or diamond in both standard & wild you should get card packs for both, not just the one you rank highest in. Lots of wasted effort. Also DOUBLE the size of all card packs to 10! 5 cards feels incredibly stingy.
Zeddy actually is the only person in my sub box that did a proper video before the New Year (And I follow a lot of people) 👍 You play your Hearthstone very well sir
I loved the flavor of the Witchwood expension and i wish to see something similar like another twisted fairy tale expension And What better stage for it than Drustvar and the witches of the heartsbane coven ? I agree, more colossal minions in general I wish when the devs create a new mechanic that the players enjoyed, they'd stick to that mechanic for more thann only 1 expansion We have a lot of classes in the game I still wish we had the choice between 3 heroic powers I would love to see new, permanent heroic powers added into the game (even if they overlap with each others...I don't care) speaking of heroic power I would kill for a deck archetype for priest that revolve around the shadowform by boosting the damage of your next hp The mage have that but I wanna see it for shadow priest more curses for the warlock I loved the idea but it was stretched too thin in my opinion the warlock would plague your hand and your deck and slowly kill you and Finally my last wish for 2023 is a new roguelike adventure like kobold & catacombs / witchwood but longer with more options with alternate heroes and playstyles
Zeddy, remember that big fix on lady prestor not always working with collosols and how there are no dragon collosols? It leads me to think sindragosa is coming back as a collosol minnion probably
I wish they added a better shop for the game honestly, there's so many portraits that I missed that I just have no idea if are ever going to come back, makes little sense to me that blizzard is taking away my ability to spend money on their game
I don't really mind that tbh. It's nice to have a few skins that are purely "limited" and some that rotate back in. Most games implement that where there are some "rare" collectors skins. It kinda rewards the early players and supporters of the game. Thats just my 2 cents though.
More Tavern Brawls, doesn't have to be a lot, a few is a good start, just make sure to advertise it because most people who aren't hunting for the pack will not check it. Either that or start serious work on doing something else with that mode 'slot' which they said they may do, maybe the monthly rules change idea or something like that. If you build it and it doesn't suck, they will come, Blizzard.
Force Celestalon or whomever that guy is who makes all those ridiculous hidden puzzles for cardbacks to make a Puzzle Mode minigame. I think it could be really fun like the previous one where you figure out who a killer is by inspecting items or whatever that was was genuinely fun. Obviously do NOT do any of the crap where you push arrow keys in a hundred ways and you need to do the puzzle with an Excel spreadsheet though. Seriously, if they just were lazy and did Find The Killer Mode I would be all right with it as a once a day thing. Maybe do a Rarran Mode where you do quizzes on cards for a pack. New game modes is always fun!
Didn’t the devs say that at rotation they would be able to lower power creep? I think they said this back in sunken city and with the previous going out they’ll be able to dial back everything
In MOBAs there's a similar problem where over years of power creep the TTK (time to kill) becomes too fast. I think hearthstone might have a similar problem, and the solution is kinda easy, increase the health of the heroes. Ofc, that's just 1 of the many problems of the game, but it's easy to solve
I think the issue with a DK location is that it would either have to be a neutral DK card, which could be difficult to design for all rune variants of DK, I'd imagine something like "spend -x- corpses to discover an unholy, blood, or frost rune card" would be really cool. But i feel like it would definitely involve spending corpses lol
What would be cool, is if it adapted to whatever the Runes of your deck were. Like BBB it spends deals Lifesteal damage, FFF deals damage and freezes enemies, UUU draws cards and generates corpses. Then the mixed runes splits the effects so like BFU does a bit of each while BBU would deal most of the lifesteal damage and draw a card. The only issue would be what would it do if you made a No Rune DK deck 🤔
@Tarille could mechanically work similar to unidentified contract; it gains the effect based on the alloted runes. Otherwise, it would be way too much text on a single card.
@@onyxowl70 It wouldn't need to have much text just "Gain an effect based on your runes" when looking at it in the collection and in game it'd just state whatever effect it has based on the deck's runes. It doesn't need to list out EVERY possible effect when looking at it as it will only ever have one effect at a time. Much like Transfer Student.
