A couple updated notes I'd like to make on Virtues: In general, Valour is more valuable than Determination now when comparing the two for more DPS stats. Valour gives more total mastery, a small loss in crit, but a decent boost in finesse. The gain in mastery alone outweighs the loss in crit. At high levels, Loyalty gives more total morale than Honour and Fortitude. So, for long-term building for Wardens, if you wish to have the morale and defensive boost, I would recommend prioritizing Loyalty first. Keep in mind virtue flexibility as covered in the video, epsecially with endgame and what gear you have if you are looking to hit certain stat goals.
I have thought about splitting this type of guide into 2 parts - one on the basics with stats & gear and the other focusing on just virtues in a much shorter video. What do you think? *Timestamps:* 02:12 - Stats 10:57 - Gear 15:00 - Virtues 26:15 - Conclusion and Guides Update!
Hello there! Im a big fan of the class, and therefore, of your videos. Im kind of a new player so i have a noob question: why you didnt mention Justice? Thanks Man and please keep working on this channel!
I don't think virtues matter while leveling a character. It's not like landscape questing is challenging whatsoever. The goal should be to work on leveling the virtues you will need at level cap, whichever those might be.
Thanks for the input! That is a good when considering leveling your virtues (keeping in mind the meta for endgame virtues have, at least historically, changes frequently - so it's good to get started on consistently used virtues). Some of the strong virtues for lower levels comes in to play if you are in a progression group, or on the legendary servers (or the upcoming new legendary server... whenever that will be).
Technically a sword is better, but by only a very little bit, where for most content it doesn't matter, but will slightly help in highest difficulty tiers.

soooooo, for a very casual player who only does non-group to small group stuff solo and is a "set it and forget it" kind of person what five virtues would you choose to set and forget???
Loyalty and Wit are two great ones to start with. Other three could be remaining DPS ones if you want to go through stuff faster, or if you want more survivability, getting the two to increase max morale would be good (then finishing with another DPS one, like the crit one that I am forgetting the name of right now). Hope that helps - I can't log in right now to check the virtue names

Good guide, one question, should my Warden be a human or an Elf ?
Could you do this again but for dummies. Like 3 words max and more pictures!
I is smart.
can you do a warden tank gambit tut?
Great guide bit overwhelmed
But I'm wondering what's the best main hand as a high elf sword or spear?
