Good 😊..How to prepare canvas?do u applied gesso first?

I don't use gesso. I use building putty for masonry. Masonry putty especially suitable for filling and surfaces of most building materials and WOOD. Putty designed for WOOD has sufficient elasticity and adheres well to the canvas.

You can use wall putty, but it's better to use repair putty for wooden products.