Sad that devs abandoned wild format. There are thousands and thousands of fun cards, but in high ranks only about five decks are played with positive winrate...
its nearly impossible to balance wild and make most decks viable. just too many different cards. meta will alway be limiting because people will play the very best decks there is. nothing can be done to change that
@@jodyboles8208 buff old cards from old expansion's, so old card's and old packs will have value as new one. aka more profit. This will make people to spend money.
@@neondead2.0.15 hahahaha this is a joke right? people are not buying let alone spending money on old cards in a format that isnt even supported much like standard. you can buff all you want but thats just going to cause a different meta which will still be just as limiting..... understand now? its alway like that and alway will be.
@@jodyboles8208 did you even played wild ? it has more variety than standart. Buffs meant to make old sets vaiable again. And if people like something (and it dont ruin expirience for others) than almost every company will try to make it more, so in other words Blizzard can make wild popular again. Or did you forget that cards in core set is from wild expansions (even Rastakhan's Rumble).
@@neondead2.0.15 hahaha dude not many play wild as much as standard. They obviously have alot more cards but certainly not many more meta decks over all though cause again people will just play whatever it the best. Also blizzard isnt going to make money from wild. That's just a fact. Again people dont buy old cards period. They will only change things in wild if something is truly busted or broken in wild. That's it....
Thee things i would like to see: 1) some arena love like special events/new drafting methods 2) an end of season rewards chest for wild that gives wild cards similar to the standard one which would encourage more people to play wild 3) eSports returning to twitch with live events and proper advertisement
I still think that my idea is the best way to help. Wrote that idea in many different platforms and I'm curious what you think about it. Just think about it as a starting point. So when I play I start to get annoyed about the constant abuse of certain combos/mana cheat /etc. My idea is to be able to cancel some of the cards or even classes when playing. For example I'm bored with fighting the shudderwock or the Baku paladin or the actual top tier decks' key component card. You name it. With this change no more nerfs are needed. Because if you don't like a certain card you won't face it. And also if you copy your deck from someone else you'll be probably face players with the similar goals. So it's a win for everyone. I hope you get my idea (hopefully I was able to translate it good enough). Thanks Zeddy for your work all year!
In the past I heard people suggest the possibility for every player to ban one class from their matches. The most common response was that, if it were implemented, Priest mains would never get to play the game.
Removing the pay to win aspect of Battlegrounds. Improvements to stagnant game modes(not balance related), monthly classic 'era' rotations would be great, doing anything at all with Mercenaries would be an improvement. Dialing back the aggro decks and burst from hand so control and mid range style decks felt viable again would be nice. Brann Bronzebeard rotating out of Standard sooner rather than later would be nice.
They REALLY need to stop with the excessive from hand burst damage. There's a reason they originally created the Rush mechanic to use instead of Charge, because SMorcing from hand is not fun or interactive. Meanwhile, Denathrius, Astalor, Shockspitter gets printed that burst face for a bajillion damage. Now, having some combo decks is okay, but make them like Patron Warrior or OG Miracle Rogue where they take skill or time to pull off. In a similar vein, quit with the inevitable win cons. Demon Seed, Juggernaut, Mograine... All serve to mean that IF a control meta exists, these classes can auto-win most match ups because of their infinite damage over time. Really, just quit with non-interactive stuff, it's not fun to be completely helpless against what your opponent does (Also while were at it, make Secret removal cards trigger BEFORE counter secrets again) More Solo Adventures please. I've been playing Dalaran Heist and Tombs of Terror a bunch and would really like something new. Even more so with all the crazy archetypes that exist and can be implemented in the buckets like Quest decks (Including ALL 3 quests), DH decks, DK decks etc.
I would love to see them go back to old expansions and buff a ton of cards. Like give silver back 2 attack, or give the Frankenstein legendary’s stuff like rush/ taunt etc. these cards are never used besides people who just don’t care about the Meta. But I feel a lot of cards just get overlooked because of better options.
There should be deck rotations for free decks that you can try out let's say for a week so that you can play around with it and decide if you like that certain type of archetype to play.
