I had to curve how many times I played this song by Danny Couch as it made me homesick and always gave me a longing for Hawai'i nei. Now I never have to leave "These Islands". It has, is and always will be "Another Day in Paradise".
I can definitely relate to this, I miss my Hawaiian home everyday too. Hawai'i is such a special place and will always hold a place in my heart. My hubby promised we will move back someday.
I first heard this song on Kauai as I was driving down the road. It gave me a huge lump in my throat as I watched the mist-shrouded mountains come into view. Danny Couch does the best version of this song, by far! Bravo!
These Islands was a tribute written for the mother of Danny Couch. I don't know the whole story of this song but I know it was written in a short time before her passing. It's so amazing how something so beautiful can be created out of something so tragic.

Recently went to Kauai and went to a luau. They started with this song and I fell in love with it. So beautiful it brings me to tears and gives me chills. They danced beautifully to it also. So happy I got it on my camera so I could look this song up and watch it again.

Just got back a month ago from Hawaii. We went to the same luau on Kauai (Smith's Luau) and they danced to this song. Such an incredible place and people.
This guy desserves to be way more famous. I mean, we've got videos 20 sec video's of fat kids, video's of monkeys riding bikes and loads of crap music (don't even get me started on JB) with so much more views than this. Anyways just wanted to say that this was pure gold.

Leina Bektassova ....I have the CD; bought it in HONO Airport about 15 yrs ago. Had my daughter there for early HS graduation. We heard it constantly on Island Radio; I was and remain NUTS for Danny's album version. It transports me back there instantly, to an absolutely beautiful place and time with my family. The ONE SONG makes the buy right. The balance of the album cannot match the LOVE AND THE GLORY Danny put into his song. Prior to today, I did not know it was dedicated to his MOM.

One of those experiences I wish to experience with my wife and children before it is too late is to hear Danny Couch sing live . He has been performing on Oahu. We have visited Maui and Kaua..
Frankly, I think he has an excellent voice, with great range, great tone, and great style.
Danny and Keali'i Reichel are still around, two Hawaiian performers I most wish to see and hear live.

While this is a beautiful and incredible song, your video was boring in the fact that it wasnt even a video but the song playing while looking at the album cover. Look at a couple of the other videos of the same song and recording and see how they have incorporated pictures into a video montage to coincide with the lyrics in the song. Looking at those pictures while Danny is singing really brings the song home and to life!!
