    I'm still rearranging my fish house, but when I'm done I want these fish again. Keep breeding them, please.

    Thanks for showing the differences in their coloring. Beautiful in either tank but against the lighter substrate those colors really pop!

    That was some fantastic footage! I really like Gudgeons of all kinds as they are so interesting looking and there is something in the way they move....
    Thanks for sharing your process.

    So they raise them like a Cichlid would? That’s cool. Missed these videos.

    Great video Dan! Can you share the brand of egg tumbler you used in video?

    • @DansFish
      @DansFish  2 роки тому

      I don't think it has a brand. I purchased it from a fellow hobbyist like 15 years ago. But I don't remember exactly who I got it from.

    Yes, Dan, I enjoyed that video very much! I have a LOT of questions tho. First- HOW did you EVER come up with this whole process for the eggs, the FRY and everything!? Wow--- I'm lost. Second, do you use a filter, or just water changes + the cherry shrimp ? Heater? Wow- I already forgot my other questions. Duh..... I never heard of this breed of fish--- I am pretty impressed, cute, colorful little fish-- how big do they get??? Thanks so much Dan 👍 have a great night.

      Dan DIDN"T invent this procedure...COMMERCIAL BREEDERS did...

    Idk if it's my luck but the ones I got laid only one batch of eggs but that was it. They never tried to laid anymore or seem to want to breed. Maybe it's the tank or set up. I tried a few things like different tank substrates, plants, rock layouts, foods but no breeding behaviors.

    Dan@dan's fish love these breeding videos, always more in depth then most on UA-cam, maybe I'll give these a shot someday, seem pretty straight forward process.
    Apparently I'm having issues with my email- I can't send or receive them so I'm in the process of setting up a new account. I've tried emailing you couple times since last Wednesday nights livestream on the blind cave tetras, even sent you a message on Facebook messenger. I also need to update my profile on the get gills site. See everyone Wednesday night!

    I've noticed forks in two of your videos, in a tank. What is the story here?

    • @DansFish
      @DansFish  Рік тому +1

      We stick veggies like Zucchini on them so they sink to the bottom for shrimp, Snails, plecos, otos, etc

      @@DansFish Thanks, I figured there was a specific reason, but I couldn't think of one. But now it makes sense.

    I didn't know people kept gudgeons as pets.