You missed one! DK also needs a questline! But for the Colossal I think the affect could be "at the end of every turn, each one of the little minions kill an enemy minion and gain a corpse." And it could have 3 little minion things. I feel like that that could be powerful without being overly so. For the location, I have no idea.
This is something that I've always thought of especially since legends of runterra appeared. What if they implemented a system that allowed you to swap cards for gold. The idea is that when your open packs especially if you are free to play and you get a legendary but it's for a class you hardly ever play and while sure its 400 dust regular but legendary costs 1600 dust so that's a lot of disenchanting with skewed returns but you could pay gold and swap it out for a legendary you do want. This would also extend to other rarities and they could limit how many times you do this per season like a 1-2-4-6 rule based on the rarities so that buying pack is not completely gone. I don't think this will actually happen but I just thought I'd throw this out there.
Would like to a see a coop game mode. Like the ones from the tavern brawl's, 2 players vs. AI. Was fun at the time. Also nerfes to many cards and a DK location
Better yet, an arcade mode that's loaded with a bunch of different tavern brawl style games that rotate monthly, or a custom game mode where you can set hero's health and set decks and special minions and all sorts of stuff. Kinda like overwatchs custom browser. Game has so much untapped potential, seriously.
Basically build a wild set with a deck determination to say - fun vs aggro and control. Fun decks get their own slot , older player get condemn as hs said don't disenchant your cards but nothing other than a single pack per week
More secrets and more complex secrets would help a lot. Making people paranoid to lay down their nukes so confidently, having them slowly dismantle your traps and inadvertently revealing their win condition plans so you can prepare to react. Add some cat and mouse strategy that stalls out the game past 5 minutes.
@@CMbReCk you enjoy thirty second games where you only make it to four mana? I get that some people like aggro, but the absurdity of aggro right now is far too much. It needs to be dialed back by a turn or two so that anything but another aggro deck has the ability to stabilize without losing due to not having mana. It's ridiculous that shit like aggro druid not only has a lot of card draw, but also some generation. Aggro is supposed to dump everything until it runs out of gas and hope the smorc sticks. But with how powercrept this game has gotten, it doesn't matter anymore with so many ways to generate and reload and pile on win-more crap. It's incredibly boring and makes over half the cards in the game literally useless If we're stuck in an aggro meta. Some people like to actually play the game for more than 2 minutes while taking a shit.
I want to see zero Wild nerfs. Certain players take Wild too seriously when Wild is pretty much just a ranked casual mode. Balance changes should be nonexistent.
You have to be kidding, Wild only gets nerfs only on extreme situations like Tome Tampering, if anything we need more Wild nerfs, not less. And Wild isn't just a casual mode. Balance changes should be for every mode, even Arena gets more changes than Wild.
Easier way to earn gold besides winning in ranked or arena. So free to play would actually be viable. Sell older packs for less gold/money. There is no reason to sell them at current rate. A free version of arena( with no gold buy in and far worse rewards, but it is just for fun and practice) and duel format where u do not need 16 cards to enter. Those are my wishes for core gameplay
As a side note, I hope the next rotation and next set provide some much needed changes. The removal of 3 of the most toxic sets in HS history and the rotation of the league of explorers (brann) should really help the health of the game. If it doesn’t, we might have a repeat of the United in Stormwind mega where everyone just leaves.
A smaller note: remove blizzard bots entirely from all PVP modes; they make low ranks a pointless pushover and ruin the new player learning curve due to a lack of experience against real players.
How about instead of classic mode make it a block format, where it starts with 3 different past expansions with one being added through the year like standard and then switch the sets or every couple months do a 3 expansion block format. How fun would that be just a month or two of tgt, un goro, and rise of shadows cards just saying
DK Colassal: Sindragosa Frostbrood 8 mana 8/8 Undead-Dragon Freeze any character damaged by this minion. Battlecry: Freeze a target enemy minion and those adjecent to it. Colossal part. DK location: The Spire 3 mana At the end of the turn if a minion died spend a corpse to summon a Val'kyr Herald. Val'kyr Herald 3 mana 3/3 Undead
I would like to see instead of bots on ladder the ability to earn packs in casual mode. Playing meta decks to climb ladder is just not fun for everyone. I've made it to diamond before but it just got frustrating playing the meta deck non-stop
make player build their own deck, not copy-paste, it is the way to save webdeck-stone. i mean nerfing or buffin never going to be matter, because people always gonna do same thing over and over with their copy-paste deck so there will be always busted hated cards. like it was sire D now its going to be astalor than something else.
