Maybe we could meet up sometime and share some history .im a 5th generation here and my great grandparents used to own the motel out in the gulch before it burnt down the first time. I've only been prospecting for a little over 3 years but Im hooked for life! I've driven through shasta city a few times, super cool area love the history. I prospect on the yuba river near where I live
@@joediggings844 how often do you go out? I mostly prospect on the Sacramento river and clear creek near Redding. I go all year as long as it's sunny ish. My best spot yielded a gram and a half in about 5 hours using a mini high banker.

ya I always like to take samples,,just never know i juts use a sludge hammer and iron skillet works pretty good,,,