The other day while doing achievements in wild i have reached gold 5 and thought maybe i can do platinum again this month. I had a streak even. So queued up my evolve shaman deck i used to take platinum last two months. First game against warlock and got blown away by 30+ (even 40 maybe) damage from hand by them dumping hand on turn 6. Who needs tome tampering even? Thought, huh, and went back to achievement hunting :D
Maybe it's off topic and no one wants to hear it, but I'm playing Duelyst II and I couldn't care less about Hearthstone outside of some people like Zeddy making it entertaining without me having to actually play it. I've long since realized that Hearthstone fundamentally doesn't compel me. I always yearn for something another digital card game has, whether it's much more counter play, deeper mechanics and more complex card effects, or the tactics of something like Duelyst or Faeria. For what it's worth Zeddy, I would be interested if you branched out to other games outside of sponsorships. Duelyst II specifically, if you are so inclined.
If you want Hearthstone/Blizzard to do better, then what you can do is make Marvel Snap (their competition) look better and hype it up, so Blizzard feels the need more to do better to keep up in the competition
Save Hearthstone? Dude you spent a fortune on the game you constantly complain about. Every expansion is a hype which ends after 3 days and there 4 months of constant complaining. I don't understand how do you live your life like that. How are you not depressed?
Its simple, mass nerfs everything, take control back to the game, stop with the fucking 30dmg from hand using like 6 mana, giant absurd minions by turn 4, endless wave of minions from generated cards, the game is dying and they keep on doing the same shit that make people quit, Death knight was the last resource they had to keep people in the game and bring old players deck, and it was such a well designed and balanced class for a meta that is about cheating everything, it cant compete at all
Metas come and go but I think one of the best points is changes to the rewards track. Getting a golden shitrare you can't disenchant feels insulting, a waste of a level
Powercreep rotation is interesting, but to perform this they need to spend one year on releasing low PC and then rotate high PC cards from old sets to wild. But how people are going to play when new cards have low PC and old have high I don’t really know. It’s a question about card designs, not a powercreep. Some cards now are game designers pain and they can’t do anything with them because it’s their core mechanic, not just amount of health or mana cost, i prefer bad cards but with interesting designes - Reno Jackson is the card that changed the whole game just by great design, and what about celestial alignment? That card was powerful but nobody liked it.
Right now it feels like they balanced all burn decks for 40 life, but you only got 30, because having 5 more is not worth the 10 cards, even though I love playing big decks because they lead to more varied games.
I still think blizzard could create "locked mana" cards (they can't change their costs no matter what) or blocking mana cheat to "above 0 mana", no 0 cards, the player HAS TO spend mana to play It but that its just me
Does HS need saving? The Updates take care of the ridiculous stuff. Blizzard removes the discouraging garbage from Standard. Blizzard fails to anticipate the broken stuff and the bugs. --- My suggestions?: Give drawbacks to the too-cheap cards, like the new Paladin cards that damage your Hero when cast. This negative consequence-feature can be added to the other class' cards. [Druid spell: Feed The Field: (0 Cost) Sacrifice a minion to gain an empty mana crystal.] Make mana-cheat cards that affect random cards in your DECK, not your hand. [Mage minion. Patient Tutor. (1-cost)1/3. Battlecry: Reduce the cost of a spell in your deck by (2) to a minimum of (1).] Necrolord was mediocre until Loan Shark let you make a 30-Attack weapon or Stealth minion with the location. [Rogue spell: Easy Mark. (1-cost) Enemy's two lowest-Health minions gain “Deathrattle: Opponent gains a Coin.”] [Lurking Loan Shark (3-cost) 2/2 Stealth. Whenever an enemy minion dies, gain a Coin.] … Because Zeddy asked: … [New Death Knight Location: Vault of Bones (2-cost) (3-charges) Draw an Undead and gain a Corpse.] [New Death Knight Colossal: Ettragaz, the World Worm (6-cost Legendary Undead Beast) 2/8. Taunt. Has +1 Attack for each Corpse you have. Colossal +1. (Jonak. (1-cost)1/1. Stealth. Deathrattle: Return Jonak to your hand.)]
Stop making neutral cards that can end the game by themselves no matter what class is playing it. Denathrius and Astralor, I'm looking at you two. Stop giving Druid all of Warrior's stuff. Warriors gain armor, people scream for nerfs, Druids gain even more armor, get better minions at every mana cost, draw more cards, get better removal, on top of their mana cheating and mana ramping. Slow card draw down.
They need to revert renethal when he goes to wild, maybe even buff him.. what is wild gonna be like with demon seed, switcheroo, tome tampering, and stealer of souls playable? 😨
5:36 Ideas for Death Knight location, Colossal, Questline, and Death Kn- I mean, hero card: (Note: These are all runeless) Location: The Frozen Throne: 2 Mana, 3 Durability: Destroy a friendly minion. Add a random Lich King card into your hand. Colossal: : 6 Mana 5/4: Colossal +2. Deathrattle: Spend 7 Corpses to resurrect me. The appendages: 3/1: Deathrattle: If you control , add a into your hand. Hero card: Kil'jaeden, the Deceiver (yes I know not technically DH but he created the Lich King so) 6 Mana: Battlecry: Give your opponent the powers of a Lich King.
To be honest Zeddy, i am truly sick of aggro. Yes, it is good to keep those tempo decks in check, but what we are having right now is absolutely ridicilous. If every single game is to end around turn 6-7 what is the point of playing different classes? They are all doing the same thing with a different hero power.
I really would like to see a "Mass Nerf" they teased as an idea a few years ago. I think we've hit a point where it's kind of mandatory in order to get things back on track.

I would also like to see the Wild mass buffs/nerfs that the developers were talking about back then but never actually made.
mana reduction should be on cards costing 5+ and also limit how many card they can affect
Also, less Shudderwock-like cards, they are busted, repetitive and uninteresting.
The only way that happens is set a rule without text , *all card can't cost less than 1*
I think the dev team just looks at which are the most played cards and nerfs those.
Don't you understand, he was making control barely playable and that's actually illegal in Hearthstone TOS.
@@xSnowdrift Indeed it was making control barely playable... Because it buffed Midrange decks so much it became almost impossible for them to counter.
they let death knight have the ability to gain +50 max health but nerf renathal? genius
That ability does not always happen and even when it does DK still loses they are not in a special spot lmao. Below the middle
I think about a non runic card that changes its effects based on your rune setup
Similar to the mage legendary that changes effect based on the last spell you cast

I 100% agree on wishing Renathal wasn't needed. Powercreep has gone way too far.
Where's Lady S'theno on that list? Aggro DH shrekt the whole Sunken City expansion until mini set arrived lol
Altough well, LoR is also kinda underdeveloped lately.

It's only about: Which matchup is better, who draws his combo pieces faster.
mana cheat
card draw/generation
"but not less than (1)"
Why is there no in game preview on the portraits before you purchase it? Also why can't we customize portrait trays since we already own them, we should be able to switch them out... Across other classes... I also agree about big mana cheat, it's redicolous
Let's give chump some more love guys. He's been around for a long time and doesn't get nearly enough attention imo.
No. I would rather watch paint dry. If its a vibrant color it will definitely have more personality.
Zeddy actually is the only person in my sub box that did a proper video before the New Year (And I follow a lot of people)
👍 You play your Hearthstone very well sir
I loved the flavor of the Witchwood expension and i wish to see something similar
like another twisted fairy tale expension
And What better stage for it than Drustvar and the witches of the heartsbane coven ?
I agree, more colossal minions
in general I wish when the devs create a new mechanic that the players enjoyed, they'd stick to that mechanic for more thann only 1 expansion
We have a lot of classes in the game
I still wish we had the choice between 3 heroic powers
I would love to see new, permanent heroic powers added into the game (even if they overlap with each others...I don't care)
speaking of heroic power
I would kill for a deck archetype for priest that revolve around the shadowform by boosting the damage of your next hp
The mage have that
but I wanna see it for shadow priest
more curses for the warlock
I loved the idea but it was stretched too thin in my opinion
the warlock would plague your hand and your deck and slowly kill you
and Finally my last wish for 2023 is
a new roguelike adventure like kobold & catacombs / witchwood
but longer
with more options
with alternate heroes and playstyles

I wish they added a better shop for the game honestly, there's so many portraits that I missed that I just have no idea if are ever going to come back, makes little sense to me that blizzard is taking away my ability to spend money on their game
Same. I wish all skins were available in the shop permanently, even if you had to buy them with real money.
New game modes is always fun!
would love to see a monthly rotating wild 2 mode with 5 ish wild sets + standard decks...
Didn’t the devs say that at rotation they would be able to lower power creep? I think they said this back in sunken city and with the previous going out they’ll be able to dial back everything
imagine if they made sindragosa the colossel and the limps are those annoying whelps from the raid
I love that idea
In MOBAs there's a similar problem where over years of power creep the TTK (time to kill) becomes too fast. I think hearthstone might have a similar problem, and the solution is kinda easy, increase the health of the heroes. Ofc, that's just 1 of the many problems of the game, but it's easy to solve
I also wish they didnt nerf renethal since they dont like fixing turn 5 wins
I think the issue with a DK location is that it would either have to be a neutral DK card, which could be difficult to design for all rune variants of DK, I'd imagine something like
"spend -x- corpses to discover an unholy, blood, or frost rune card" would be really cool.
Reverting renethal would be great

Happy new year homie!
Death Knight locations: Ebon Hold/The Frozen Throne
have been logging in and out pretty quick from HS. swear all the decks are aggro and you can't compete against them with control.
Really, just quit with non-interactive stuff, it's not fun to be completely helpless against what your opponent does (Also while were at it, make Secret removal cards trigger BEFORE counter secrets again)
More Solo Adventures please.
Questlines were from last year, not this one. The last miniset of the year generally only uses mechanics from that year
@@frostedwyrm7321 Oh, I didn't know that. I came into hearthstone this year.
Happy new year Zeddy and nova
Going back the powercreep might be a good idea, but would be hard as hell to delivery
No, slow meta sucks

Ah damn, I thought I was slacking, but then I saw that Zeddy also was just about to hit the rewards track, so maybe I am not slacking after all.
Hearthstone never should have been an e sport in the first place and the game would be better off if that entire idea died.
They need to give Blood DK some love. Aggro and combo are ridiculous right now
Easier way to earn gold besides winning in ranked or arena.

A format with 4 random expansions every month would be great
If you want Hearthstone/Blizzard to do better, then what you can do is make Marvel Snap (their competition) look better and hype it up, so Blizzard feels the need more to do better to keep up in the competition

zeddy zeddy zeddy we need to do some serious lore talk, that was near an insult ;)
Getting a golden shitrare you can't disenchant feels insulting, a waste of a level
most broken has to be theo. nerfed by 2 mana and still played a lot.
We need a bunch of new modes, highlander mode, 20 card mode, 60 card mode etc. I'm actually starting to play more MTG and marvel snap than hearthstone
I'm fine with Renethal staying nerfed if they do a mass nerf. The game needs it at this point.
(1-cost)1/3. its not even hearthstone its solitaire, discusting meta with the same classes while almost half the classes are unplayable
It's been that way for more than a year now, so at this point I'd say it is Hearthstone.
That should add Wild to worlds as well as BG.
Who would expect that a boring meta means less views. Who would prefer seeing people play miracle rogue over yogg decks?

To be honest Zeddy, i am truly sick of aggro. Yes, it is good to keep those tempo decks in check, but what we are having right now is absolutely ridicilous. If every single game is to end around turn 6-7 what is the point of playing different classes? They are all doing the same thing with a different hero power.
